Ordered a steak and got a bunch of meat balls. Food was horrible, ended up really sick.

Please don't go to this hotel, they take your identity card and bank card, and do copying of them. They even do the back of bank card for three digits

Lovely spacious clean hotel, you only want the room for location(Parramatta Rd)and to sleep.

This was the worst hotel I have experienced! The room was extremely small, the aircon was leaking, it’s dusty, there was big ugly stain on the pillows and toilet was super dirty. I had to change the hotel!! 🤬

came here for dinner as i was staying in sydney with my partner and it is a hidden gem!!! food was amazing and well priced and the cocktails are to die for. if you ever find yourself in haberfield i absolutely recommend you come here!!!

I frequently stay here on business. The accomodations are well priced and the rooms compare to a high end hotel. The staff and managers are second to none and make you feel welcome and your needs well taken care of. The pub is clean and a wonderful place to watch sports or hang out with friends and colleagues. Recently they re opened their food service and wow its good. There are daily specials and the menu is filled with a variety of tasty eats. The tacos are exceptional and rival tacos from California taco trucks. the burgers and schnitzel are also amazing and I can't wait to try something new next time. I highly reccomend coming here to stay or to enjoy a night out with friends.

Not good was enjoying myself until I placed my wallet on a machine and the winnings that I had were wiped over 50 dollars after trying to explain to staff that I hadn't touched anything was told my fault and they were not going to replace money taken will not be going back or recommending it to anyone foind the management to be rude and well lost a customer thanku

Horrible hotel with staff that lack brain cells. Avoid at all costs. No life around. Pub is always empty. No restaurant. Gronks watching football and screaming. Idiot residents whining about noise. Rooms look like they were designed by a 2 year old. Air con old and doesnt work. Fridge wasn't plugged in. No Chromecast. I could go on but I'm bored already.

Stayed there overnight recently, rooms were reasonable for the price and considering it is a Pub room, not luxury accomodation. The bed was comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. Hallway Decor looked a bit like it was a brothel at some stage. Had a few beers in the bar and staff were friendly and beer was icy cold and delicious with a good selection to choose from.

The room is clean. The rooms are above the bar and the hotel is at the corner of an intersection. There is not really a place to park a car. Plus the rooms does not come with an attached toilet. This is a shared common bath and toilet hotel. Plus the rooms can get really noisy due to the bar and the main road.

If you are looking for a nice pub with only drinks with mates or partners go there the best cocktails maker is johnny

Had a wonderful time staying at the Illinois hotel overnight with my son despite the weather. Both my son and I felt very safe and secure whilst staying at the Illinois hotel. All staff and management were very accommodating as well very understanding to our needs during our stay. Our room was very well presented, clean and the beds where very comfortable. Will be staying at the Illinois hotel in the near future. Illinois hotel is definitely worth every single cent I paid.

Stayed for one night after a concert at Accor stadium. It's close enough and reasonably priced. Rooms are small but clean. Shared bathrooms were also clean. Lots of street noise and lighting in the room I was in

I had such high hopes for this place to become my local, but it is nothing but a let down. The place lacks any sense of warmth, atmosphere it will to succeed. For some reason (well, actually, I don know) these guys refuse to show any football and prefer to show NRL matches played months ago rather than show a Sydney FC match live. Given the demographics of this area, it’s not surprising how few people are ever there. This area also has a growing number of people from the UK, so you’d think they would get an Optus Sports subscription and show some Premier League matches. I guess they love having their super quiet and boring pub that no one goes to.

Absolutely disgusting. Filthy rooms, other people hair and grime everywhere. Former brothel, cameras in the ceiling (which flashed all night) covered by a plastic bag. Bathrooms were filthy. No window to open so no ventilation and room smelt so strongly of smoke I had a headache. Hands down worst place I have ever stayed.

Hôtel plutôt confortable, rapport qualité prix ok. Toilettes et salle de bain propres pour des sanitaires partagés, manque des étagères dans la douche. Bel espace extérieur, facilité pour se garer et prendre le bus qui est à proximité. Point négatif : comptoir d’accueil inexistant, pas d’ascenseur, bruit de la route constant car pas de double vitrage, porte des toilettes difficiles à ouvrir car lourdes et se referment seules, pas de papier ou sèche main dans les toilettes.

Does jugs, but also lacks jugs (iykyk)...Good service, very modern interior. Does jugs, but only for select drinks. Lots of pokies. Not very busy for 6pm on a Saturday. Also has personalised beer coasters.

Came here for Burgerhead, burgs were 10/10. But the atmosphere is a lacking, could do with some upbeat music or even pool tables to pull a bigger crowd. The renovations look nice, so much potential

Bit unusual for a big sports bar out of the city. Guinness on tap, 15 dollar cocktails, large dog friendly beer garden for sports. Massive screens for sports. Overall: a good dog friendly placd to go for a drink when sports are on. Only downer is that it’s pretty quiet, hasnt got a warm suburban pub feel. Hasnt got much of a buzz unless theres a big game on.

No ventilation in rooms, no windows To open, aircons are layered with dust and mould including fridge. Prepare to stay up all night itching and digesting dust and mould.

Nice Hotel. Showers and toilets outside the room. We knew it when it booked. If you know it beforehand, no issues. Nice service. Cassino downstairs for you to have some fun. Clean nice red carpet on the stairs that go up to the rooms.

Great place for food and drinks after work

We stayed here after an Ed Sheeran concert, and were charged $344.00 for the night. The room was basic, however the doonas did not have covers on them and the room was dusty. The pillows were shocking too. The bathrooms and toilets were really grubby, with lots of hair in the drain and no soap or paper towel in the shared bathrooms. Room was also grubby and dusty. Would not recommend, particularly at the price point we were charged.

Pointless having such a large beer garden , then capping it at max 20pax (guessing local residents issue) Won't be returning sorry.

I felt inclined to leave a review. Went to watch the NBA game which was a big occasion as Lebron James was about to break the scoring record. Obviously we wanted to watch it and have the volume on for just the game but the bartender was rude and decline saying the music was on. It was an easy fix to change the volume but I could tell he has no interest in helping or changing. I enjoy coming to this pub as it’s close by but if I see that bartender again I’ll walk the other way. I do also want to say the pub staff on other occasions have always been nice.

Dog friendly, helpful staff very nice

Stayed here for 3 nights in December. Accommodation was great for the price! The room was nice and spacious and the shared bathrooms were always very clean. We also ate at the pub during our stay and the food was lovely.

The place looks great. It is super clean. The staff were very friendly. The food is good and the mozzarella sticks were great. We'll be back.

My stay here was great, the service here tries the best they can to help, room service was very kind and efficient, and most importantly the place is extremely clean, i loved the showers and bathroom. And there was a woman that made a few very lovely coffees for me. The only problem i had was with the othere residents, i was startled in bed by someone bashing on a door somewhere and the walls were very thin. Other than that the place was great for emergency accommodation and i highly recommend.

Preferred it when the naked girls were there

Came to the pub Christmas party, place totally empty, all the free food, a few party pies got given to the 5 locals, what a big mistake to come here tonight.

Lovely clean and spacious place to come and eat, drink, laugh and good times. Big screens are awesome and should be shared in garden bar too be even better! Food was fast $15 for 1kg buffalo wings go off! Not too spicy not bland! Love the little container out front very nicely placed and functional. Grand final however a great vibe.. sorry to say long queues for drinks and food with only 3 bartenders! Honestly need to get that right for these big events. Good bunch of people nevertheless, friendly staff and patrons big personalities ☺️😊

Fantastic place for UFC I could see it everywhere I looks I lost count of how many different TV and big screens i could see.

First time back after five years, and it's a welcome improvement from what it was before with good atmosphere, good food choices and well priced beer. What more can you ask for in Five Dock.... I know → how about starting renovations on the Five Dock hotel.

Service is fantastic. Highly recommend.
