Service good. Food very poor. Cheese burger patty was over cooked and hard. Steak was so burnt on the outside it was hard to taste the meat. Was very unfortunate. As the venue has potential.

Great meal specials, well priced from $12. Cold beer and good atmosphere. Dog friendly if you want to park outside around the tables.

Everything was great we go here all the time except since they changed the garlic bread the garlic bread doesn't have no where near enough garlic or butter on it so if they could change it to the old way that would be way nicer

Great weekday specials that are good value. Quality can be a little hit and miss, I had the chicken schnitty for $14. It was a little oily from the cooking process and came with chips and salad. A great local for the Richmond area.

My friends and I have always joked, this place is ideal to go for a Drink (or few) and have Public Transport literally a stone's throw away. Had a few afternoon Beers 🍻 watching the RAAF planes take off, and just soak in the sun. Heaps of seating options, food looked really good (will be back to try) and service was fast, attentive and really friendly.

A great impromptu lunch ! We were thrilled to watch the planes at the RAAF base taking off, so close & so exhilaratingly noisy. A lot of heat coming from the roof in the outside area.. Food was 10/10 Lunch special $12❗❗❗

My three sons , one a toddler and i just had a horrible experience with a staff member having lunch today. This lady older lady on the heavy side with long grey hair in a pony tail. My 3 year old son had a drink from another company. She wanted it removed empty . We ask if we could have two minutes and we will put it in the rubbish. She was very rude and said no. I said its only two minutes he almost done. As the poor kid was sipping it down as quickly as possible. She was very aggressive and immediately took all the food away from us. Removing the pizza my teenage was eating. And told my children and i to leave. I ask for my money back. She refused to give me a full refund. . We understand she wanted my toddler drink gone. But all we ask was for two minutes of kindness. This was completely unnecessary and uncalled for. We will definitely not be coming back and Supporting this business. And will be telling every one of our experiences. So parents beware if your toddler has a drink they don't provide. They don’t care! they will kick you out.

Great food great atmosphere, a gold ol fashion country pub just past blacktown what's not to love

Food was average. Chef couldn't price an item without it being on the till. Bar staff were great. Unfortunately Tuesday kitchen staff really let the venue down.

Great atmosphere, great service

One star is too much for the food. Ordered fish and chips, bruschetta and pull apart garlic bread. The fish batter was like concrete, heavy and hard, overcooked. The chips were soggy. The bruschetta - does the cooking team know how a bruschetta should be served? The tomato salsa is normally spooned over crusty toasted bread, not soft Turkish bread, and it was swimming in oil. Could only eat several bites of everything, before getting up in disgust and requesting a refund. Will never be back. The bistro staff were ok, though I can't give the bar staff any recommendations.

I run the Music Bingo Show now for a year every Tuesday Night. What makes my Music Bingo Show popular is the Food in the Bistro. The quality and quantity is excellent the food tasty delicious and fresh. The Bistro also features a Cafe ☕️ with great Coffee & Frappes the Bar is modern well equipped. The management and staff awesome 👏 🤩 management also allow me to give out 30-40 prizes so very generous. They also kept my shows running over the holiday period which keeps the vibe going. We came for the $12 HotStone steak. My husband ended up getting the calamari and chips and we got an entree of the garlic cheese and bacon pull apart bread. This was honestly one of the best steaks I have had . Great value for money,great service,great venue.

A Sportsbar, very nice people

A true pub style Tavern. We've been here quite a few times now and it just gets better every visit. Staff are very polite and the service is top notch. Kids have an outside undercover play area, whilst the adults can watch from close by. The meals are sensational. We'll be sure to keep visiting this pub for as long as we can.

I’m a bit of a burger eater. But when the burger came out I nearly fell off my feet. For $19-00 with a few fries it was the smallest burger I’ve ever encountered. Kids size at that. The atmosphere was nice. Drink service waiting time was quick. Good parking around the tavern. If you’re ever crossing the mountains go to Lithgow Workies Club. The burger and fries are the best at the cafe [not main servery]. Good off street parking.

Only Popped in for a quick drink, But while we were there, The bar staff were great, And after going through the menu we will definitely be going back for lunch.

I recently visited this place and had a great experience overall. The food was delicious—both the burger and pizza were absolutely spot on! Drinks were also a highlight, especially the cocktails, which were crafted to perfection. The service was impressively fast. While the staff could have been friendlier, it didn’t take away from the quality of the experience.Definitely worth a visit for the food, drinks, and quick service!

Great spot for a feed and a quiet ale or two. Had the chicken parmi with a meatlovers topper. Perfect.

Too crowded in a small space.

I’ve been coming to Clarendon Tavern for years, I used to be here at least once or twice a week. It used to be my favourite place to get a feed and get a few drinks. They’ve changed their menu (taken most of the amazing items off). The quality of the food is rubbish now & staff are quite rude & sassy. You guys were amazing before hand, but now there is nothing that separates you from any other pub.

Absolutely disgusting food was cold, staff are rude, I witnessed a big woman staff member yelling at two older people, the people got up and walked out. We should have done the same never coming back. Putrid customer service, you all need training, I felt like I'd just walked into a zoo, staff have filthy attitudes, the atmosphere was toxic from staff members. I'll take my money elsewhere.

Very disappointing! The venue is CHARGING for a takeaway container. Seriously! And it just a few cents $1 each container. very poor customer service. So disappointing.

Great Pub with great food and if you catch the $12 lunch Mon -Saturday it's a fantastic bargain! There's even a play area for the kids.

We came here for lunch after the Air show and were starving (limited food options there). Upon ordering I asked the server how big the Fishermans' basket was. He said it was a 'sizeable' amount and motioned a small platter size with his hands - still had to confirm this with kitchen. I went ahead and ordered two of them, totalling $56 dollars. Half an hour later we were served two of these (pictured). This amount would be lucky to feed one person- definitely not a family of four. The plate was half full with basic salad items. I understand seafood can be expensive but the term basket is misleading. We could have ordered four kids meals and gotten more value (and chips). Overall the atmosphere was great, and the area was family friendly (petting zoo was a great source of amusement for the kids). Maybe just reminding staff how many servings there are in meals like this.

We travel from the hills district to come to the Claro. We have 3 local pubs to us, but don’t bother with those - say no more. The claro have the best service, amazing cocktails, OMG the hot rok steak… drool!!! The staff are always keeping a great balance - of being incredibly fun and friendly while also working hard to keep everything running smoothly. It’s a great venue. $12 lunches are always running. They spoil the community and new patrons with them prices. Thank you Clarendon Tavern.

Stunning large open spaced venue, offering fantastic food and beverage options, located a small drive outside of Richmond or Windsor, Friendly staff and management. Onsite parking Great value for your next day out at the Clarendon!! Would recommend.

I really enjoy the Clarendon Tavern. The food is amazing and the menu is filled with a variety of different foods. My favourite food to get from the Clarendon Tavern is the Chicken Schnitzel with a side of chips and salad. (The sides are optional). The outside play area for the kids is amazing as a lot of kids can have fun, eat their food, and make new friends. The service at the Clarendon Tavern is good and when collecting your food they always give off a good vibe. Another thing I think is amazing is the parking. Their is a lot of parking so even when the place is packed you can still have a great chance of getting a place to park. I highly recommend people and family's to go to the Clarendon Tavern for a good feed. The worst thing about the Clarendon Tavern is the price which is not even that bad.

We ordered Pizza 🍕 got pasta 🍝, also order pumpkin salad 🥗 both without Goats Cheese 🧀. But we will be happy to try again as your beers 🍺 was nice as was the cider fresh off tap also

We recently held our end of season community sport presentations at the Clarendon Tavern. We had 3 events over 2 days. Michelle and the friendly Claro Team are professional, easy to deal with and no request was too big. They made organising our events fuss free. We had hired a DJ referred to us by Michelle, Dean from A Amazing Entertainment and he managed to keep 180 kids entertained for an hour and a half. Highly recommend using Michelle and the Clarendon Tavern Team and their upstairs function room for your next event.

Super busy night after the Hawksbury Races. They did a great job under the circumstances

I have passed this place hundreds of times and this was my first time to visit. The lunch menu is very reasonably priced and serving sizes are generous. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. So nice to sit out in the sun and enjoy lunch. I will definitely return soon.

Great hotel, very busy weekends,

I wouldn't recommend this pub to anyone . Playing pokies Rigged pokies just done there gameing room up and tightened the drops on the pokies .I tried 6 machine s not one drop and bad service for drinks took one hour to get one and then its a glass of coke and it tasted like water 💦 pretty poor . anything to get there money back ripping people of to make their pubs looking like a palace POOR SERVICE 👎👎

Cheap and good quality for lunch

Went with friends for the $12 lunch. Had bangers and mash. Very nice. Drinks were not very expensive ($7.50 for beer). All up a great lunch out. Also very close to station.

Great Pizza

The Clav is above average across the board. Some of the food costs a little bit more than you'd expect but it's good quality and portions. It is often a bit packed, but it's packed for good reason.

A great pit stop after a long day at Winterfest in Hawkesbury Showground. Lots of great food and the vibes were immaculate.

I came here on 22/3/22, got blackout drunk and proceeded to be lead out of the building by someone close to 50 over double my age (almost got in his car) and ended up have se× while going in and out of consciousness. Only ended up in this frightening situation due to being dangerously over served despite being very visibly drunk after 3

We hosted my husband’s 60th party upstairs. Can’t recommend it enough!! From organising it with Michelle to the great staff on the night, nothing could be faulted. Private entry, toilets,bar & dance floor all to yourself. Ordered platters and pizzas later on & it all went, plus a courtesy bus to take you home
