Parma was good but that was it, chips cold, lemonade all water and cheese garlic pizza was all cheese and no garlic.

Local Sporting Club was a great choice for family dinner. Food and service was great friendly and warm staff together with well presented food and sizing was plenty to share .

A large group of us come to the bistro once a month for a meal and have been doing so for over 18 months, and would like to suggest a change to the seniors menu as it is always the same three dishes. The quality is good but we would just like a change ,perhaps rissoles or sausages or a pie would be great. Thanks

Great food and environment

I’ve always had lovely experiences here whether it be in the sporting club or on the golf course. It’s a lovely course with no sand bunkers - YAY and the members are all very friendly and welcoming. The sporting club staff are all friendly and the food is always great!

Played golf at Craigieburn today, was a great experience. From the staff behind the counter, who was very polite and helpful and the course is in great nick. Inside the staff are fantastic as well.

I had a bad experience with one of the staff there, she treated me with disrespect and a shameful insulting manner and when I spoke to the manager there he did nothing. They have very bad staff to deal with and I have proof of that via email

Wasn’t impressed with the male staff today. Told 3 times to hurry up today due to a Women’s competition that plays every Wednesday. Made the day stressful as I had a friend with me who was playing for the first time. Not a fun first experience. Ended up playing 9 holes and decided to leave. When returning the key he said to me he was happy to see us leaving. I nearly fell over at his arrogance and rudeness towards me as I was in no way rude to him. I have played at many clubs and have never been treated this way. Needless to say I will not return as I was looking for a new club to become a member. Should have read the other reviews first. Also perhaps don’t make a booking if you have competition golf on a Wednesday and use your brain so as not to chastise grown adults!!

I have been eating lunch here for a little while now and my partner and I have tried all different meals. To be honest, we cannot fault anything we have had. Today I went for the beef & cashew stir fry & he had the Pork & Prawn stir fry. We thoroughly enjoyed them.

I had the lamb shanks and they were dry had been pre cooked sitting there for a long time as she told me only 2 left, the food was cold not good

Great venue, very friendly staff and excellent service and meals ,the bistro is overlooking the golf course with great views.

Nothing more refreshing than a place that offers great service and great food. Waiters were on the ball with clearing tables so we were impressed. Janet at the desk was especially helpful when we asked about becoming members (only $5 per year and you get significant discounts on meals and a $20 voucher on the month of your birthday). It was our first time there so she explained all the benefits of The Sporting Club. Highly recommend coming here - you won’t be disappointed

Just changed my review from a 5 to a 1. That is what happens when you wait for half an hour, get hangry, get your money back and leave with no eating involved. Not a busy night, no apologies or anything like it. If anything - i think the manager was surprised that I was asking for my money back..... It is a Bistro......

I am revisiting my review. I have been going once or twice a week for some time now. The place is inconsistent. Some of the staff lack work place education and you are greeted with a blank looks. Inconsistent pricing due to training. Computer system goes down and the staff haven't been told by managers. Meals are overall good but not consistent. I was charged normal price during happy hour and staff member wasn't even aware that they even had a happy hour. When I enquire I was dismissed. As a member you get discounts however when the computer goes down you pay more, and are met by more blank looks . Surely if their computer system goes down there should be a backup up plan Charging customers more shouldn't be the solution. I might add, it hasn't been the first time. Craigieburn club , take the time to train your staff.

This place is very good. They got nice food here and it is such a big place with lots of space. It is very luxurious. With tvs with sports on them and another tv for the cameras in the play centre so you can watch your kids on the tv for safety. They got very nice food and nice staff. Very recommended

Went out for a meal today with the family for lunch as it was my brother's birthday, the food came out fairly quickly but there was a miscommunication with one of the orders which was mentioned as soon as it got brought through. Rather than offer the desired meal, the server just kind of stood there with a 'you going to just take this or what?' attitude and disagree with my mum at the table. We ate our meals and left but it kind of left a bad taste in our mouths, we've been going to this venue for over 20 years but you probably won't see us back for a little while.

Good place just to relax watch some sport's...or have a meal with family and friends I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful food is awesome but don't take my word for it get down there and have a look for yourself..happy eating

The pork and prawn stir-fry is to die for! Kids love the large playground. Membership is only $5 and saves on each meal!

Went their family, lovely meal plus grandkids loved the Play room

Tables in restaurant area are disgusting.....dirty and stained....and fraying....gross

Couldn’t ask for better service from Huss. Awesome manager. Props to Rachael for dealing with our crazy tables of 60 people!

Went for a wake, did ok job

Bistro - Food is SO good, they're quick to get it out, and the staff are always so friendly and happy to help. The playground for the kids is great, and we love they have little tv's up in the bistro so you can see the playground no matter where you sit. Prices are also terrific.

Great place for the kids to play and adults to have a good chat while eating Food was cooked well but no taste as had no seasoning at all, I had a 400g steak.

The food was lovely, and the prompt service was given by friendly staff.

Booked a table online, very easy. Yummy food. Soft drinks needs to be reviewed. Flat and not very nice.

Went for Pokies not impressed with it. As if you can't let people win a little. They put it back in machine anyway. 3 of a kind, get 5 cents most of the time. Not like it used to be.

Best time to go is during the day - perfect place to enjoy a creamy pumpkin soup, crispy cheesy nachos or a full breakfast meal. The service was delivered with smiles (and prices are family friendly, too!). After your meal, stroll outside and sit to blissfully take in the views of the calming (& immaculate) green!

We came to the sporties tonight for dinner and honestly it was absolute chaos ! If it wasn’t for the managers professionalism & competence… not sure we would come back ! As the food is just above par. He was so professional , polite and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome & at ease whilst rectifying all issues without a hassle. We look forward to coming back Thank you Huss you’re an absolute legend mate!

The food is fantastic staff are excellent and courteous. Cannot bet the prices member points is great as other places do that mean a thing. Ambience is really lovely highly recommend only criticism is the pepper save is like gravy not hot. Overall highly recommend cannot fault.

We were a table of ten 8 meals arrived 2 were a mix up in the kitchen and they didn’t come out until all other meals were finished we asked staff what happened , manager said you received them inside 30 minutes so don’t complain We didn’t receive them in that time but we were just after an apology but were dismissed as annoying Disgusting behaviour from management when their staff were actually apologetic

Lovely venue, great view overlooking golf course, nice inside and outside areas, great staff and nice food. Morning Melodies is well run and in a lovely spacious function room and draws a good crowd of a lovely community of people they are very inclusive and we have met lots of really nice people there.

It has been very disappointed today no dietary requirements and as this happened I payed $20 for a meal that I have an allergy to 🤬🤬🤬

First visit and our last. So disappointing. Awful meals and food cold, the plates weren't even warm. Only nice Item was the lemon tart desert. Waiter was unfriendly. The atmosphere felt like a nursing home.

Well, the proscetta was not nice. The ingredients were cut to small, and it went everywhere. The place was renovated. It looks good from when I came to many years ago.
