Superb place to shop. Always bargains to be had. Very knowledgeable staff. First class service

Got what I needed

Such a nice jbhifi

What an absolute joke. Bought DJI mic mini for my partner with an iphone 13 after discussing with a gentleman who helped guide the purchase. Got it home, tried to get it connected, nightmare. Only came with a USBC connector, but the lightning connector… buy it online only (out of stock most places could find it) but now with a mic that didn’t work and my partner had an urgent video to compile for a client, made this useless. She made do with an XLR mic i had at home for the voiceover. Packed it up, returned and got met with the dreadfully genius excuse we’ve been hanging onto since C0V!D… “can’t return any items like this due to hygiene” in other words… here’s our trump card to keep your money. Got offered a gift card as credit. We’ll keep your money… for when you decide you might want us to give you something else for that money. Worst part, after standing at the front counter for 20 minutes awaiting help. They opened the product, inspected, all good, thanks mate… then they had to review the purchase date. Less than a month ago, guy says all good mate no issues with refund not a worry at all. Girl serving me (ava?) has me standing off to the side of the counter collecting dust while serving other customers just lining up (knowing? i assume so anyway… that i was waiting, as she originally served me before getting help from this guy) and an elder gentlemen also told her as well as a reminder hey, he’s awaiting response for this return thing. Still served more customers. Then sighs and goes “ah, break time” and goes to leave “ah wait, this guy, all good” then obviously internalising her frustration for being held from break now, gives me the cold “sorry protocol is no returns on this item due to hygiene” even after the other guy just said all sweet not a worry with a refund? She wanted to prove a point obviously and so no matter how soft i tried to approach her on the matter, she stood staunch. Me versus the customer mentality. I’m $200 out of pocket for a product that couldn’t be used and just wanted to return it to someone who COULD use it. She says what do you want? want me to get someone else? I told her i’m not sure i just got told i could be refunded and now i can’t so i guess if it’s a store credit then it is what it is right? she walks away, then comes back with the “yeah as i told you, no returns on this item due to hygiene” (speaking of which, it’s a lapel style mic so at worst case it would have been clipped to someone’s shirt, but you’ll return a laptop i’m guessing? that someone’s hands have been all over? Is that not worse under the “hygiene” category?) ANYWAY - a point was wanting to be proved and that you did. You win. You overturned your other staff member who said it could be refunded, and it couldn’t because you say so. (or he accidentally said the wrong thing which ironically… would have been the RIGHT thing to do by the customer) - this review is just here so you’re cautious when buying at JB. Ask if your product is in their secret list of “can’t return cause of hygiene” rule before you buy it. How about a playstation controller? What else i wonder falls under the can return vs can’t return category is there that makes absolutely no sense. Genius tactic to escape refunds, can’t even be mad about it really. (more than welcome to review your cameras on the 13th feb 2025 at approx 5pm onwards for the 30 minutes this episode lasted, just to see that i’m being 100% truthful about every single detail presented here) - Buying it at JB? make sure you ask if it can be returned or if they’ve got you checkmate with this “hygiene” no refund policy from the get go. (the more you think about this the more hilarious it is, as i walk out the store i see a clearance rack of them SELLING ex demo stock like TV’s and speakers that have been TOUCHED, dribbled on, smooched on, hugged, button pushed to infinity for the last however long, but oh we are SO worried about hygiene… no refunds on your 1 week old purchase sorry… BUT give us your money for this bacteria ridden ex demo 6 month old product… WHAT!)

Just bought a laptop, the young caucasian female staff are racist and quite rude, wouldn't let me hold the laptop at the counter (couldn't check the box for dents etc, the box is damaged) until I paid but didn't care about putting it in a bag so I didn't get robbed in the mall. Stroppy young caucasian female staff that do not value their customers!!! Will avoid buying from here in the future and find a company that teaches their staff the importance of good customer service - without customers you have NO jobs!! The mature staff seem to understand the importance of customer service!! See pic to show we paid full price for a repacked item that we didn't see prior to purchasing!!

Disrespectful and inconsiderate staff

I love this JB-HIFI the staff there are amazing, so friendly and not scary to talk to! And I love the team member named Isabella!! She is really good at her job, she explained the product well, she greeted me with such a welcoming smile, her communication was very great! Such friendly team members and would highly recommend coming to this JB-HIFI, there is never a day I don't see a happy smile on people's face in this store! Thank you so much.

I've bought several gadgets here

Pretty disappointing with customer service at this store. Salesperson agreed to price match online but only to change their mind at the end. At this point been I had been at the store for over an hour. If you cannot price match then don't say you do. Went back and forth about the colour of the phone which was not even a big deal but to them it is. The colour is not an exclusive colour but they didn't understand that all phones have the same margin. The manger Chris was not apologetic at all about the incident. Don't promise on a price when you cannot action it. Left the store and got a better deal online.

Had a great experience with great customer service from the blonde women in the earbuds section. (Sorry did not get her name). But then was met with not much joy at the counter. Should be consistent across the board.

I got a head set from JB Hi-Fi. It was a reasonable price and kindly staff.

Makayla was an absolute gem. I am setting up a home office and was absolutely lost. She answered all my questions with clarity that made sense and was lovely all the way through. :)

Please stop saying D-Links are the best router. Please upsell tp links instead. Most older models of D-Link Routers do not have SRA features. Please please stop upselling D-Links so hard.

I can't sing Anna's praises enough! She was truly exceptional in the phone/electronic department. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! From the initial phone call to our in-store visit, Anna went above and beyond to ensure we found the perfect product for our needs. She patiently walked us through various options, explaining features and benefits in detail. Despite my numerous questions and enquiries, Anna remained composed and helpful, making the entire experience seamless. The checkout process was also smooth, thanks to the friendly and efficient ladies at the counter. We were hesitant to visit on a weekend, especially since we were traveling from over an hour away, but Anna made it well worth the trip. We'll gladly make the drive to Coomera again instead of visiting our local store. Thank you, Anna, for an outstanding customer experience!

I was very disappointed with my experience today. The female staff member who served me was extremely rude and condescending. She made it very difficult for me to purchase the item I wanted. I am considering returning these headphones just to buy them from another store. This experience has completely ruined the joy of my purchase.

Coomera need to employ more staff or staff that at least acknowledge that you’re waiting

Have stock. Will not price match online prices after standing for a while. Other JB’s do. Don’t know why they don’t do it. The person on counter who could be shift lead didn’t even greet and was tired to walk to the registers because of me. Went back and another nice lady did it this time. Looks like the other big lady just couldn’t be bothered.

Quite possibly the worst experience I've ever had.

Stood around for 20 minutes being ignored, would be nice if they had more staff and trained them to at least acknowledge their customers even if they won’t serve them!

Good for a browse or a quick shop if you know what you need. A lot of stock.

Good store if you know what you want. Check pricing at other retailers first. Staff are never around and when they are, they rather talk to each other instead of helping customers. There was actually two people at the phone counter. I had to go up to them to get help, one was actually playing with a rubic cube while I asked for help

Greatest jb HiFi I've ever been to

I purchased an ASUS ROG laptop a few months back that had a wee drama by way of USB-C failure. I took my pc back and there were no dramas in replacing it. I have shopped here many times and have always had great service. Thank you team.

Just had fantastic service and information from Neil regarding getting internet etc. He knew I was only after information today but gave my the time and information I needed. We will definitely be back to give him our sale when we have sorted what best suits our needs. Please make sure he is recognised because that sort of service is hard to come by these days.

Recently went into the Coomera store to upgrade some of my equipment, Grace in the Games area was fantastic. Enthusiasm and Energy is everything and she provided all of that and more. Product knowledge was on point and she had experience with the items I was, and was thinking about purchasing. Grace keeping doing you, you were awesome! Thank you again for your help :)

Fantastic service yesterday and today from James Flett. Suggested I bring back faulty item and I purchased a more expensive item and additional batteries. His knowledge of products and customer service was superb. I hope he is recognised as such by management. Will definitely be in again!

Not helpful at all

Lots of great products on sale. We did a click n collect. Service was excellent.

To be blatantly ignored by ALL the floor staff is getting really old. I've been here several times, it's always terrible service.

Im always met with knowledgeable friendly staff if I ever shop here, but today, I received the absolute BEST service from Jess, in the games department! Answered all of my questions with ease and did her absolute best to price match. She left me so excited to get home and start my new Nintendo journey! Thanks so much Jess and team! 🤘

Went in yesterday buzzing to be in a store name I've been shopping at since the cd days of the early 90s and I got some tattoed short haired female staff member who kept insisting on me explaining what I wanted after being asked to leave me alone multiple times. This staff member claimed to be an IT section person, but had no idea what an OTG cable was, or if the USBC to usba cable I had was correct, and so I simply could find what I wanted if I was left alone to browse. She seemed to find this a challenge and and offense and kept hounding me till finally I left the store. I hope she reads this and learns to be more professional during business hours and keeping their personal nuances for more appropriate times.

There is no customer service in this store. The Gestapo at the front door should be stopped and put towards some customer actual service. Last time in this store as I can spend my money in better places

Helpful friendly staff

One of the worst jbs I've ever been in, staff are unhelpful if you are looking for anything they don't know or understand they will just spin a story and walk away. If you want to buy something they will lie to make the sale.

I bought a pair of ear pods about an hour ago, then went to gym and one fell out of my ear and into the stairs climber. This is the second time I have bought a pair from jb hi fi and this has happened. The best pair I didn't lose I bought from a small cheap phone shop.

The store is good as long as you don’t expect anyone to help you. Or if you do want help make sure you have allowed for at least 30-40 minutes to wait. The best service you will be here is by the security guard wanting to check your bag on the way out 👌🏽

Very bad asked if they could match a prive that another store quoted and she made out that could not be the girl was too busy telling her workmates that its her turn for a break and just ignoref me she also quoted its ok to buy from somewhere else then im gettong a better deal at harbour town and the staff have customer service no one go to coomera better deals at harbour town and helwnsvale
