Great pub, pity they play sky news on televisions

The place is good and the front desk lady is very attentive to customers, I'm placing two stars for the food, was nothing special and precisally the pork ribs were tasting of strong chemical which resulted almost inedible. Please take this review in mind for continuous improvements. As I like this hotel, I'll back for dinner one day and I hope to change this review.

Rude and obnoxious security staffs!!!! Servicing staffs in particular the female waitresses are wonderful, very accommodating and pleasant however the male securities killed it for me . I would not revisit!

Please DO NOT stay here. My flight to Sydney was cancelled due to the weather condition, so I sent some messages of I can still cancel it, but they never answered and after a week later, they just sent me a message that “i didn’t show up and they can’t refund.” Yes, I can’t be there because my flight was “cancelled” so there’s no reasons I can be there. I wish I could know this information earlier so I could still be able to cancelled it.

New bistro - meals were excellent!

rooms were comfortable and clean . i liked how it had a mini fridge and ceiling fan. however, the tv didn’t work and there aren’t enough bathrooms. 2 toilets and 1 shower each for male + female makes things difficult. Also the toilet got clogged and neighbouring people/buildings are pretty loud. overall it was decent for the price

bistro under new management. tried ordering 7 items ended up with 4 on a saturday 7:30pm. either sold out or unavailable. not busy when i walked in with family. waited half an hour for a medium rump steak, medium scotch fillet, fish basket & bullot with sweet corn, the latter showed up after we are all done with our meal. cold chips, terribly tough dry chewy cuts, fatty & overcooked, scotch WITHOUT cap. confronted the waitress & her boss quickly returned to my table wondering if i would like to have a look at the scotch in the kitchen since i told her that i believe that is NOT a scotch. its a piece of meat from a cow that got butterflied. i said no, worrying that angry boss might turn me into his next scotch fillet lolol the floor staff came back with a sample of rump & scotch on a plate, from what i can see it was a very low quality scotch, dead lean. i wouldn't use that for stir frying let alone steak dirty tables all around. poor girl working her arxe off by herself being the cashier & everything else, she's the one & only. the boss was standing behind looking at her as if she's gonna stuff something up instead of helping, she's very apologetic since she's kinda aware of the overall situation. i feel sorry for myself tho lol what a shyt feed on a saturday night please come here if you hate money

Came with family for the weekend and was very pleased with everything. Everything is clean, cozy and very comfortable, thank you very much

The venue manager of 31th August night is the worst to deal with. She thinks she is managing her venue very smartly whereas I think she is the rudest and most unfortunate person to meet in service. Although we were in fault, but that's not how you treat a customer in you venue. I would rate that women 0 out of nothing in thus lovely industry.

Totally dedicated to gambling. There is no effort to create a social atmosphere. Everything is centred around gambling.

Cheap and good, Lots of the reviews are over reacting, stayed in the accomodation, rooms where clean and we had a nice little balcony, pub was fantastic super cheap and plenty of places to eat around and walking distance from the train station, only down side it the shared toilets but you pay for what you get! Would stay again for how cheap and good it is.

A relaxing place to stay for a short time or an extended time. It has bistro and poker machines, both smoking areas and non-smoking. A perfect place to have an evening meal, or catch up with some friends after work. Meal prices vary, with entrees, sides, and main meals. They do not serve desserts. A bar and areas for eating, televisions, horse racing venues also, and a complex betting area and electronic system.

The Campsie Hotel continues to draw in punters, on the ground floor you'll find a bar with several local beers on tap (always clear and fresh) The bar designed to facilitate a good time on your terms. Want to sit up at the bar with Pad Thia noodles and watch back-to-back NBA, Legue, NFL games? This is the best place for it. I see the Manager Adriel leading by example her staff are respectful and friendly. That's why we love it so much.

Campsie hotel is without doubt the WORST experience that I’ve ever had. The beds are absolutely filthy and infested with bed bugs!!! And if you tell the manager about this then expect a cold and unsympathetic reply! He is a total douchebag and unfit to run a hotel. Stay the hell clear of this hell hole!

Hotel is good, good bar service, staff very nice. However the wait time and organisation of the kitchen not to good at all, I got my main before entree even though I asked to have all at once, I got my entree 25 minutes after I had finished my main. The rump steak was very fatty and for the price I get better at a pub close by for cheaper for goodness sakes. We was all eating our dinner but one person at our table who didn't get theirs until we had a few bites left of all of our mains, that's not right, that's a kitchen in trouble!!!

Poor hygiene, shared amenities bathrooms and toilets, no parking, poor lighting in the rooms , dusty and smelling.

매우 오랜만에 방문했는데 레노베이션되서 깨끗하고 운영은 매끄럽지 못함. 테이블 대부분이 치워져있지않았고 손님이 대충치우고 앉았는데 직원이와서 그릇만 치워주고 테이블은 닦지않음. 음식은 깔끔하고 맛있었는데....가격은 예전에 비하면 너무 많이 올랐음.

Would not stay here again, returned to my room at 8:00pm , notice on the door renovations will commence next morning at 4.00 am , please expect loud noises, earplug’s available at the public bar, and when I complained and told them it was illegal they took no action and started renovations in the basement with jack hammers. See notice attached, room exceptionally dark, incredibly basic. Shared bathroom can be a challenge, poorly fitted out and cramped

Every time I tried to book a room there was no vacancy. Seems popular. I wanted to stay here because my partner was working nearby. A lovely quiet hotel. I've stayed in the city a couple of times in pubs and the noise was horrific. I will stay here again.

Though we did not stay the manager was very understanding and accommodating. Enough to write a good review of her service and team and wish them the best

I would strongly recommend that no-one stays at this hotel. When I arrived at 2pm, I was told the room was not ready and so I had to wait until 3.30pm to check in to my room. The room was dirty when I went into the room. The fridge was dirty as well. You do not have your own shower in the room and the shared bathroom was disgusting and unclean to shower in. The window in the room would not stay open. The room smelt of a foul odour. There were fights and arguments from people staying in other rooms until the early hours of the morning. The staff ARE INCREDIBLY RUDE and not helpful or supportive. If you ask questions or ask for help, expect them to NOT help you. They are simply not interested or have any customer service skills to assist you. One plus is the hotel is accessible to the train station (5 minute walk) and to a supermarket (3 minutes). The area is quite rough and wouldn’t recommend walking around at night. I would NEVER recommend this hotel for anyone to stay in even though it is cheap. STAY CLEAR of this place! The staff are rude and unhelpful and the rooms and bathrooms are dirty and unhygienic.

I went to a pub instead of a hotel to hang out with friends. My friend was sitting on a gaming chair and told me to leave because he wasn't playing, but the security guard assaulted him so hard that he was injured and his clothes were torn. There was a rude and ignorant security guard. The employees working here only cared for people even when they were injured. There is no apology, just employees who have not received basic training. This is the worst hotel.

It's more like casino rather than hotel but atleast good service

Fridge in room was dirty. Paint is coming off the walls. No bedside lights. Window wouldn't stay open. People were having loud arguments at 4AM. One of the shared showers doesn't work, toilet wasn't clean. Staff is nice.

Bedroom is clean, no smoking smell, outside is quiet, toilet and bathroom are also clean

WORSE HOTEL I'VE EVEN BEEN IN MY LIFE. DONT BOOK!!!!!!!!When I checked in, I saw a cockroach inside the cabinet but I cleaned that myself as I thought it's wasn't a big deal at first. I tried to sleep at 11 but till 4 o'clock I didn't have a chance to sleep as the location is facing to a big street which you will hear every car passing by. You think that seems the end? No. At about 4:15, there's a random alarm beeping for over 15 minutes and I went down to the counter and realized there's no staff. An hour later, there's another alarm beeping again for over 20 minutes this time. I spent over 3 hours talking with trip.com staff but no one can solve the issue. I booked this hotel for 3 night but I left the next day I checked in as I know I can't stay any longer. I then email and request for a refund as I'm not staying on the second and third day due to the bad experience. I took 3 videos with proof showing alarm beeping, the noisy sound surrounding my room due to car passing by but the hotel rejected my request. Even trip.com staff know it was hotel's fault but the hotel's manager Hee tell trip.com not to call and decided not to refund a single dollar even though I'm the victim and I didn't even stay on my second and third night. The altitude they provided was terrible as I told them all the issue but they didn't apologize.I know trip.com tried their best to fight my money back but remember, the decision of refund is on HOTELS end and not trip com. So if you want to book this hotel please no, pay a little bit more and book other because if theres any complain, the manager won't care/ apologize. Even if you don't stay all the days, they won't refund a single dollar.I have attached my proof so please don't ever book this hotel or you will regret.
