Great place and has everything you need

Such a weird encounter with some staff today… Purchased a cheap TV for a spare room, didn’t fit in my car, so we needed to organise delivery. He says he can’t do much better on the price of delivery because the TV costs $1700, and I already got a very solid deal at $1000 for the TV. I said that’s incorrect, the website explicitly says was $1100, now $1000, save $100. I said it’s a good price, but I definitely did not get a $700 saving. He then says “well it was $1700 a couple months ago”. Okay sure, but not now. He was trying to justify his inability to help on delivery price, by lying about the advertised price of the TV. Which I don’t understand because it’s $1000 Australia wide, no one is selling it for $1700. If you can’t help me with the price of delivery, that’s actually completely fine, I was happy to pay for delivery, but in my head I was thinking that there’s no need to lie about why you can’t help. He eventually said “we’ll do the delivery for 10 bucks for ya” and I said sweet, thank you, let’s lock it in. I go to pay, only to hear it’s actually $10 off, not $10 total for delivery. Then he wanted full payment of the TV but I have already paid on Click and Collect. I said “sorry mate can you please just cancel the order, it’s all getting too complex”. That was my way of saying “I don’t trust you’ll deliver it correctly” but without saying that, still trying to be nice. When I said to cancel it, he walked away without saying a word. Not even a “okay” or “yep” or “sorry to hear but if that’s what you choose, no worries”. Literally just walked away mid conversation lol. I had to go looking for him around the store to find him again. Went to the next JB down the road and got the TV for a better final price including free next day delivery. Only took 10 minutes. Very friendly and transparent with prices, no lying or deception, great customer service. I know that at the end of the day, JB still wins, my money stayed within the business. And that’s fine, I do like JB. But I’d imagine each individual store has sale targets to meet. Chirnside needs to retrain their sales staff…

revamped store layout makes it easier to get around it. staff helpful. parking is shared with other stores such as Bunnings and rebel sport access to store is through a closed walkway with gates every 30 to 40 metres

I came in to get aux usb adapter for my headset. But after finding out from the staff that it wouldn't work, I ended up buying a new gaming headset. Time was taken to find me the right one for the ideal set up.

Great experience today picking up a click and collect paid for item late last night after pay went through received text and email that explained what I needed to do and it was super fast also I woke up the following day and it was all ready to go had to show id and bank card used to make purchase got my item and off I went quick and easy.

Very rude staff . I took my toddler with me to but TV today. He just touched the TV screen and the customer service guy shouted and said don’t break the tv it’s very expensive. Such attitude is letting the store down. I would strongly recommend not to take your kids along with you. I have got no words to describe how let down I am feeling by that rude behaviour. JB hi Fi please put a sign out that kids are not allowed. 🤮🤮🤮🤮

Wandered in to look/buy food processor. Perusing stock available, making comparisons, no-one came and asked if they could assist me. Looked for staff but the few I saw were busy. It wasn't a quick glance over things either. Are sales staff trained to look for people or do they just wait for them to come to register with item, genuine question

I was here today looking for a laptop for my son for school. I'd been online and found the one I wanted. One of the staff members then approached and asked what I was looking for. I explained my requirements and he suggested an alternative which turned out to be cheaper, a better brand and double the memory. I was really appreciative of his assistance.
