The barramundi is soggy and just has bad texture, the food took too long, bad service and I had a bug on my food.

I'm a regular with a big group and usually happy with the service but today the service was really bad. The bartender was extremely rude and the girl (Elaine?) so unhelpful that she actually run away to avoid helping us. Very disappointing the rudeness.

Been to this club few times. I ordered Thai beef salad., which arrived as chunks of tough meat with a drenched salad, was disgusting. Food needs to improve and this club needs to address this problem. Not the first time i have had a poor meal at this club. My friend ordered.fish and chips and paid.over $20 and the fish was uncooked . What a joke ! Am sure we are not the only ones receiving crap food. The chefs need to find themselves another job, if they cannot care about what they are serving to the members of the club. SHAME SHAME SHAME

This RSL used to be made best stake (Ram) we had order two stake with kids pizza. First of all our steaks were disgusting 🤮 I will post the pictures I took even the size was 180gram it wasn’t 300 gram at all , and also we never received the kid pizza we end up left the place . Apparently they don’t serve the same meat many of my friends stop going to this place and no matter how many times tell them about what do you want . They are to arrogant to even care about customers. I used to go twice a week . But I will never go back to this place . Also there was a girl she was working as today is 07/06/2024 she was so rude like they forced her to work black long hair girl . You are working in hospitality you have to smile you are not a lawyer . Well I don’t know if they read this comment or not . You guys need to change a really good change people wants to come for food not everyone like gambling

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Canley Vale RSL Club with my wife, Loredana, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Despite the ongoing renovations, the club has managed to maintain an ambiance that rivals some of Sydney's finest dining establishments. The meal began with an exquisite starter of buffalo wings and a chicken Caesar salad. The wings were perfectly crispy with a rich, tangy sauce, while the salad was a masterful blend of fresh, crisp greens, chicken, anchovies, egg, and extra sauce. The flavors were perfectly balanced and mind-bogglingly good. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the salmon plate. The fish was cooked to perfection, with a delicate, flaky texture and a flavor profile that was both sophisticated and deeply satisfying. I genuinely felt as though I could have been dining at one of Sydney's top-tier restaurants. The facilities, despite the renovations, were immaculate. The restroom facilities were so pristine that I momentarily forgot I was at an RSL club, feeling instead like I had stepped into the luxurious surroundings of the Ritz Carlton. The staff played a crucial role in enhancing the overall experience. Natalia, in particular, stood out with her impeccable service, intuitively knowing when and where to deliver our meals, adding a personalized touch that is rare to find. Jillian also impressed us with her willingness to go the extra mile, offering to fetch our drinks even though we had brought our own water. To top it all off, Barbara, the HR manager, personally brought us our coffee. The level of care and attention to detail was unbelievable. All of this for a remarkably reasonable $70, which included multiple courses and dessert. The value for such high-quality dining is outstanding, making the Canley Vale RSL Club a must-visit. Loredana and I will undoubtedly be returning soon, as this hidden gem provides an unparalleled dining experience that deserves to be savoured.

Always great food

We had dinner at the bistro tonight & were plesantly surprised with the quality of the meals, the chicken scallopine was good with char grilled pieces of chicken breast toped with a scallopine sauce,i enjoyed the mushrooms in the sauce, i opted to change the veg & mash to salad & chips, the salad was well seasoned & a liberal amount of dressing appiled which i enjoy personally. We had the chicken bites special as an entree but these came out after our main was served, they were cooked fine but the inside was not quiet what we were expecting more like mini chicken kiev balls which we did not enjoy. My husband had the seafood basket which was visually impressive with a tortilla type crusted bowel, filled with the usual calamari & chips, there were 2 x prawn skewers that were grilled fresh as well as 2 scallops in their shells. Overall we were enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere at the club on a Wednesday night.

Fantastic offering, stopped in and had the Sizzling Mongolian Beef and it is a must have! Came out so quickly aswell, great service. Thanks again

The first I been to this club. The staff are all very friendly. Joining to be a mber is also cheap. A lot of parking space and there is for wheelchairs accessories

Surprisingly good food for a small club. Puts some of the other clubs in the area to shame. Food came out really quick and all eight orders where deelish. Definitely will be back.

The canley heights rasl & sporting club has a fantastic outdoor dining area, very very busy during lunch time, it currently running some food specials for members and kids bingo program. You can join one year membership for $3. Get one free hot drink, one free soft drink, one free hot garlic bread, also buy one main meal and a second meal free between Monday to Thursday, and use them in 2 weeks time after joining. They also have lunch specials going on starting at 11:30am everyday. You can choose a meal from salmon fillet, beef burger, half roasted chicken, beef lasagne, 150g scotch filet with garlic prawn, creamy basil pesto penne pasta, beer battered flathead fillet $14.5 member, and $17.5 visitor. They also have kids special meals and kids special lunch meals.

They have great value coupons for members, so it’s worth signing up, even if you’re not local. The meals were a great size and are served very quickly. Will definitely be going back.

Nice and quiet place with less lounges I believe that the area for gaming is bigger than the area for sitting, that’s y only negative comment.
