Food was poor, toilets disgusting, smelt of air freshener so strong it permeated my hair and clothes. Would never return

We ordered the steak, it tasted very weird same as the chips. For the price it was not worth it at all. The more I think of it the more I feel sick. I won’t be going back.

Love coming to my local club. A menu with all your favourite pub classics and some succulent Chinese meals. The vibe is super chill, all the staff are very friendly and welcoming. It’s also great to watch live sports on the big screen.

A bit of a walk back in time at Open Mic night

It’s like a living breathing instruction manual on how to make your club irrelevant. Smells like cigarettes inside, food is ordinary and there’s so many rules and signs and drunk old people it’s like a nursing home and brewery in one. The sooner they flatten it and go again the better. Would have been average in 1994, 30 years later it’s below even that. Never again.

Has a fabulous outdoor area utilising the old bowling greens with food trucks, bars, giant screen, tables, lights and music. Looks like a festival atmosphere. Only open limited days so check first. Sadly a hidden secret so doesn't get big crowds.

Great little club … quite so easy to park, cold beer and the bistro eats really well, cheap membership , friendly staff … Recommended

The female manager on last night was the rudest most miserable person working in hospitality I have encountered in a long time.

The Club's Privacy Policy - which is available on the website - is poor - minimal and wanting. In light of the recent data breach affecting other Clubs I had hopes that all Clubs would lift their game in respect privacy. Having a proper and full privacy policy is a way of ensuring trust and patronage. I'll stick to going to pubs where there is no need to share private information.

Amazing atmosphere open mic was the best on Thursday and dinner was delicious

One of the staff/receptionist (female, white, age 50+, on duty on Saturday afternoon, 27th April 2024) was irrational, ridiculously unfriendly and rude, and resorted to threats and intimidation, relying on imagined authority to mistreat/abuse event attendees. Additionally, there were no clear signing instructions at the venue for event attendees. Will never go back to this place or attend any event hosted at this place.

Good for a game of pool. Food was disappointing and apart from Coopers all their beers are Japanese owned. But a jug of Coopers was reasonably priced at about $23

Great Chinese restaurant and the food is fresh and tasty 🤤 old school club to catch up for a feed and a cheeky beer. Entree and 2x mains $43. Will be back next time I’m around here.

This club has picked up since my 4-star review a couple of years ago. The kitchen has been under new management since early 2023 I would guess. Excellent food and service.

We came on a Saturday night. Parking was ok. Plenty of outdoor seating. The pizza took over 45 min to come (and there was only 2 other tables there with patrons) and they came out one by one. Kids can kick a ball and have fun

Wonderful Venue. We had my daughters engagement party on the greens. The Staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure our guests were looked after. The Pizzas were amazing . We had a fun afternoon all thanks to Club Ryde.

I enjoyed the club so much I became a member well done.

Tracy was very rude, just because there was a misunderstanding when i booked the venue, doesnt mean she can ask us to pack up and leave and she has no right to refuse to serve us when we were about to buy coffee and drinks at the bar. You need to train her better as a big NO NO to refuse a customer. She clearly told the other staff not to serve us when we were about to order drinks. Thank you Bea for saving it, you keep saying sorry on her behalf.

Their customer service is like their furniture. Out of date and in desperate need of replacement. We came for the Halloween party and at reception we asked if we can use the bathroom for my child and instead of being pointed to the toilet in the club, we were told there was a bathroom outside. When you have a child that urgently needs to go, that is the worst possible response.

The restaurant in the club served excellent food and all the staff working in both the club and restaurant provided excellent service.

We went to see When dad married Fury. WOW absolutely fantastic cast, totally amazing.

Wheelchair accessible, driveway is super steep to if you are wheeling there it may be a challenge. Staff are nice and friendly and the food….the FOOD is amaaaazing!!

Club Ryde is a nice family venue that offers good friendly service by the staff, drinks prices are good and the place is kept clean. Bowling greens have been transformed into entertainment space with food trucks on offer. Sport plays on the big screen when it’s on and kids have play area to keep them busy. The new management at the bistro is a massive upgrade from the last owners. Food is nice, tasty but can’t be considered value for money with portion size to price. Overall I will be back to enjoy what Club Ryde offers for a reinvented club.

We went in to check out the bristo, and the service was amazing, under new management the menu had alot of variety, from western to Asian cuisines, and food was so tasty and BIG portions good value for money. I highly recommend you try it out, won't be sorry!

Ryde RSL or club Ryde great place

My Wife and I are members and the last time we were at the club we had a meal both had steaks which we were very disappointed with! This place had so much potential the views are amazing! The food is below average we hope that things change, they need to have good fresh food, something for everyone, roast dinners for the pensioners and good quality steaks, that are cooked well and make sure the hot chips are always hot!
