Friendly staff and great experience

I brought my compact (Mini-ITX) PC to have more RAM installed, although it took some time, but I'm really content with the customer service they provided & they completely assured that my PC will be fine in their hands, and everything went well! Highly recommended!

A most impressive business. As an older person challenged by technology, I can walk into Centre Com Elsternwick without any trepidation and with complete confidence that I will be looked after. I did 'shop around' prior, that was a waste of time. Center Com exceeded expectations of service (and patience!) Daniel and George could not be more helpful and I very much appreciate their knowledgeable and polite approach.

Ive been using George and his team for several years now to resolve all my IT issues. I run a small business and when things go wrong I need them fixed quickly. Twice they have helped me recover data I thought was lost. If you are in the bayside area and need IT help these are the guys believe me. Always cheerful, helpful and very knowledgeable.

Terrible service, put my pc in to the shop more than 5 times and the problem was still there, made me wait an excruciatingly long time for pickup and resulted in making my computer even slower somehow. Do not go here.

Took my ASUS laptop in for repair with a blue screen startup BIOS issue. Gets returned with a blown motherboard and now no way of being able to salvage it. Don’t take your stuff in here for repairs!!!

Went to Centre Com Elsternwick with my old lap top which was running quite slow, I spoke to George who performed extensive diagnostics on my machine before to make sure the machine didn't just need a service before advising me that it would need to be upgraded. We discussed the costs of upgrading my existing machine before looking at the options available for new lap tops that would suit my businesses needs. I decided to purchase a new lap top and could not be happier with my decision. Centre Com even offer an additional service where information can be moved from your existing computer to your new one to ensure you can hit the ground running. They can also provide consultations to provide advice on IT security and data storage for small businesses. Thanks Centre Com Elsternwick, I will definitely be returning and recommending you in future.

Fantastic service! Brought my laptop for a repair, paid $70 to look at it upfront and when reassembling the laptop back the issue was gone. They did return my laptop that is now working perfectly fine without charging extra fee. Very honest! Thank you Mitch!

A massive massive thank you to Mike and the team who recovered my external harddrive, they managed to restore almost everything in a 11year old 4TB WD harddrive. Thank you so much for trying so hard, I had a big cry when I managed to find photos of deceased family members that I thought I would never see again. I was ready to fork out over a thousand dollars because that was what the WD's official partner business quoted me, but it was only $75 for initial diagnostic + $195 for additional retrieval efforts cos it was a harder job, and they helped me order in the new harddrive with free delivery. You guys are incredible, and so lovely and helpful.

Long-standing business in the community - have been around since I moved to the area over 5 years ago and turns out from talking with one of the staff members they’ve actually been there for over 20 years! Very trustworthy.

Pleasant experience

TLDR - Helpful and great guys to deal with. Full version... This afternoon I went to install a NVME drive that came as a promotion just after xmas. In opening up the PC I found that the standoff screw/post for fixing the drive in place was stuck in the wrong spot, and I didn't have a spare. Called their local store to see if they had a spare, they found a part that would do the job. Turned up and was handed the bit, I asked how much and they just said... no charge. So good to have helpful people still in the local area and who care about their customers.

I reallt cannot recommend Centre Com Elsternwick enough. My RTX3060 failed unexpectedly and so I looked for a repair store with decent reviews. I met George at Centre Com Elsternwick who was eager to figure out what had gone wrong and hopeful that his team could find a solution. George encouraged me to contact the supplier of my PC who fired back alot of questions. George answered everything required then sent my 3060 back to the supplier on my behalf. George fielded numerous emails throughout the assessment and repair of the graphics card then reinstalled upon its return. The total cost of all this freight, assistance and emails was just $45! A new graphics card would have been 1.5k easily. All I did throughout was drop my computer off then pick it up once it was fixed. The Centre Com team were helpful, professional and achieved a great outcome for me. Really can't recommend them enough.

Excellent service

I have recently had a couple of issues with my laptop. I took it to Centre Com in Elsternwick and on both occasions they solved my issues on the spot. Contrast this with my previous experience with the Clayton store where I had to stand in a queue for about an hour and my laptop was sent away for repair. On both occasions I was without my computer for over a week. I couldn’t recommend the Elsternwick store highly enough.

Good communication. Up front with labour cost and charges. Friendly and professional.

Had what I needed. Staff were knowledge and helpful.

I only recently heard about this company when needing help with a PC issue that another company couldn't solve. Their prices are excellent, their service even better. They set expectations and keep to the and communicate extremely well. I know where I will go next for my PC needs, CentreCom. They are excellent!

Exceptional service from George and the team. Enquired about a 8 pin pcie replacement cable for my psu. Not only did George take the time but also provided these for free out of good will. Very happy. This is what any business should strive towards. Personalised service like this hard to come by today.

I highly recommend CC Elsternwick. This is the second time that i have been to their store and their customer service and product knowledge have been outstanding. On this occasion I looked up their website for a particular product, called up the store, got Peter on the line, asked him various questions about similar products and the required interfaces (cables etc). Peter was very knowledgeable and provided me with everything that I needed, in one transaction. He made me an appointment for the next day that I could come in and collect the purchases, they were ready and waiting. Good customer service and fantastic product knowledge, I will return to this store for another purchase.

The first guy looked at my pci-e card and told me it was full pci and he couldn't help me. I came back a short time later and spoke to a much more helpful guy but id been stuffed around already.

Good for advice and cheaper than most

I have been a long-standing client of this store. Previously customer service was excellent. Unfortunately the current staff at this store are unfriendly and don’t respect client loyalty. Although George is great - when he is not present you really luck out. Today after being confronted by the animosity of the staff in store I literally walked out abandoned my purchase and went straight to JB Hi Fi where I received great customer service, bought the same products at cheaper prices. Sad to say farewell to Centre Com but this is a competitive market and customer service makes all the difference.

Small store with not a huge inventory but they are a part of a large chain of stores and they are very friendly and helpful. If you need it, they can get it.

Really good. Whilst I was there they kindly fixed my phone too for no extra charge - I had not kept up with several Google updates and was shut out of my Uber account. I could not, for the life of me, have worked that out.

Had a great price on a laptop no one else had in stock, got it quickly and without hassle. They also had a nice selection of bits and pieces inside the shop. Staff didn't talk much, exactly what you want at a computer shop as I'm not there to fuss about and make friends.

Don’t go here, they do not accept returns after giving out terrible advice. I went in wanting one thing and got talked into buying something else. It didn’t work or do what it was meant to do so I took it back the next day with a receipt and the original packaging and they would not accept it. The sales assistant pointed to a sign saying no returns due to Covid-19 and then tried to sell me something else. This return was because I was given the wrong advice by the sales assistant, not because I simply changed my mind, also if you are concerned about the possible spread of Covid-19 on your products you should not be open. These new return rules you have created are illegal.

Came in here with my suspected damaged power supply and these guys tested it and made sure I was able to get a replacement part quickly. Goo service and nice staff.

Quick service, i called ahead to check product stock and friendly staff were very helpful. Good enough prices for basics, and for a small retailer it's serviceable enough.

Went there to get my cable, it says available on the website but when I got there.. Nothing. It's disappointing because I travel a long way, but yea. Service? Not the same experience with the one in Abbotsford, the staff there was awesome. Here, they just told me the cable is not available and that's it. No help at all. Wouldn't recommend Centre Com Elsternwick to anybody.

Didn't have the part I wanted, the guy said they were basically a service centre. I recommend you call them first to see if they have what you want. I guess I am too used to the Sunshine store which has pretty much everything you want.

Competitive prices, suburb centred and good stock in the system. A 3m DVI cable wasn't in the store but it arrived in a couple of days. Notification was omitted, but there it was.
