Great Hotel with perfect location! Breakfast was awesome and you could order anything you like. Short walk to Darling harbour. Aquarium was close and a lot of restaurants. Just a few minutes to Operahouse and Sydney bridge or og you sent to tale the Ferry to Taronga Zoo.

Very nice and pleasant to stay at. The location is central, and the traffic is heavy around the hotel The staff is very friendly, the rooms are well equipped and clean. The gym is small, but it is ok. The drive to the airport is not long, even though it was peek time, it took 30 mins by using the tunnel.

Clean well equipped room with a fab comfy bed. Short walk to either York Street or George Street for the bus or light railway for access to all of Sydney. Great location. If it’s a room with a view you want, ours on the seventh floor was facing another building so no joy there. Easy walking distance to Circular Harbour and the Harbour Bridge.

Stepping through the door to the tranquility of this hotel was far beyond our initial expectations. The service the room the quality were all impeccable.

When I arrived I was pretty annoyed. I’d hate a delayed flight, an awful uber journey and then arrived to be told my booking wasn’t on the system until the next day and they were fully booked. I was incredibly annoyed at this point. Then I met Amar (duty manager) and what can I say. Absolutely incredible customer service, he helped a very frustrated customer with a smile on his face the entire time. Got my room and booking sorted, got me in so I could have an early check in and gave me a room on one of the higher floors which is exactly what I’d requested, nothing I asked was too much for him, he’s fantastic!! Amar - I can’t thank you enough, you are so brilliant! Thank you!! The hotel itself is lovely, I’ve been here for five nights, the rooms are great, real attention to detail, even giving you little pots of lavender mist and sleep tea to help you get sleep at night!

Early check in most welcomed as a IHG member with an understated but functional foyer. Room on 4th floor had no view was very spacious with lots of shelving space. Bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and i noticed no noise as others have reported. Bathroom spacious with habd held shower abd loveky products. Towels were alas thin stiff, and one had a hole. Gym great and had air con where many hotels are crap. Breakfast was off the menu complimented by continental buffet couldn't fault staff there excellent. Would return in a heartbeat|

Totally unacceptable house keeping service: they decided to « ignore the sign to not enter my room » to enter it without my permission. All this to bring some towels that I didn’t needed nor asked for. This because this morning it had taken me hours to get two towels (so I definitely had them and they knew about it). So after ruining my morning (all together I waited 3 hours for my towels.-Long story cut short-), they ruined my evening when, as I was upon taking a shower before sleep, I found out someone had entered my room. I was so humiliated and furious. I had my periods and therefore it was humiliating to have had one of their employees being in my room in my absence while I had specifically turned on the electric sign to not enter my room. So humiliating and disrespectful really. And of course I had let my wallets with my credit cards on top of my open suitcase so whoever entered my room had access to it. Wonderful! We’re paying a lot for this hotel. This is so unacceptable. Even basic hotel respect one’s privacy. Edit: I’m still staying at your hotel as my stay is not over. I already informed the desk. In your answer you wrote « I would like to offer my personal assistance in addressing your concerns. If there are specific steps we can take to rectify the situation ». Nice but totally empty words. « specific steps to rectify the situation »?? The damage is already done. You can’t change the past and the humiliation and insecurity can you? Only thing you can do is TO RESPECT THE PRIVACY OF YOUR CLIENTS and SPECIALLY WHEN THEY PUT THE SIGN « DO NO DISTURB/ENTER THE ROOM »!!! Only good memory here is the breakfast which was indeed generous and delicious.

I am an IHG employee working with Holiday INN Melbourne Airport. I had arrived at this hotel on 28th January 2025 with my kids, 9 or 10 am to the hotel and requested an early check in even if I had to pay a little extra buck. I was ok with-it having kids with me, although my check in time was 2pm. Adrian the staff didn't acknowledge my request with courteous manner looking and sounding rude to talk to. He told me no room are available with rude tone. I requested him to call in case if there is early room available or not. But there was no courtesy to give a call as well. I arrived back to the hotel between 1 and 2pm. People expect great customer at all times with a welcoming and smiling face and great service, which was not the case. I am really not happy with service provided to me this time I had come last year as well. that time it was great service given at front desk.

Clean, tidy and very comfy. Good sized room with good amenities, along with having earth-friendly facilities. The pool was nice, albeit small. The only things that weren't great were the shower (leaks all over the floor and soaks the bathmat) and the elevator call system. It was a little too high tech for only 2 elevators and ended up being a problem when there were too many people at one time. Otherwise, great location and good service with friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had the pleasure of being assisted by Amar from the front-of-house team. From the moment I arrived, his warm and welcoming demeanor made me feel right at home. He went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect. What really stood out was the thoughtful birthday surprise he arranged for my partner, complete with chocolates along with the bottle of champagne and a personalized note. It truly made our day and added a special touch to our experience. Amar’s attention to detail and commitment to excellent service didn’t go unnoticed, and I truly appreciated everything he did to make my visit memorable. We visited Sydney for five days and our first time to the city. The staff was welcoming, and we had a very nice room with a lovely hot shower with great water pressure The buildings are tall around us, so the views aren’t great, but the accommodation was just what we needed. The location was ideal for walking to all of the sites and Darling Harbor has a great walking path all the way down to the wharf and the opera house The breakfast was generous and lots of options Would recommend!

We stayed in the Junior Suite at Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour and had a wonderful experience overall. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Darling Harbour’s restaurants and attractions, which made exploring the city super convenient.||The Junior Suite was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we loved the modern touches throughout the room.||The rooftop infinity pool was a highlight, offering stunning city views—a perfect spot to unwind. The gym was well-equipped and ideal for a quick workout. We enjoyed coffee from the on-site café in the mornings, and dinner at TWO 88 Bar & Kitchen was fantastic, with delicious food and a great atmosphere.||Overall, a great stay with excellent service. We’d definitely come back for the comfort, amenities, and prime location!

Very nice hotel perfectly located to explore the city. Staff were very welcoming, helpful and professional. The room was lovely and breakfast each morning was very nice with plenty of options for adults and kids. The pool is very nice, with an area to sit and relax after a dip. The atmosphere around the hotel was very pleasant for Christmas.

Hotel is located within short distance to most attractions and activities in the downtown area. The staff are helpful and efficient rooms are excellent new clean and spacious comfortable beds and good bathrooms and showers strongly recommended

The location was not prepared to handle large number of arrivals early. They had people waiting for hours to check in even though they have an early check in at 11, no one was getting their rooms. After a long flight having to wait another 5 to 8 hours is unacceptable. Do better.

We had a great stay last week at the Crowne Plaza Darlington Harbor in Sydney. The location was ideal for exploring the City, with just a few blocks to the Town Center train station. We also walked back from the Botanical Gardens in about 20 minutes with no issues. The staff were very kind and helpful, excellent breakfast, and our room was clean and quite nice. We were in town for NYE and saw the fireworks over the harbor. Amazing experience. Great hotel stay overall.

Nice room and great staff, so close to Darling Harbor attractions, George Street, Town Hall transportation center, China and Korea town. Staff very friendly and helpful, nice amenities in the room and very clean. Room was very quiet with great climate control. Environmentally friendly and we used the water dispensers in the hallways.

Asked for twin beds on making the booking as was travelling with my 15 y/o daughter and got a disabled room instead. Naturally the shower curtain stops no water so the bathroom was always wet and there was no lid on the toilet. Quite unhygienic. Only one bed. Table in room was like a small round balcony table and not ideal for working on as I had to do some work whilst away. Overall experience very poor and will definitely not return.

We booked a two night stay in Crowne Plaza Hotel in Darling Harbour, Sydney for a leisure trip. We had a comfortable, relaxing and quiet night in the hotel after a long tiring day of visit around Sydney CBD area which resulted to a quality sleep and rest for both me and my husband. Thank you.

I recently stayed at crowne plaza and my experience was disappointing due to the lack of basic hospitality and poor customer service. Upon arrival there was no warm greetings which set a negative tone for the stay. Calls to room service and reception went unanswered multiple times, leaving us no choice but to walk to the reception for even the simplest requests. The overall service was inattentive and unorganised making our stay far less comfortable than expected expected.

I always get an upgrade even though I did not request and also gives me cheaper additional rates for bathtub room. Great job!

We attended the Christmas lunch hosted at Crowne Plaza Darling Harbour. The food was very nice and the staff were very accommodating. The food was served as a buffet which is what we were expecting, however none of the buffet dishes were labelled with allergy warnings such as dairy free, nut free, gluten free etc. Allergies, preferences and intolerances are very easy to label on buffet dishes and this is something that should be standard at all hotels. The staff were very helpful when I asked about gluten free items however it would have been even easier to just have these items labelled in the first place.

We stayed at Crowne Plaza Sydney for one night to attend The Wiggles concert at the ICC, and everything was fantastic! The hotel’s location is perfect—just a 2-minute walk to Darling Harbour. Carlos at check-in was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. We received delicious welcome chocolates, which was a lovely touch. We enjoyed drinks at TWO 88 Bar, a charming spot located on the lower ground. The rooftop pool provided a wonderful place to relax and spend quality time as a family. Highly recommend this hotel for families looking to enjoy a city stay or attend events like we did!

Such an amazing hotel in Sydney CBD! The staff were very helpful, it has a great bar and pool area and the room was delightful! The buffet breakfast was also delicious, I would recommend the pancakes! Overall it’s a fantastic stay for solo travellers or couples!

Right in the centre of town. Roof top heated. pool You park your car in crowned plaza carpark for $65 and if you need to go anywhere there's busses taxis and a big bus hop on and off tour that takes you right around the city.

My stay was impacted by a death in the family and Crowne Plaza were kind and compassionate in offering me a room credit.

I was there for almost a week on business. Location is good as it's not that far from the airport and close to a train station but there's no space for taxis to do pickup/dropoffs. Uber/Taxis need to drop you off on the street with the vehicles behind blaring horns. I walked to the darling harbour bridge which took about 30-40 minutes. Breakfast was good, room was well maintained, clean. Room service closes at 9:30 PM, so be prepared to get uber eats :)

We came across this Hotel after a bad experience with Kimpton on Margot - thankfully the IHG Team coordinated our transfer from Kimpton to Crowne and what an amazing experience it was. The Front Office team were so professional, even with Check-outs happening at the same time of our arrival, you could feel their genuineness and care when assisting all guests. The Buffet Breakfast is impressive, I highly recommend this, its value for money but the presentation and tastiness of the food was just divine. The Room we had was perfect, a corner room with wonderful views. We are now planning to return in the new yea. Its location to Central CBD, Markets, Shopping and all makes this an ideal location to stay. Travelling by Train from the Airport to CBD was so easy, the Train staff are just as friendly as to are all the locals. Thank you for such a wonderful time. See you real soon :-)

The location for exploring downtown is perfect. The staff are helpful, the rooms spacious, the breakfast choices are plentiful, and there's an outdoor infinity pool rooftop and is ideal for afternoons after walking around all day. Need to say that it's super quiet at sleep time.

A standard check in time is 3pm and due to my early flight schedule, the receptionist managed to let me check in by 12:30pm when I arrive the hotel ard 11am. I feel that the entire teams are sincere about client centric and the “willing to help and serve” attitude is what I really appreciated during the stay. During the stay, the room is excellent condition with pillow spray for guest who can relax during their sleep after a long day of work and the “go green” objective doesn’t impact a lot on the facilities inside the room. I would highly recommend Crowne Plaza. Well done and keep it up.

I stayed here on business for three nights in November ‘24. The hotel is overall excellent and I would stay again without hesitation. The rooms are spacious and pretty much new with good amenities. The location is a good mix of ‘central but not so central you regret it’. The hotel communal spaces are fairly standard for an IHG property and overall good. The breakfast is nice (but expensive) and the room service was about average and delivered quickly. All the staff I interacted with were efficient, friendly and professional. The gym and rooftop pool are nice bonuses for a business trip and I enjoyed using both. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that on checkout I asked for a printed receipt and was told it would be emailed - which it wasn’t. I had to chase several times after leaving the hotel for a copy.. which is annoying when you’re a business traveller. But, overall this is a very minor thing.

Where do we start. From the moment we checked in, the issues started. Incorrect room rate charged for our first night and changed without notice. Room cards rejected by your lifts (up and down...really). Constant hot water issues in our bathroom. Being called and asked when are we checking out on our first morning of our 3 night stay...??? We could go on and on. We have wasted enough of our time on your hotel, sorry. 2 stars only due to the service and embarrassment expressed by your staff.

Friendly and helpful staff. Continental buffet and a la Carte hot breakfast was very good. Happy hour in the hotel bar was great with a good selection of wines and cocktails. The location for shopping, trains and restaurants is fabulous.

Hotel staff is friendly and the room was quite big. Cleaning could improve especially in the bathroom. Replacement of water would improve the experience.

The room was comfy, bed and pillow were nice. I just had some road noise from Kent and Bathurst st in my room so I didn't get the best sleep. We had a bad experience with dinner staff when we had dinner that night, items were not clearly labelled to indicate they were breakfast only items and two friends of ours were yelled out by one of the staff. The manager was called and he handled it very well. I think more training is required on how the staff should communicate with customers. And ensure a measured approach is given regarding various situations when handling customers. That staff member was very unprofessional and derogatory to our friends speaking to them as if they were children. Absolutely unacceptable. That put a sour taste in my mouth on an otherwise wonderful experience in your hotel.

Lovely new hotel. Everything is fresh and clean. Had an upgrade to a room with a goodish view. Restaurant access a bit tricky. Nice breakfast with good service. Filtered water available on all floors for the taking. Not a great locale down the hill from Town Hall Station but okay if you are mobile.

Until now my deposit is not paid back its been 1,5 months already. Everytime i call the cs always said that wait wait and wait and I emailed them multiple time no aswer until now

Absolutely amazing! Found this place after an issue with another hotel (which I won’t name) . If I go to Sydney again will absolutely stay here! From the service at the front counter to the hospitality staff, the service was fabulous! The food was absolutely delicious! And the rooms were immaculate even under the bed was clean (I’ve stayed in motels before where this is not done) it shows they honestly do a in-depth clean of the rooms! Cannot fault them at all!

Poor customer service, staff not helpful, management none responsive to four requests for support. Overall, a very poorly run hotel with absolutely no focus on guest management.

I have been blown away by this hotel. The customer service has been exceptional, especially Lubica at breakfast. The room was more than adequate, I had an amazing sleep and the location has made my sojourn a dream. Breakfast buffet was a delight, I loved the congee station and Nutella tap.

Spent a night here booking the Pet Package. Staff were very friendly and accommodating towards having my dog at the hotel. Room was spacious and modern with a dog bed and bowls being provided. Walking distance to the nearest grass area wasn’t too far (darling quarter) even for a 1am toilet stop. Shame there is no grass patch outside though. In-room dining was absolutely fantastic, great quality food and decent portions without being an over the top price. Parking at the hotel was convenient, although the EV charging stations cost a fair bit per KWh. Overall yes I’d consider staying here again especially if I want to be right in Darling Harbour.

I had the pleasure of staying in this hotel twice on our six week vacation in Australia and on both occasions the service was excellent. On our second stay we were able to get an upgrade into a junior suite (thank you Candy) which was amazing. The hotel is very central to the metro/trams and restaurants etc. Every member of staff that we had any contact with were very helpful.

Normally stay at the intercontinental, but this stay was excellent. Breakfast and service remarkable. Would undoubtedly stay here again. Only issue managing luggage limited space outside,had to use underground garage to offload

I requested an early checkin being a Diamond Elite. Completely understand if I had to wait a little bit. The receptionist said she would send me an email when the room became available but she did not. So I had to chase the room up. Much better service from the male agent on checkout. Also I was not offered an upgrade Even if there was not one available some acknowledgment would have been nice.

I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Darling Harbour for the umpteenth time, and I appreciate its convenient location near the train station and numerous dining options. However, this visit left me a bit disappointed. Upon checking into my room, I found some hair on the bed, which was unexpected. On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent, as always. I really enjoy the variety and quality offered. Despite the hiccup this time, I plan to stay at this hotel again in the future.

Had an exceptional stay at the Crowne Plaza and cannot commend the hotel enough for their utmost hospitality and professionalism. We were staying in Sydney as part of our honeymoon. Upon arrival, we were informed that our room had been upgraded and entered into a fabulous room only to find a handwritten card, bottle of champagne on ice, and box of chocolates as a congratulations. A few days later, we returned from a day out to find another card and a fruit platter to welcome us back! The breakfast buffet was part of our room package and it was absolutely exceptional! It is a must to include this in your stay, you won't regret it!! Overall, the service and hotel features were super and it is located within walking distance to all major transport and key parts of town. We will most definitely be staying here again when we return back to Sydney for another holiday.

I stayed here for a week to attend a conference at ICC. Location of the hotel was perfect. Rooms are newly renovated which made my stay nice and comfortable and despite being in the centre of the city, noise pollution was minimal and quiet. Service and Staff were really pleasant and helpful and Bar88 was a nice spot to wind down with a cocktail after a busy day. 10/10 recommend.
