I had a disappointing experience with Games World. I placed an order, and the boss personally guaranteed it would be in the next day. Two weeks went by, and I hadn't heard a thing from the shop. When I finally followed up, I discovered the order had arrived—but the boss hadn't communicated with the staff or even recorded it properly. In the meantime, the item was sold to someone else. I want to emphasize that I don't blame the staff—they were polite and tried to help as best they could. But this level of disorganization and lack of communication from the boss is unacceptable. I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on, likely to Good Games or Tabletop Warfare, both of which are nearby and more reliable.

I wandered around the shop for ages , no acknowledgement from staff just walked past grunted and kept on walking . Only interested in their regular magic the gathering customers. very disappointed.

Fantastic line of alternative RPG books as well as the bib players. If you look for something special, this is the shop to go. Also, many many board games and other toys - really worth a look! The staff is also very helpful and friendly. Check it out! :)

Friendly helpful staff, who will leave you to browse in peace after you say you are just browsing. They even offered to order in a copy of a game that I mentioned offhand which was nice.

Great variety of games and knowledgeable staff!

Staff here are always awesome and seem to really enjoy what they do. Was served by Ivy recently and they were very kind. I buy a lot of gamesworld type stuff from a few different stores and prices are always comparable if not better at Gamesworld. One of my favourite places on rundle n.n

Staff do not update the website stock list. Books are not placed in alphabetical order. Staff do not respond to emails. All 3 of these things are basic customer service.

Prices aren’t competitive at all. Don’t offer or the staff aren’t aware of the end of year discount advertised on the Games World facebook. Pity as the staff are otherwise very friendly. Seems to be an issue with the company itself.

Wonderful shop , and fantastic staff the young guy who help me had clearly played the 4 games I was looking at as he could explain them all to me which was great. And the young Woman who served me at the checkout was extremely friendly and helpful . A great first time buying from this store and I will be back . Thanks Andrew

Always stocks a really impressive range of board games as well as wooden model kits, puzzles, and other fun little bits and pieces. They also have a pretty impressive case of dice as well as a bunch of DND books and figures. The staff are always really nice, happy to help but never pushy which is appreciated.

Fantastic selection of products and competitive pricing. Great customer service pre and post sale, too! I purchased online and the team, Trey in particular, was very helpful. Will purchase from these guys again in a heartbeat.

My go-to store for board games and ttrpgs. Excellent range, fair prices, attentive and friendly staff, and lots of room to browse there shelves while other customers walk past (unlike the Games World in Marion!)

Fantastic games shop with an awesome selection of games for both adults and kids. Surprisingly large selection of miniatures too. Cool chess sets and even imaginative toys for smaller kids. The staff were really friendly and helpful too. Lots to look at to entertain the little kid in all of us. Highly recommended. 😃

Great shop, with a wide range of games. High quality chess sets! I always visit here when I go to Rundle Mall to check out the chess sets. This review is specifically for the franchise. Brought a voucher online but it was for the Perth store. Voucher hasn't worked on Perth stores website, they did not accept the voucher in Adelaide store. Why are they both called games world?

Be aware that what is advertised on site might not be what you receive. I ordered 2 Rubiks cubes from the Marion store, off of their website. WHen i receieved them , they werent what was advertised - on the con note AND reciept, it said from the Gawler plc store in the Adelaide CBD. THere was no attempt to contact me to let me know of the chagne of product, nor was it listed on the website. I had to make my way in and pay for parking on my day off to exchange the items. I was told that it was Marion store mistake - yet as i said above, it was sent from the CBD store. I was shown alternatives of slightly greater value and asked if they could be discounted and was told that's the price they have them for. I was then offered cubes for the same price but less quality. I am a performer,. my props dont need to be the most expensive but certainly on stage have a decent enough quality to display and work with. A discount wouldve been sufficient for my troubles of having to correct someone elses error, drive to the store and pay for parking. I have also submitted a complaint to ACCC for their false advertising. It just makes for a massive inconvenience and was disappointed by the store.

Best part of Adelaide!! Came from Melbourne for the wiggles, stayed for Games World. Staff very friendly, have games to play, cool frog rings!! Sorry we lost ur game piece

Large variety or great games

This is my little place of joy in the city. Their stocks of boardgames and RPG books are extensive, and in cases that they do not have a game im looking for, they are willing to place an order me. They also are able to place preorders for upcoming games. Their prices are competitive and despite cheaper alternatives online, i do prefer buying from them. Their staff are friendly, are quite knoweldgeable about the games they sell, and are always willing to help you decide on what to get in case you have no idea what you want. 2022 update: now in a larger, more spacious location. More gaming fun!
