I went to renew my membership , and I hadn't been there for a while because the last time I went, there the meal wasn't that nice . This time, I had the calamari, which was still not that good .

So friendly and a great place to spend the day if you really want to

The food was excellent and a good selection of dishes to suit everyones taste. I indulged in the prawn and scallop crepe and still reliving every mouthful, nearly three weeks later!

Had lunch here, fast friendly service food was good.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Club is nicely furnished, well lit and spacious . Ample dining room with serving delicious meals at special prices especially for Seniors. Great venue to relax, enjoy a drink and dine at reasonable cost. Comes with easy and spacious adjoining carpark. Join and take advantage of being a member.

The meal was outstanding, with generous portions and a lovely presentation. The staff were exceptionally helpful and demonstrated a high level of excellence, particularly considering the busy atmosphere. Their hard work was truly commendable, and I extend my praise to the ladies who served us.

The food was good but the area where the band and dance floor is too small for the number of people they had in the venue. The area should be made larger

To many many machines had reserved sighs on them a few people playing 2 machines and leaving reserved on machines for about 30 mins on sunday before coming back to play them I counted 9 at 1 stage and a hour later there was 7 I took pictures of these machines workers should take reserved off machines after 5 to 10 mins very disappointing by the workers just plain lazy

I love Darebin rsl especially when Alfi Rocker band is on. It's a great comfortable venue and we enjoy seeing Alfi Rocker band and dance and have lots of fun. Additionally the food is great and with Alfi it's a great night out. So consider joining us for dinner and music by Alfi Rocker band and dance. Eve Back at Darebin rsl to see Alfi Rocker band and again a real great night. Beautiful food, excellent service and a fun night. So if you love classic rock music to sing and dance to Alfi Rocker Band is a great band and Alfi will give all to his audience so they lots of enjoyment.

Had seniors lunch today 8/7/2024. Corned beef was cold mashed potato was lumpy. Soup was also cold. Took for ever to get my dessert.

I would just like to acknowledge Jessica for her kind help with getting me water for my guide dog. also Jacob for making our coffees in the pokies area, i found him to be very nice and kind. also Laura for being caring and looking after us. I always find the Darebin rsl staff very welcoming and I’m pleased with the service.

I think in all RSL clubs senior food portion is cheaper but much smaller.

Went to Morning Melodies, food was good. The entertainer however couldn't sing and was way too loud. Left early with a headache.

Grifter Central. All the scabs and weirdos in the area can'thave made this their regular place to get money, smokes or butts out of the ashtrays. More so than any other place in the area. Directly due to apathetic and lazy security. Apart from that it's a regular pokie joint with a bit of a bistro. (Some of the scum that call this place home are banned and can't get entry to most of the other pokie joints in the area) Oh the whole place is a huge insult to the dignity & name of the RSL institution.

Great selection of meals at reasonable prices also offering good selection of seniors meals.They have a selection of daily meal special deals as well. Meals are served promptly after ordering staff are friendly with drinks at bar prices. Well worth a visit.

This RSL has had a facelift, but I wasn't very impressed with the food here. 😕

Had lunch there today with my husband I had Italian chicken parmigiana, and my husband had the gluten free burger. The chicken schnitzel was overcooked and dry and would've been nicer if that wasn't the case, my husband's burger was nice but would've been nicer if he was able to have the other if available, the staff were lovely though.

We'll be happy to update our review after more visits, but so far the food quality is below par. Wether the meals are trying to replicate the kind of cuisine one receives in nursing homes, who knows, but the $25 veggie burger I had was ridiculously overpriced for such a plain item. Un-buttered non-fresh bun with lettuce and two slices of tomato only, plus a patty with a small dash of mayo on top. No avo, onion (fried or raw onion would have been good), tomatto sauce or relish, or any kind of commitments or toppings which would normally bring a burger up to $25 gourmet status. This place is taking the mickey. With the bangers and mash, the mash and gravy with onion were good, plus the veggies, but the sausages were noticeably el cheapo. Though the 'bangers and mash' did come in handy - after putting some of the fried onion/gravy from the bangers and mash, which my wife mercifully donated, into the veggie burger, plus some Aioli (which we had to request - they sent the chips out without it), the burger tasted much better ! The patty itself was very good. Just everything around it - not. The spring rolls were almost empty. 80% - 90% fried pastry. One star for the food, an extra star for the carport covers. The parking area is excellent.

Had a fab night. The food was good with generous servings. Drinks are reasonably priced. Entertainment carefully chosen with lots of hits to dance to. Easy to park and good security. Definitely make it a regular night out!

Its a nice looking place but l would not go back, they mucked up our meal orders, parma was dry chips horrible fish was done in a weird type of batter not very nice and over priced, pokies were a joke $70 and no drop how pathetic, no wonder they can afford to put carport covers in.😡

This beautiful newly renovated restaurant that is tucked away in a quiet area, in one of the most busiest roads in the Northern suburb is just an absolute delight! The staff are warm, welcoming and friendly. They are super attentive and the food also matches the great customer experience. Compliments to the staff out front and the chefs out the back!
