Croydon RSL is dedicated to supporting all service personnel in our area. We are a community-focused organization that provides a range of services, events, and support to veterans, their families, and the local community.

ANZAC Appeal & Services 2024

The month of April is all about our ANZAC Appeal and services. There is a lot happening, so mark your calendars with the following dates:

• ANZAC Appeal: Calling all volunteers! If you’re interested in helping with selling, packing, counting, etc., please check your availability. A sign-up sheet will be available at the Sub Branch starting Friday, 08/03. Our Appeals Officer, Tamara, does an amazing job, but she needs your help—it takes a Sub Branch to raise money. (Appeal period approx. 13/04 to 25/04)

• ANZAC March & Service: Sunday, 21 April - Polish those medals and iron that shirt! It’s time for our veterans and their families to proudly march to the War Memorial and receive the respect they deserve. Military jeeps will be available for those who need a bit of extra support.

• ANZAC Dawn Service: Thursday, 25 April - Join us for our first Dawn Service at the War Memorial’s new location. This will be a fitting tribute to all who have served. We’ll reward your early morning start with a Gunfire Breakfast and a cuppa.

Our Club

• Social & Community: Members and guests dinner every second Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm, with occasional live entertainment.
• Opening Hours: Open from 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm on Wednesdays and Fridays (until 8:30 pm on Dinner Fridays).
• Facilities: Bar and Snooker available.
• Hall Hire: Available for functions to members.
• New Members: Welcome! Visitors are also encouraged to join us.

Welfare

The RSL and its volunteers provide assistance to past and present service personnel and their dependents when in need. We offer a range of financial and non-financial support services.

Community

We support our local community groups and work closely with local schools. Key events include:

• Annual Anzac Day March and Service
• Dawn Service and Gun Fire Breakfast
• Remembrance Day Service
