Didn't know why I bothered to visit the place. Prices weren't amazing.

The guys in the store were great but the deliver and installation was absolutely terrible. The delivery staff were not capable of lifting my product and then left without completing the installation. They returned for a second time and once again left leaving parts uninstalled. The prices are great but to be honest I would prefer to pay more and have the products installed and function correctly. The attitude of the management to being criticised was also less than acceptable, aggressive and dismissive. Back to the good guys or appliances online for me!

I thoroughly recommend seeing Colin, the Manager, at Dandenong outlet, as he has been faultless from my experience from research, questions, recommendations, price, and follow up service. Definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 👍

I would not recommend buying anything from here. I purchased a fridge and was told it would be delivered within three days, but it actually took two weeks, when I received the delivery it had lots of dents. Every time I inquired about my order, customer service was unhelpful and dismissive, almost like they were trying to avoid giving me any real information. The experience felt unprofessional and frustrating, as if they were just brushing me off instead of addressing my concerns. Not worth the hassle—look elsewhere for better service and reliability.

Went in looking for TV's only to find a very limited number of TVs in stock, mostly brands I'd never heard of..

Picked up a bargain... wide range of products to choose from, some at discounted prices. Service was quick and deal was done in a few minutes. Happy to recommend.

This place has outdated stocks for sale and compared to the store it’s much cheaper. Service was great and picked up the item within 10mins. They load it in to the car as well.

Looking at fridges didn't seem like the discounts were a reflection of the cosmetic damage

Not much different in price

Purchased a Franke Onyx sink, opened box at home and the sink was warped. Existing sink was already removed and disposed of. Took it back on a Sunday, was unable to swap on the spot as no warehouse staff present to operate the EWP on a Sunday, no issues there. Night no. 1 with no functioning kitchen. Offered a new sink next day, free delivery. Was happy with that. I asked for the the placement sink to be checked over prior to dispatch, manager said yes and will leave a note. New sink turns up, the warping is worse than the origional and is also cracked. Obviously it was not inspected. Called about the issue, was told by salesman a replacment can be sent next day... night no. 2 no functioning kitchen. I went back to the store, several other sinks had boxes open for inspection. All had same warping issue. No mention of second grade, warp issue from salesman or on any tickets. I needed a functioning kitchen, i had no chose but to accept a warped second grade sink. Should have gone to E&S Trading, avoid Harvey Norman Dandenong.

Excellent customer service, great communication from Harvey Norman and the courier. Told it would arrive by Friday, arrived Wednesday, old fridge removed, new fridge installed. Perfect. Good savings on product, full manufacturer warranty, highly recommend.

First time and the last time, Bought a fridge with Harvey Norman and already experience a disappointment customer service. We paid $100 for a fridge to be delivered to our home and the delivery guy didn’t have any motivation to bring the fridge ( 76 cm) in as he said the door was too small ( front door dimension is 80 cm). I came to the store and had an agreement to delivery the fridge the second time for $50, I know we take the loss there ! Today I take half a day off, even take the front main door off to ensure there will be no excuses from the delivery guy. Surpr didn’t even bother to give me a call ( as requested to their manager), stared at the front door and walked away while I was working at home in the living area. What a bunch of scam, their managers informed to call me back for an update but nothing has been done ! They said they would delivery the fridge tomorrow morning. Stay away from these money suckers. Not as cheap as you'd think as the name suggests. Would recommend checking $ online for the item you're considering. Was looking at a fridge and found that the discount wasn't worthwhile (ironically I then went to the HN around the corner and picked up an ex-display unit for better value).

I purchased a few items from these guys last( an Oliveri toilet, a Franke kitchen mixer , Franke laundry sink, Franke pullout bin and some other stuff. Laundry sink came with wrong hardware and had to make two trips to fix that. Bin turned out to be fake. Now i can say with confidence that the Oliveri toilet and Franke mixer are also either fake or the reason they ended up in that store is because they have inherent design flaws and defects. The toilet keeps clogging for no reason and every once in while won’t flush. The mixer pull is stuck and takes bit of pull to open which makes water spill everywhere. Also the finish has started to peel which is very unlikely with genuine Franke .Clearly this shop is a place where quality control has no place and they sell anything without making sure whether it works or not or whether they are genuine.

Great staff and friendly service

We got a great deal on a great fridge from a great salesman who listened to what we wanted . That resulted in him getting a quick sale and us getting a fridge that met our needs and it only took about 15 minutes!

DO NOT SHOP HERE! Beware of what they tell you. We bought a fridge/freezer with the promised delivery date of Monday 30th Jan I waited all day no delivery.. Promised Saturday 4/2 Now told Not on truck. No Customer service skills at all. Would Not even refund!!!!

Careful of prices can get new products same model cheaper. Google everything

Thank you Harvey Norman for the excellent customer service. My French door refrigerator/freezer and dishwasher was delivered on time today by 2 very helpful, polite, friendly young men. Nothing was too much for them helping me. The salesman Ross was also very helpful showing us a good range of what we needed.

Great Service

Spoke to the girl on the phone today about paying for my item with a gift card. She said it couldn't be done, even though I have paid for 2 items prior the same way. Asked to speak to her manger put me on hold, then said her manger was in a meeting. Asked her again to try again.. low and behold it worked! Didn't even apologise was so rude after I said we had missed communication still didn't apologise and then hung up the phone on me.. Absolutely disgusting service. I then rang back and told her it was not acceptable hanging up without even acknowledging her mistake an apologising. I deal with customers everyday and I have never spoken to anyone like that in the 30 years I've been in customer service. Manger needs to teach her a few lessons in customers service. Disgusting!

The delivery guys were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and they even put all the little sticky floor savers I had on the feet of the 3-piece lounge suite. There was also a part missing from one of the cords and they organised a replacement straight away. Excellent delivery service.

Worst after service, we spent $20,000 on a stove (incorrect gas fittings), dishwasher (legs bent and door spring needs replacing), rangehood (came missing the engine and instructions for installing). Salesperson did not return calls or put us off saying we had to contact the manufacturers. Packages delivered in filthy torn packaging. When we complained in person staff surounded us and started to physically intimidate us.

Got railroad by staff member, pressured / conned to buy fridge, followed around like a vulture. 1 year ago; still not happy. Will never go back, friends as well. AVIOD COMPLETLY..DO NOT ENTER😕

MANAGER ROB is the rudest guy I have ever came across, doesn’t have any patience at all. As a customer I have full right to ask questions and visit the store as many times I want. It’s not your Dad’s store mate. Learn some basics , I think he needs to be sent to school again.

Very bad customer service, the manager said he'll call the police because we asked a lower price on a dish washer. They are not a genuine outlet store and shame on them for being a Harvey Norman. Pure vulture and no customer service after you have handed them the money. Plus they don't do refunds for change of mind, don't get scammed just because they are using Harvey Norman name. The good guys and JB Hi Fi have way better customer service and deals.

Worst customer service i ever encountered from ROBERT, i called in today to ask a specific tv brand and model. so rude and unhelpful, i called just to make sure before heading there that the tv is available. you don't need to be so mean!!! you guys just lost a buyer i was about to buy 2 75inch tv. now i know why your review is 3.6 stars it should be -1...!!!!

Staff member was literally following us and hiding behind fridges so he wasn’t seen. Extremely pushy and rude. Overheard another staff member yelling at an elderly couple because they weren’t interested in purchasing something. The price of some of the items were cheaper in the actual Harvey Norman store next door.

We waited to be served at the counter for several minutes. Staff member infront of us did not ask if he could be of service. Very frustrating. They have end of line and box damaged goods at reasonable prices however warranty is greatly reduced.
