Really love this Cashies, my favourite store hands down.

Got a mower from webshop. Said 4 of 5 star condition and mulching plate battery etc. Was heavily worn faded and in abused condition, black paint was so faded it left smudges when touched, more like 2 star not 4 of 5. And the mulcher plate was a side discharge. They were rude and made out like it was my fault for the misleading/incorrect description. Shopped there a few times previous but never again.

Would’ve loved to buy some headphones but after waiting 15 minutes just for someone to unlock the cabinet so I can inspect them I decided it really wasn’t worth it. Very disappointed as I had a similar experience in the buys and loans the other day as they didn’t know I was there while they were at the back. Needs to be sorted asap.

I purchased a virtual reality headset from this establishment, only to discover that it was defective. I attempted to return the item for a replacement, but the business refused to honor the 90-day warranty stated on the sales receipt. They insisted that the headset be sent to a third party for clearance before a refund could be issued. Given this experience, I would advise against purchasing electronics from this establishment as their quality control processes appear to be lacking.

Don't buy from here! Especially electronics equipment!!! THEY ONLY GIVE ONE DAY WARRANTY!!!! Very poor service I purchased recently a subwoofer online of which i had 24 hours to drive from Mansfield to Brown's plains to pick it up and test it. 10 days ago when i took it home it wasn't working I brought it back because I was told it had 30 day warranty and I was refused to even exchange this product for something worth more and I was going to spend more of this shop have spent a lot of money with cash converters in the past will not be spending any more money with cash converters in the future in particular this Brown's plains store very bad to do business with. $40 wasted not to mention my time wasted what am I supposed to do with this $40 faulty sub they seem to sell a lot of faulty items it's happened before. I don't recommend getting any electronics or any electrical or anything else from this store for that matter

Matt is an absolute retail legend and I hope others get to experience the authenticity of his high level customer service! Browns plains cashies is also an excellent cash converters establishment to go to and I believe they are definitely worth the trek out too get a bargain. I will definitely shop again! Thanks guys

First time I bought from this place, they took a good two days to even make the postage label, then finally posted towards the end of the third day, and the controller I ordered didn’t work. Returned it, took a call to them several days after the AusPost tracking said it had made it back to get my refund. Second time ordering, ordered express postage, order was made on Friday morning, postage label was not made until very late on Monday, despite being open all through the weekend, package still hasn’t been posted. Im sure that the in store experience might be better, but something needs to improve in the handling of online orders from this particular cashies.

They have a short old lady in there that doesn't know anything and needs to be retrained. I come in to get out a item, I had the original ticket for it and she tells me No, sorry your partner needs to be the one to get it out as he put it in. Just to go pick my partner up and to be told by a different guy that I actually was allowed to pick it up and that this lady doesn't usually work that side of the store. Well isn't it common for all staff to be trained in all areas? Worst cashies out. Logan Central is better than here.

They scam customers. I bought a Magic Keyboard and the keys were making sticky noises. I asked for refund under warranty and they refused and said I was lying.

Not even worth one star. I went to go giving my TV to cash it in and they only gave me $15. It was a brand-new TV and I had to sell it to get money for food, and I am very disappointed with this service

I enjoy shopping in this store. The jewellery lady is very helpful they have a great range.

The website says open at 9am, walked in just after 9am the door opened only to be told by the workers inside they open at 10am, change your website then! Disappointed

This is the Cashies store to go if you want a bargain! Big range of items and large store. The best part is the store always marks items down and you can score stupidly good deals!

Had an issue with this store. My partner lost her job due to Covid closing places. So I needed money quick to fix her car so she could look for work. I used my music equipment to do a quick loan. I had one more payment on the loan of around $90. I went to go and pay it, but due to a public holiday, the payment fell on that date and the store was close. Roughly a couple days later, a family member got sick and we had to go away quickly. I contacted the store to say I would pay when I got back. They said that was fine. Came back and items were sold. I was very upset as one item was rare.

Purchased a camera online and couldnt be happier. Condition was immaculate and better than expected. Item was very carefully packaged for shipping and all my questions were answered very promply.

Rip off merchants. Selling used items with pieces missing at higher than RRP. A set of Kincrome E torx in store yesterday at $62 missing one socket. RRP is $52.95 new, with all sockets. Cash converters used to be worthwhile. I shopped their regularly. Now it's just an overpriced junk shop. I've left empty handed the past year or more due to above happenings.

I rang and spoke to a female staff member, who advised me I would be able to bring particular items in, for me to drive down, ger here, lug it in, to than ve told at the buys & lands counter that you don't take these items. I am not happy at all. For this particular staff member to walk around apparently asking the staff for them to say they didn't. I am not happy at all with this! Was a huge waste of my time & fuel!

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE purchased an electrical item and it didn't work, when I was at the cash register I was standing there for 25 minutes before someone served me and actually acknowledged my existence. DO NOT GO HERE.

Customer service is atrocious, stood at the camera displays for 25 min and not a single employee offered any type of assistance... many walked by me, a few stood within close proximity having a private conversation about their weekend plans. I eventually interrupted one and asked for assistance and the foul look on her face made my mind up to leave and shop elsewhere. BROWNS PLAINS CASH CONVERTERS don't deserve our patronage

Dreadful customer service!! Walked into retail, 2 staff members standing at counter, yapping about what they were gonna do at weekend, couldn't even acknowledge me with a hello!! I get that it's Friday arvo but a hello wouldn't go amiss. I have spent alot on jewellery in this store too! But oh well it is browns plains I guess, can't expect too much!

Fantastic Stocked store. Far better than other ones I have visited. Very competitive prices and the 50% off cabinet always has interesting items.

I came into this store with a friend to pawn some jewellery a few weeks ago. My experience here has left a deep impression on my mind. The entire building reeks of poverty and desperation. Upon entering , we were greeted by the view of a dishevelled gentlemen, desperately trying to pawn off his obviously used dyson vacuum cleaner. The poor immigrant worker, who clearly regretted all his life choices, was trying to negotiate a reasonable price, in vain. Pawned Jewellery is extremely under valued, but if your selling your jewellery at cash converters your probably on your last legs anyways. Nice aircon

Custom service is poor.

Can get good bargains at Cashies some times. Only handy to purchase from. Buy rate's and loan on goods are so low that it's almost laughable, unless you are the one selling. Handy I suppose if you are desperate for some cash in a emergency. DO NOT take jewellery there to sell, EVER. You will only be offered 10-15% of what it's worth and then they proceed to sell it with a mark up of 200-300%

I understand your trying to do your job but common trying to offer a loan $120 on a ring thats valued at $3500 is plain sight robbery maybe try learning abit more about jewellery?

No customer service at all company needs to retrain some of those employees how to greet and serve customers 4 peaple standing behind a counter and not one says hello🤔 never mind ill just go about my day and spend my money in another store😊

never buy anything here without thoroughly testing it first they knowingly sell faulty / broken goods on a regular basis in the hopes customers cant be bothered to bring them back. i bought coffee machine & it had stripped thread on the steam wand end. found out 4th time i used it another major fault inside. took back but warranty had expired . they had an identical machine but wouldnt even give me a discount if i bought it as part compensation.. staff had bad attitude as well. also pretty much everything is new price or more.. one example ozito impact driver $69 in cash converters $49 bunnings

Overpriced second hand stuff - I can't believe people actually buy things from here! I saw power tools that had been heavily used for sale at roughly the same price a new tool would cost. (Pay $40 for a second hand angle grinder that costs $40 new - what a bargain!)

Over priced second hand product, most staff are very lovely, however pray that your item isn't faulty as they will try their best to not honour their warranty, also do not by their portable air conditioners as the staff will knowingly sell you faulty items
