Don't Waste your Time or Money...Just recently attended 2 parties within the pavilion function room. For the First party found inadequate or not enough food for 100 guests, Dirty floors, unprepared setting room layout, manager not present for that evening considering a prior meeting was held with the manager stipulating these above concerns. Both parties I found especially the bar staff in the Pavilion room to be Disrespectful, Rude, Argumentative to patrons at times. I feel very Disappointed and let down that promises were made for us for both events and they Definitely weren't delivered. This is my second review post ever and I felt strongly that these occurrence's should be expressed !!!!

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel, especially when it came to dining. The indoor dining environment was elegant and comfortable, creating a perfect atmosphere for a relaxing meal. The outdoor setting was equally impressive, offering a beautiful and serene ambiance that made the experience even more enjoyable. This hotel offers a top-tier dining experience with great food, a wide range of drinks, and impeccable service. Highly recommended!

Outstanding dining institution Superb chilli prawn pizza with anchovies and roasted peppers alongside with a lemon lime bitters Also the female clerk with pink hair was friendly to allow me to investigate for accessibility to be sure for wheelchair users

Relaxed modern beer garden,semi enclosed with plenty of seating if you want to get amongst it,or smaller intimate seating for couples or small groups.Yes,there is a big screen and Friday dj,who kicked off at 6.30pm!,or am I getting old...Still an enjoyable evening with excellent quality pub food.The burger was delicious.

Friendly and helpful service. Wait staff great personality. Everyone enjoyed their meal-empty plates! Will return soon.

Amazing food options, everything our group of 8 had was delicious. Atmosphere is as expected for a suburban pub, tv is old skool so tough to watch sports, but the friendly service makes up for that. Def worth a stop in.

We hosted our engagement party over the weekend in the Pavilion and had a fantastic experience! From start to finish, we felt truly taken care of, and we want to give a special shoutout to Hadyn, Oscar, Marley, and Steph for their exceptional service. They went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly for us and our guests. The only downside was the heat—before sunset, the Pavilion was quite warm, and we really felt for the function before us in the 38-degree weather. If you're considering a daytime summer event here, keep in mind that while there are ceiling fans, it can still get quite hot. That said, once the sun went down, the atmosphere was perfect, and we couldn’t have asked for a better night!

Semi enclosed outdoor area provides a good casual area to catch up for a drink or order a meal from the hotel. Caters easilly for varying group sizes, from a couple to large numbers with an assortment of small tables to long benches to choose from. The menu offers a good variety of typical pub food, as well as some more interesting dishes to choose from. Traditional schnitzels/steaks are available through to chicken or lamb skewers, which are always tasty and a favourite, once you develop the technique to get the meat off the skewers without burning your fingers ! Live music was being played later in the afternoon, which added to the atmosphere. Plenty of parking is available on site or in their second car park across the road, but it does fill up.

nice food with great environment. sofa is so comfortable as well. caesar salad with grill chicken was my favourite, desserts were fantastic.

Had the pleasure of dining at The Green House last week with 7 girlfriends for a birthday lunch...was absolutely fabulous! Attended to by the fabulous Caitlin who went above & beyond to make it a special occasion, nothing to fault...food, service & atmosphere plus! Such a great venue for any occasion!

This is my second visit this year after being impressed by a friend’s function here last December. The food was amazing back then, so I brought my family for dinner this time. The food was absolutely stunning. We ordered both skewers and the salmon dish, and everything was very satisfying. Highly recommend!

The food at the Feathers never disappoints. Generous servings and presentations are on point! Very friendly efficient service and surroundings are absolutely beautiful!

We had an enjoyable family lunch, first time visiting and very pleased with the food and service. Staff were very accommodating as we had booked inside but being such a nice day moved out into the beer garden. There were a couple small errors with the meals but staff were apologetic and quickly fixed them up. Food was tasty and the beer garden a modern but relaxing space to sit and enjoy a meal with the family.

I have been attending the Saturday Pilates at the Pav for the last 5 weeks which has been really enjoyable and Gabby from Glow Pilates has been a fab instructor. great initiative from organizers and we cant go past staying for breakfast after the session, recommend the smashed avo on toast.

My family and I attended the feathers pavilion this morning for breakfast. We were disappointed with the service and our food, we had a visitor from overseas and it was rather embarrassing. To begin with we ordered a simple pancake and they told us they would charge us an extra $4 for a small serve of maple syrup, this is ridiculous as no other cafe in Australia that does this. Not to mention the portion of the kids pancake is bigger than the adults. We asked for a lactose free ice chocolate, not only did we have to pay extrabut when we told the waiter she got our order wrong she showed us the receipt as if we didn’t know what we ordered, which is quite rude. The ice chocolate was also warm and had been sitting on the counter for several minutes before someone brought it to our table. When we ordered coffee we asked for a spoon and by the time we had finished eating breakfast they still hadn’t brought us the spoon. Our waitress was also impolite and had an attitude towards us. All we wanted was to enjoy a simple breakfast. Don’t recommend if service is important to you!

The Feathers was the perfect place for a pre-Christmas gathering. Great atmosphere, exceptional food, sensational wine selection. It was a busy day but the staff handled it with good spirit and cheerful service.

After ordering our meal at least 1 to 1.5 hours earlier it us now 840 and still no meal. You decide

Well what a night on Monday night! Booked dinner in the beer garden to be greeted to a Quiz night (I didn't know about it on booking) - oh no what to do?? Ask the staff and they bent over backwards to try to find another area for us to sit - found a great spot but was going to be a bit hard to eat - then after a couple of drinks - we were then given a great table to sit and have the rest of our evening. Well done team!

My Dad said the Turkey Mignon was the best he'd ever tasted.

Do yourself a favour and enjoy the fine atmosphere of our legendary Feathers Hotel; found in the heart of Burnside South Australia. Don’t say I told you about Wednesday Wing Night! The front bar staff are great - order your favourite drink from our bar keep the famous Ben Pierce and you will be smiling from ear to ear!

My book club meet each month for dinner in the restaurant. Easy to park, delicious food, easy to hear, excellent service.consistently great food over the past year.

Got to be one of the worst experiences I’ve had. Take away the fact that it was hot and the outside fans were turned off, but arrived for the booking only to find the table not reserved like others were. Then we got a table for six but needed chairs for the booked ten people. Table was filthy entree came out after nine people were into their main courses. Garlic bread we left as that last course had zero flavour. Never ever again. Could have bottled the tomato sauce on this pizza or poured it into a container !!!!!

At the terrace beer garden it was squishy and uncomfortable.Worst meal I have ever had I had pollo pizza and was tasteless like cardboard covered in sauce. My sister had prawn pizza we needed a magnifying glass to find the prawns her garlic bread came well after the meal they were very understaffed all our meals came out and at different times over 30 minutes and that is not okay and I we definitely won’t be back or recommend it to others

Tapas food is food but I find the mains consistently unappealing. It can be extremely loud in the beer garden. If you're into that atmosphere then it's for you, but if you're old and like to hear the people next to you without yelling, maybe avoid.

Cools spaces with a relaxed atmosphere. Food was delicious, pork ribs were a stand out.

I need to thank whoever tf it was that invented an Espresso Martini. I'm pretty sure it was Albert Einstein because it would take a genius to invent it or that other less important stuff Einstein did. One day he was like Yes I love coffee. Mmm I also love alcohol... Oh my god! COFFEE VODKA!" Then Id assume a marketing friend tipped him on the name "Espresso Martini" which frankly sounds much better than "Coffee Vodka". Anyway... Delicious espresso martinis right here and a great pizza. Staff are so friendly. Prices are on the expensive side for food. The company I had was the highlight for me ❤️ Always come to such a wonderfully decorated venue such as this with a beautiful woman like I did."

So paid 40 dollars for a beer and a schnitty. Didn't order the parmi - because it was 6 bucks more. Sit down, then find out it was parmi night and coulda had a parmi and a pint for 26 bucks. Staff never said anything, so I've been screwed. Won't bother coming back. Better food, better service and cheaper meals around.

Disappointed. The chaps at the bar made no attempt to let us know about the pint and schnitzel deal, so we ended up paying $39 for something that could’ve been $25. Disingenuous and unhelpful when approached about it. Just leaves a bad taste in the mouth, no pun intended.

Pleasant and efficient staff with smiles on their faces. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Highly recommended.

So disappointed! Mostly with the rude service from the young staff who clearly didn’t want to be there! Asked for a simple salad for dietary requirements & was told that wouldn’t be happening! Half of the meals for our table of 7 were ok & the others were unacceptable What made it even more upsetting was it was a family gathering after a funeral Won’t be going back!

The food here is a little pricey. Most nice pubs are like that. Beyond that though, they are a great pub. Well set up. Clean. Spacious. And the vibe is relaxing. I go there just to get a coffee and write and they are a great spot even for this.

We had the arancini and the wagyu schnitzel with mushroom sauce, a bottle of Coopers Sparkling Ale, and a glass of house wine all for $66. The food was excellent, and the place was lively. Service was par for a pub. The food came out very quickly after ordering everything from the bar. Ample parking.

My father ate at the Feathers for his birthday and made it very clear he had a nut allergy. They managed to feed him walnuts and he was rushed to hospital with a very bad reaction. Thankfully he is ok now, but this is unacceptable.

We chose The Feathers for our anniversary dinner. It seemed fitting, as The Feathers was where we chose to get married 40 years ago. The meal was delicious. Lamb skewer for Steve and Porchetta for me. Still room to share a Pavlova for dessert. Service was great and the staff were very friendly. A great place for a meal whatever the occasion.

I just recently had a function in the pavilion room, needless to say i cannot recommend having your next function here enough!! Between the amazing food & drinks to the outstanding team of staff they have!! WOW!! A special mention to Hadyn the event coordinator and Shane at the bar! They both were a breath of fresh air to work with! Super responsive and on the ball!! Thank you guys so much!!!
