Tasty bistro food at the clubhouse with very friendly service.

The Leura Golf Club Bistro served really nice food. We were seated at the corner near the window which had a nice view. There was colouring drawings and crayons for kids to play. People were nice and friendly and the food was good.

Old school golf club restaurant With fun activities like trivia. Food is absolutely delicious at wonderful prices. Great for the kids to be allowed and Playing. Thanks to the team for looking after our service dogs and our family while having dinner. Staff extremely attentive. Shout out to Nick for all the great food!

The fish and chips were a little overcooked. But the ambience and outlook were great.

Note this is for the ambience at the Bistro, not the food. We are staying at the Fairmont and originally had a reservation at Embers. After reading negative reviews of Embers, we were concerned and booked a “reservation” at the Bistro. Since the hotel told us the Bistro required a reservation, we were expecting a restaurant with table service. We walked over and you order from the counter and sit in cafeteria style tables. Not what we were expecting. We went back to Embers and were able to get our original reservation and had a lovely experience. No idea why a reservation was required to order at the counter.

Course very ordinary for the price. Staff friendly. People driving across greens. Let you decide....

Have a really happy experience here. I like it here for it’s old style club house and quiet fun golf course.Especially the warmly and friendly staffs and manger.Definitely will come back next time when I visit Leura.

Medium steak was well done mushroom sauce was dishwater terrible atmosphere don’t waste your time

We had drinks and dinner at the bistro and played pokies later. The lady at the bar Yurila was amazing. She was working all night by herself, as they were short staffed. Yurila provided top service to everyone and would acknowledge everyone who was waiting. Top marks for her. The food at the bistro was also great and staff there.

Excellent course. Great views of the blue mountains. Greens were in very good condition. Staff at the pro shop were friendly and very helpful.

A Serene Golfing Experience Close to Nature We recently visited Leura Golf Club, and it’s truly a hidden gem for golf lovers seeking a peaceful, nature-filled environment. Surrounded by stunning landscapes and the fresh mountain air, this course offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Although we didn’t play golf this time, the serene atmosphere and beautifully maintained course left us eager to return for a round. The peacefulness of the Blue Mountains, combined with the breathtaking views, make it an ideal spot to enjoy a game. Leura Golf Club is definitely a must-visit for golfers looking to unwind and connect with nature. We can’t wait to come back and fully experience everything this tranquil place has to offer!

Really enjoyed this course. Played front 9 and back 9 on consecutive evenings while staying at the Fairmont. Back 9 is more interesting but layout of holes is generally very good, relatively open so even bad shots are generally still in play. Fairways were ready for some growth after winter but greens were in superb condition, true and plenty quick. A lovely course I'd happily play again, and the bloke in the pro shop was very friendly.

We held our function at the Leura Golf club on the weekend, the team were fantastic and very accommodating. Especially Sarah the manager.

Fantastic golf course with breathtaking view of Blue Mountains, especially at Hole 14, their signature hole. Great greens. Staffs at the Pro Shop were friendly & helpful. Bookings were easy, all done online. Shout out to the staff at The Pro Shop.

Most enjoyable resort in the Blue Mountains. It is set up to satisfy either young and adults

Chicken wings where more like chicken nuggets cheese burger was not that good wife's spaghetti was bland with minimal vegetables chips with the burger was the best thing 1 out of 10 at best Gingerbeer was the best thing

Great course with amazing views and lovely staff

I played Leura in May and had a great time. The course was impressively manicured, the people at the proshop were so helpful, and my day was super fun. I also stayed at the Fairmont, which was most comfortable and an easy walk to the golf club. Ask for Chris he was the best,attention to detail.

Just dined at the bistro and needed to leave this review, the team in addition to the chef has done an incredible job, the food was amazing faultless and on point, ordered a steak and it came out perfect well versus two nights earlier we dined at the resorts restaurant ordered a $120 steak which was not edible and lacked flavour

Better steak than the $120 steak at embers inside the fairmont hotel. At least they offered us an actuall sauce with our steak rather than bbq sauce with a $120 steak at embers. The ladies working were lovely and the chef Nick was on his own servicing the whole kitchen on a busy school holiday Sunday night.

Nice view on some holes. Fairway is a typical country golf course. Layout is challenging. Pro shop is extremely nice and friendly. Will be back soon.

I've been playing here for years and was a member when I lived local. The course is in the best condition I've seen. Fairways rolled well and the greens are some of the best I've played on. Josh in the Pro shop was incredibly helpful and friendly and is a great addition to the staff!

Came here on holidays with my kids. Waited 1hr 10mins for our food while others that came after us got their food first and they got complimentary ice cream and cheese cake.... we got nothing. Fish skin was soo salty we couldn't eat and spent over $110 and now going to woolies to get noodles. Kids couldn't go to the pool now coz we waited so long for our food and facilities closes at 9pm. Won't be coming again

Great place for a few rounds of golf absolutely beautiful views while playing had to take a few pics while we were out there even has a beautiful hotel to stay at if you want to make a weekend out of it great place to take family friends partners

Lovely course! Magnificent views

The staff is nice and the steak my husband order was decent. One of the chef had a long beard and kept touching it while preparing food. That really put me off. The pasta in the kid meal lack sauce and seasoning. It does come with a huge slice of garlic bread so this was our son’s meal. Overall if you have nowhere else to eat, it’s convenient but quality and cleanliness improvements are needed.

Nice golf course greens are reasonably fast. Course is well maintained.

Yet to explore. First visit was nice and easy. They need to have a driving range.

The food was incredible. We were staying at the Fairmont resort across the road and walked over for dinner since we couldn't get food the first night as the restraunts were booked out and they had no room service. The food was so good we went back the next day for lunch and a couple of cocktails. The cocktail special was really nice. We tried a couple of the specials for dinner and some appetisers for lunch, and every dish was delicious. The staff was absolutely amazing. There was a large group or several families that had arrived shortly before us, so we had a pretty long wait for food, but that wasn't the staffs fault. The large group of adults and small children were awful, and we felt so bad for the staff and other patrons. Several tables moved into the bar area or left to get away from this large group. They let their children run around the club like it was a jungle gym, not a golf club. One of the adults got rude with the bartender when she asked them to get their children to quit running around. The staff did their best to accommodate the customers and were so apologetic. I have never seen children acting this way in a restraunt, and the adults never once tried to get the kids to quiet down or sit down. They were rolling around on the floor, yelling and running circles around the place. The rudest group of people I have ever witnessed the staff did their best under the circumstances, and they handled the situation they best they could.

A little disappointed, fairways were very ordinary.Greens were good but not as lush as I remembered it a few years back.Awesome.clubhouse and cheap.membership so worth a look.

Played on 5th Dec 22, The course is in great condition’ Challenging Par70 ! Greens are in great nick. Highly recommend too grab some golfing buddies and enjoy a game or two.

Enjoyed playing this parkland style type golf course. It provided a number of challenges through various hazards but the fluculating prevailing winds played havoc on a number of holes. The fairways were in reasonable condition and the greens were a little bumpy on the day. From what I could see, the practice facilities consisted of a putting green and practice nets. I look forward to playing this golf course again on a less windy day.

Great food and friendly service. Would highly recommend if you are visiting Leura, and particularly if you're staying at Fairmont as it's right next door. The food is heaps better at the golf club.

Bad reception, average food, good service

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE HALF A STAR I WOULD!!! This has nothing to do with the golf course it’s self. This is just relating to Bistro and food. After waiting no less the 1 and a half hours we received our food which was quite mediocre at best! When asking why we were waiting for such a period of time on a quiet night the response was “that we hadn’t gotten to it yet we are busy”. I found this quite humerus as when looking around there were hardly any people there anyway and they all had Meals in front of them when I had ordered. Would just recommend dining in the Fairmont resort. Everything we had there was excellent.

Tough layout but a nice challenge

Played a few weeks ago after heavy rains and got the cart bogged. Called the club and the pro and assistant came and we trouble shooted getting the cart back on dry land. After the round I offered them a $50 tip for their help but they declined. Helpful staff.

Very good place club

The food and prices were great, only problem was that they lost my table booking, can be confusing first time trying to find where you are meant to park and where the bistro is.

Golf course is lovely but do not eat dinner at the bistro on Thursday trivia night unless you like a 2 and half hour wait for really badly cooked food. They cant cope with large numbers of people and when we returned our frozen fish fillet which was still raw in middle the staff couldn't even process a card refund. They wanted us to wait for another? I think not. Next time we will stick to eating in the Fairmont Resort. Its a shame, we will play the course again which was very enjoyable and scenic, but never again eat in the clubhouse.

Bar service was initially non existent then not as friendly as it could have been

A really nice course situated in an incredible environment. The course is diverse and hilly with many unique trees unlike most in the Sydney area. The fairways tend to be in great condition except on rare occasions. Has some great potential in the future too.

This was an amazing experience for our family and for our friends with children. We stayed at the Fairmont and went over to the Golf club to be greeted with such warm welcome and a great spirit, President Jock. Thanks so much for your kindness and hospitality. We had a day we will never forget riding the golf buggies with our children through the beautiful natural landscape. Jock you are very much appreciated. Can't wait to come back and play putt putt with the kids one day.
