Saddest parma I’ve ever eaten
Best pint of Guinness I’ve had in Australia 🤤 can’t stop thinking about it
Went here to watch Cricket, given it’s called the Cricketers. No Cricket was being played.
Went there for a cold one before the cricket at the G!
Stopped in here for a snack on afl grand final eve… all good
Great atmosphere, especially for pre/post AFL matches but zero gluten-free options and very pricey for drinks.
Best pub and the staff are amazing!!
Great place to have a feed before the footy
Great venue and great staff! Highly recommend utilizing for any upcoming event. Jack and the team looked after our group of 30 people with ease!
I'm really wondering how you can justify charging $17 for a regular pint of beer.. was just charged $17 for a pint of Balter XPA and couldn't say anything until I'd paid and am now in absolute shock. I paid $9 for a pint at another establishment a few days ago.. sure it was a different venue but $17 is nearly the price of a cocktail these days... what a joke.
Rude staff, rang to book was told there would be a table for 6 when we arrived, arrived and staff said they don’t take bookings and were full. Not helpful at all. Dingy.
Bar person Maddie extremely rude, conceited, dismissive and unhelpful to visitors from out of town. Do not recommend this venue in any way.
Staff were really friendly and efficient!
Legitimately some of the worst food I’ve eaten.
Friendly relaxed but very professional staff n presentation...
Brad and Nick were the best bartenders I have ever experienced in my 25 years of living! They provided great customer service, they were able to provide me with extensive knowledge of their beverage options as well as their food options. Maddie was a great leader in the bar too very good at instructing as well as providing great customer service and providing great banter! 10/10 would recommend
Nick and Brad on the pool hall bar had exceptional service for the client i was with and I. We were perched atop the bar, never a hesitation from staff for a good yarn. Maddy the 2ic looked after us great too. Would absolutely love to come back. I don't review often but top effort.
Top place to meet up with friends before heading off to the MCG for the footy. Great service, even when packed out. Cheers 🍻😎👍 !!!
Hannes was the best bar attendant best charisma and personality while keeping it professional. Can’t recommend enough Right now, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Cold beer, friendly staff beautiful beer garden. Great place to meet after the footy as its close to the G and Richmond station.
Staff were super nice, good luck to the girl in her 1st shift
Great Service and Atmosphere
I am not a smoker but I like the beer garden They are all vapibg
Great atmosphere to enjoy a night out.
The beer could be colder. There was no food or chips or nuts at all. The service came with a smile.
Great meeting spot for mates going to or from MCG.
Stopped in for a quick bite to eat, we had nachos and a big burger, was a good feed.
Nachos were decent, but what they call guacamole is questionable. The 3 bartenders were goofing around behind the bar, one threw a lemon slice at the other, then chased her to try to smash it in her face. Then, they group hugged. The atmosphere was more like a daycare than a bar.
A group of us, from Adelaide, over for a Crows V Demons game at the MCG. We were early, so popped in here for a drink before the game. Now, as a domesticated ex-pom, brought up in the knowledge that going into the wrong pub in the wrong colours on matchday can easily be a once in a lifetime experience, I'll admit to some unease around going to what looks, from the outside, to be a very basic, even dingy-looking city boozer in the very heart of Melbourne territory. How wrong can you be? Inside is a cosy traditional pub, a welcoming vibe and friendly staff. A bar at the front, complete with a pair of classic video game machines and a restaurant area at the back, we didn't eat there but the food looked like good quality pub-grub. An absolute gem of a place. Five stars for reminding me what pubs used to be.
Delicious 😋...
Good place pre footy
Footy crowd
Service was slow. Food was ok
Legendary pub with good service. This pub is a part of Melbourne Folklore
Went in for a beer after the Melbourne - Collingwood game on Kings birthday. Security was over aggressive and kicking people out for no reason and man handling them. I overheard one security officer saying he was going to break someone’s scull and then a little later he was going to #*ck someone’s mum. The people he was evicting didn’t appear to be doing anything wrong. Security dude was #96. I left before finishing my drink - I’ll go elsewhere in future, terrible.
Nice Meals, Staff are nice, a great place to stop into before heading to the footy.
Really nice area heaps of people from the footy
Great pub for pre/after footy drinks. Friendly staff
Best atmosphere.....before and after the footy
Great little pub. It is a little gem
Relaxing pints before the Collingwood game...chose this venue as Collingwood football club has no venue open around 5.30 on a Friday night.Thank you Cricketets Arms..lovely staff.
HOT STAFF! The manager is sooooo sexy. I've even seen him help an old lady cross the road.
Nice easy meeting place for a coldy or meal before heading to the MCG,just around the corner from Richmond station
Visited here prior to going into tbe MCG on boxing day. Was a little surprised at the barmaids attire but the beer was cold
Not many good options but great place, amazing staff
average food but I will say the kitchen staff worked very hard.
Good beer and a nice atmosphere!
Even just for the bar food we love it
Great place for a catchup and beer with friends
Great local Richmond pub to enjoy a counter meal and cold beer before a game at the MCG. Food offering is basic, but done well. I had the steak sandwich today, with Balter IPA beer.
I left my work bag here but Hugh got it for me. Carlton dry on tap was as I remembered it; Cold and tasteless but it was my choice
Great place to have a drink before the MCG
Very good customer service and very polite and friendly staff and well set out great place to have a couple of drinks with friends before the game.
Brilliant place great atmosphere
Great place, great location, great staff! Perfect spot to host drinks before or after a game or even host a bucks! Staff were amazing and accommodating. Pool room upstairs is quality!
Good food good service always stop in when going to the football
