Bloody terrible I ordered three Mr beast burger Rubix cubes and I was sent this. I expect a refund immediately or I will be taking legal action ASAP!

Our experience at the store was disappointing, primarily due to the lack of basic courtesy from one of the staff members. The employee, possibly named James, with glasses and long hair (tied) seemed reluctant to greet us when we entered and displayed an unfriendly demeanor as we left. It’s baffling to see such behavior from someone in a customer service role. While we initially planned to return and purchase some games before traveling, this interaction completely changed our minds. It’s unfortunate that such unprofessionalism overshadowed the rest of our visit.

Not a very enthusiastic guy in the store. Checking some lists and I only got a half warm Welcome. No special black friday sales in store for MTG. Would have liked to spend some money there but not like this.

Quite overpriced compared to other stores and had a limited range of games.

A cheap is Rubik’s cube fell apart within a few minutes of using it. My son was literally sitting outside the store after the purchase. The stubborn staff member told us there was nothing he could do. “It was fine before it was taken out of the wrapper”. Selling an inferior product and refusing any type of refund or exchange is totally unacceptable. Will never go back again. Don’t shop here.

Excellent service

The only thing more impressive than their range of games was their wonderful staff. Their passion for board games was evident, sharing in-depth knowledge on many of the games and offering some great advice. Felt like a kid in a candy shop and am excited for my next purchase this weekend - The Wooden Monopoly Board. One can never have too many games, right?!

Friendly when you buy something but the total opposite when wanting to take something back. I was treated like trash, so I went to the shopping centre's management office. They agreed to the manager's unacceptable and rude behaviour and refunded the money without further questions. They opened an investigation and wrote a complaint to the main office of mind games .. terrible manager at gc mind games, she's definitely enjoying her manager status... I told her I'll put her and the story online, so other people know that they can complain to the shopping centre's management office. Don't let the manager make up her own rules and throw made up legal paragraphs at you. Teach her that it's not ok to use her manager status to bully customers. The managers I'm employing in my companies would never be allowed to have such a bad attitude. B4 you buy from Mind Games, check out Toyworld first. A lot of the same stuff as Mind Games, but half the price and much better treatment as well. Never going back to any Mind Games shop again.

Perfect in every way, can't help myself from stopping in every time I walk past, great knowledge and friendly staff. The 5/5 Hatoyama mind puzzles are awesome and definitely recommend getting one as a distressing tool

10/10. I came into the gold coast store looking to purchase my first mah jong set. Anna provided excellent service and was very knowledgable about the products. I will be telling everyone else from the mah jong club come to mind games should they need anything.

Staff are always nice and helpful. If they don't have what you're looking for, they'll let you order it through them for Pick-up when it arrives :)

This is a fine store with great variety of products and information and all the staff in this establishment are fantastic except for that middle aged, dark haired balding man, i think he might be a supervisor/manager but im not sure. He is the most disrespectful, unnecessarily rude man I've met in a retail store.

We we greeted warmly by Erin and she was so helpful and friendly .. the range of games and puzzles is awesome !!! totally recommended shopping here 😊

This is one of the only places we buy games from. They have plenty of stock, everything is easy to find, and the staff are always friendly - helpful if you ask. On our most recent trip we went in with a list of about 10 games hoping to find at least one or two - I believe they had ALL but one or two. Made choosing very difficult! Even though Australia Fair is a bit of a pain, this store is worth it if you're really into your games or just looking for something new to try for family or friends game night.

Staff is lovely and quite knowledgeable, very good at recommending games and resources when asked plus one thing I really enjoy is the after greeting you they don't helicopter around you.

There is just so much choices to chose from. I can understand the price might be a little rough. But I gotta say I shop here a bit and my collection has gotten pretty huge. During covid times is not a bad place to go and get some games and spend time with family and friends

Mind Games has a lot of board games and very friendly staff who are always very happy to help.

Amazing service. Excellent communication. Adaptive problem solving. And all of this during ‘lockdown’. Due to no fault from Mind Games I received a game in the mail with a broken part. Thought about trying to glue it but phoned Mind Games instead. Best ever move. They offered a no questions replacement at their cost. They had posted a replacement games before I had even put the broken one in the return post. Thank you Mind Games staff.

Was in this store today ready to spend over $100 when I was refused a sale due to only having cash.... Walked accross to toy world, no problems ended up with exactly what I was refused to buy but was cheaper.

Absolutely blown away by Harleys professional service and unique presentation on games. She knew exactly what I was after and delivered. If you are a dungeons and dragons fan go see her!

I tried to swing by quickly on my way past this morning. However, the massive range of games led to it being a longer visit. This was amplified by the excellent customer service I received from Harley. Her knowledge of games is only to be surpassed by her passion for them. She really took my games shopping to the next level. I’m not in the area often, but next time I’ll definitely be ducking in. Good to see a board games shop hiring quality staff!
