I made a online enquiry, I asked if item was negotiable, was told items that are negotiable are the ones that are not wanted by anyone, I dealt with Krystian, definitely a stay away shop, I've bought through other cash converters webshop they were quite nice very smart business people, i really cannot believe i was told straight up items they only discount are the ones no ones wants. Unbelievable service.

We drove there all the way to get a TV that is shown to be in stock on the website. The staff told us that the TV was actually in Cranbourne so we went to Cranbourne cash converter. Cranbourne staff then told us that they got the TV but the remote was in Frankston. It is incredibly disappointing that the staff didn't check and a lot of time has been wasted... Probably our last purchase from cash converters

Absolutely hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had in any business. And I’ve had some bad experiences over the years. I went to buy goods and made a fair offer. The manager was not willing to negotiate on any level at all on a $1,200 item. No worries, I don’t expect that you’ll get negotiation every time. Then I was happy to pay the $1,200, realizing there was going to be no negotiation, which is disappointing but understandable. The part that completely ruined the deal was the fact that he proceeded to come out of his office and be extremely aggressive, rude, condescending, and insulting to the point where a customer told the manager to just calm down and that there was no need to be so aggressive. His behavior was absolutely disgusting. If I could give a negative star report, I would. People like him should not be working around other humans; you wouldn’t talk to a dog the way that he speaks to his customers. I really sincerely hope that the owner of this Cash Converters goes back, reviews the video footage from the 17th of January at around 9:15 AM, and sees the way that his manager leads his staff and the example that he sets for them. I hope he acts accordingly. And if by some miracle you’re able to see this review, I would love for you to reach out and tell me whether you think that is an acceptable way to talk to people.

This cash converters is packed with so many power tools and bike gear, there is a massive range of TVs and sound systems as well, recommended for Christmas upgrades for sure, staff super respectful and friendly

I went to Cash Converters for the first time in a few years and I must say the store at Frankston is no longer my choice to sell items. Although most of the goods were sitting at home not being used, I was only offered a paltry amount for equipment in good condition. I spent a whole hour at the store and it was hardly worth taking everything back home. I would recommend people look at other buy and sell stores as you will probably get more money.

Probably the worst customer experience I’ve ever had . No knowledge from staff just plain down right rude . The word customer service is non applicable. Almost to the point of violence. Who ever is running this store needs to take the floor manager down a few notches . Anyways my business is gone ….i hope the boss reads this and fix’s this as it has good products just with a ton of attitude from rude salesman the guy serving me was cool the other was a freak

The manager of this store is a perfect example of how not to be in retail. A patronising know it all. The other staff member I dealt with was fine. My suggestion is that the other staff learn to do the opposite of what the manager does.

Hayley, the young lady at the counter provided excellent customer service and was able to help with all the queries I had while I browsed their wide selection of pre loved goods. this store provided excellent customer service and some great bargains, would defiantly recommend for anyone who is considering a pre-loved item to go have a quick stop into the cashies at Frankston.

Had a brilliant experience at cash converters, employee Otis was helpful, knowledgeable and extremely charismatic. Whoever is in charge of hiring has done incredibly well to find such a diligent respectful young man. Will be returning in the near future.

Don’t bother! Attended store this morning with my son. We both saw 2 rings we like (1each). Upon entering store young lady behind counter quickly commented “I have just marked all rings down by 20%) First ring I liked and tried on was too big. I commented many times “I do love this but it’s to big. The ring was put away nothing said from lady behind counter (don’t cash converters offer resizing??) There was a ring I really liked, fitted perfectly. I did ask if they had layby, reply yes with 20% deposit. I confirm the price is less 20%? The reply “oh no this ring is already heavily reduced, I will get paperwork out to show you original price and valuation.” Well I must say if the original price is what I was told, there is no wondr it’s been in their cabinet since August 2021 🤭. My son got his ring out it fitted he was interested. I ask “can you negotiate?” “Oh no, we have already heavily reduced for end of financial year.” To bad Cash Converters Frankston we had the $ ready to buy and you lost the sale for a couple thousand dollars. Why would we come back when all the other Cash Converters have always come to a negotiation, provided service and APPRECIATES THE BUSINESS!

Claimed my valuation certificate was fake and said he had years of experience with certificates. Clearly not if you can’t tell what’s real. Low ball offer on a $7000 ring. Definitely not desperate enough to sell it for $300

False advertising entices u into this RIP OFF shop. They cover the operation by giving u a loan when u explicity say u want to sell it. False advertising is against the law i was lead to believe . The advertised price was still $5.00 less than other advertised prices but to go in there and be told it was $20.00 a total of $13.00 less than other advertised prices was astounding when i questioned this i was told it was a franchise and how they had to cover all their overheads. Oh yes by misrepresentation ripping off the vulnerable as richer peeps arent selling there gold to survive . They are in a great position as where else do u go and they exploit it they cover themselves by putting it in as a loan which i had explicity stated it wasnt . A treachorous store one can only imagine has PROFIT at all costs at its core . Why can they be allowed to trade and continually rip off the vulnerable with FALSE ADVERTISING. They are crooks. They purchased a set of golf clubs paying $600 for the SET and are selling the irons as a set for $895 and the woods and putter individually. Because the woods and putter devalue the complete set. When confronted the manager said its unusual, no its unlawful. Also they have a bike for sale for $795, I haggled for a better price and was offered a $5 discount. On over inspection the frame has been cracked and a repair job attempted. You can not repair carbon fibre bikes, once cracked they worthless. They obviously aware of this as the usual 3 month faulty return policy does not apply to this item. They make the consumer pay for their incompetence and break the second hand trading laws.

They look up any items price and litterlay offer you 25% so they can sell it for 75% on the market... don't bother sell your stuff on gumtree

I went once to sell my air compressor which I used only once on a project didn't use it since so I go will go there and sell it better than taken a space in my house, anyway went there their is a guy with long hair looks on something came out start talking to me and offered me $25 for it🤣 which I bought it for $870 and still like new with everything came with it.anyway me walking off saying no thanks I will keep it he starts laughing at me and said no one will buy it anyway. He makes me feel like I really need the money 🤣 fml they are joke honestly.

Went into the Frankston store and made an offer on an item of $145.00 which was $20.00 off ticket price,which i thought was fine as the item was only in fair condition.Needless to say it wasn't accepted so went and ordered the same item new online for only $60.00 more with free postage. l see no need to go back into this store again with such an outdated, inflexible retail/business model which is still in the pre -covid pre -internet 'good old days'. As a person who was a regular customer with no debts who would buy on a regular basis i feel i am not the only who has moved to buying online because of experiences such as this. ln hindsight am i glad they didn't accept my offer? This store is quite dishonest and sneaky Over the years I've purchased a few consoles and had controllers that didn't work and when I tried to resolve the issues I get called a scammer / liar trying to swap over a defective controller to get a working controller ( as if I'd ever try that ) The worst case that has happened is when I got a nintendo switch ( the improved battery life model ) they had $325 on the price tag and I took a look they mentioned it was the launch model however I pointed out it was the newer model and they said I could get it at the stickered price however it won't have a warranty and if I didn't buy it they'd just put the price up Just don't buy consoles from this store they'll sell lemons that need something replaced at your expense

Recently bought a drum cymbal at this store. The bloke was nice in offering a negotiation with us (considering that the cymbal was in questionable condition), but the older woman at the counter was anything but. After offering us the cymbal at $55 with a warranty or $50 without, she then retracted the offer after talking to her supervisor, even having the audacity to question our intentions, assuming that we'd then return the cymbal the following day (her rationale for questioning us was due to us simply pointing out that the cymbal was in poor condition), despite any implication of us planning to do so. Additionally, her way of negotiating was to wave the cymbal in front of us, condescendingly saying 'well I'll just put this away then' because we were unsure on whether to purchase it or not. Keep in mind, this encounter took little over five minutes, three of which she spent chatting to her manager. I understand that people have bad days and aren't always at their best, but to question our intentions was way out of line.

Purchased an item online that was located at this shop. I personally came to pick up the item, and found something else that I was interested in that was very well priced. They even threw in a toy free for my 3 year old that I brought along. Still happy with my purchase, and saved a lot of money for what I needed. Thanks!

Manager very rude and would not budge one cent off labelled price. When i asked him if he could discount item he got very angry at me. Very unfriendly. Worst cashies ever! Turned out ok there are 3 other shops. 1 of them wanted my 100 dollars at least and got a great deal a few doors up!

For a franchise store this ticks the right boxes in my mind to be honest. This is certainly WELL STOCKED, THE PRICES ARE DECENT. The Service is ACE, there webshop is decent with online customer service. It's a winner all around when I was in the store I found a diamond in the rough 360fly camera certainly can't wait to go back Staff has changed a bit but the service is still awesome prices are reasonable and they are always willing to negotiate with you, Greg rocks to be honest he is really a pleasure to deal with via webshop
