Had lunch here with the girls and we all absolutely loved it! The food was 10/10, would highly recommend the vodka pasta, such a classic. Service was just fantastic, Jade our waitress made sure that we all had a great experience, and that we left with our tummies full!

The food is always really good, the staff are always lovely, and the coffee is the best. Pet friendly, outdoor seating. Easy, free parking. We love the “small town” friendly atmosphere and is definitely our go to place for dining out and we often drop in for coffee and cake when we are shopping at the IGA next door.

Edit 21/02/25 We came back for their ‘Night in Germany’ dinner event and the food and service was once again incredible! Despite it being very busy the waitresses were still kind and helpful. And that apple strudel, omg…if it was a regular menu item, I would come by every week just to eat it lol. Their carbonara is amazing and actually traditional which seems to be hard to get around here! Generous with the guanciale and they hand made the pasta as well. The pizzas my fam got were great also with a nice thin crust. Our waitresses were so friendly. Thanks for a delicious meal!

Absolutely do not go here! I bought my girlfriend here for a nice valentines dinner, and although it was understandably busy, it still took way too long to be served, as the staff very obviously had higher priorities than serving customers. The waitress serving me, harmony I believe, seemed to be too preoccupied gossiping with one of the other ladies on shift to help us with our order, and when she did end up serving us, she was extremely standoffish and unpleasant, and was extremely rude when we asked questions about the food. After an absurd amount of time we received our food, and it seems the kitchen had as little care for our satisfaction as the waitresses did, as the food was seemingly thrown together and lukewarm. Terrible food, terrible service, terrible employees, terrible experience and an overall terrible restaurant. Will not be back anytime soon.

Went he a couple days ago and was really disappointed, food was decent at best, but the service was just terrible, never met such rude staff, a women by the name of Bianca was working the night I went and she was so blunt, and so rude, she clearly doesn’t want to be there, and is a complete mood kill, ruined my whole night.

The worst Valentines experience of my life. The service was appalling, ignored many times, people who came in after me where served before me, complete chaos, while i understand how Valentine’s Day can be stressful, it didn’t give the workers a right to disrespect me, and be outright rude to me for just simply my presence, completely unprofessional to be treating customers like that as I was hit with sarcasm when asking about the food or menu items, clearly Bianca and harmony( workers of the night) are not suited for hospitality, stay away from this disappointing and appalling place!!!

Came in yesterday for a quick breakfast, young girl Amber, super friendly greeted me with a lovely smile and took my order. Coffee was made quick and was great, Amber recommended me her favourite cake the snickers slice which was delicious. Will definitely be coming back to the Rise, and again shoutout to Amber she is amazing

We came here for valentines day, and have also been here a time before. The wait staff are super lovely. I believe the food coming out of this kitchen is fantastic, and the cooks deserve recognition for consistent quality work. The special valentines menu was well curated and excellently executed. Stopped in for a coffee yesterday and was greeted by the lovely girl on the coffee machine, Amber. Service was fast and the coffee was the best I have had. Perfect temp and perfect amount of froth. All the girls there yesterday were super friendly. Great place to go for coffee and food.

The food and coffee is good but what let's it down is the customer service. Very rude girl.

Stopped by for a lunch and was very satisfied with the food and drink we ordered. Steak was cooked to perfection, only tiny thing is it was a bit over salted. My scallop linguine was great as well. Chilli, garlic and chive really brought out the flavour of seafood.

A really nice place in a nice location with excellent food. I can vouch for the ITALI-AVO. It was supurb. My daughter had the big breakfast and she loved it. I'll be going back for sure.

Had dinner here on Friday night. The venue is very clean and neat and pleasant to eat in. The food (pizzas and pasta) were fresh and served quickly, and were delicious. The menu variety is great. One thing I loved was that all the waitresses were so beautifully groomed and very polite too!

Popped in for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. The food was exceptionally delicious, and the coffee was fantastic, I'll be back in a hurry as there are ample options to try out!

I stopped here spontaneously with the family for lunch, expecting a run of the meal cafe lunch... I was pleasantly wronged. The pizza was some of the best I have had in years, and my wife agreed, I had the prosciutto and salami and my wife had the mushroom, both were sensational and well balanced. The bases were made fresh, including the gluten free one we ordered, and as any pizza lover knows, the base is the main ingredient. I had a coffee which was fantastic and my wife had an italian soda. The waitress kindly gave my daughter some pencils and a colouring sheet when we arrived, and their high chairs were spotless. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. You can also see the chef making your pizzas which is a nice touch, I like to be able to thank the chef after a beautiful meal. The atmosphere is that of a modest cafe, which makes it inviting for families. The prices were very fair; both of our pizzas were around $30, plus we fed both our kids and took some home. Also, for anyone with gluten intolerances, they have a huge range of gluten free options and the gluten free pizza base was the best I've ever had. Great job The Rise, we shall return.

Lovely place, ate a good ham and cheese toasty.

We ordered takeaway pizza a couple of times .. really traditional and high quality toppings which is important to us. Wood fired can be soggy in the middle but not here .. they have the cheese / sauce ratio perfectly balanced . When I ordered I was told by staff about a longer than usual wait .. and my order was just out when I went there to pick up and timing was perfect. We may have to book a table and eat in next time . Thank you for such a positive takeaway experience!

The pizza was great. However, the pasta could be better. A bit of confusion with the bill but at the end all good. Recomended for pizza.

I’m a Narre North local so feel privileged to have the only local restaurant serve such great food. The new chef has made a great addition to the team and the food is amazing. Had some great lobster here that was cooked to perfection.

We had an exceptional dinner at The Rise! I was craving woodfire pizza and a cocktail - The Rise had both and certainly satisfied my cravings! They also have vegan cheese with a couple vegan/vegetarian options, which is why I chose to come here. Keep the vegan cheese coming please! Will definitely be back here again soon :)

Enjoyed the monthly steak special tonight. What a bargain. Decent sized sirloin steak, béarnaise sauce, loads of fries and a salad plus either a glass of the house beer on tap or house wine for only $30!!! Will definitely be going again especially for their monthly steak specials.

We are regulars here. Lovely place with mostly great food. The pizza is great! Service is friendly although i think staff training is possibly lacking in the small things like making sure customers have cuttlery and water before or at the same time that food is served.

Unfortunately the sandwiches were terrible, old bread, brown avocado. Tasted like it had been frozen.Could not eat them and coffee was all froth. Service is good

I love going to the rise for their woodfire pizza. We've had a few hiccups with food and drinks, but the staff have always fixed the issue or not charges us for the items. It's definitely one of my favourite places to eat at.

GF item’s only labeled as that. Ingredients obviously not! Waitress asked if GF was due to coeliac disease and that they are aware and do try their best to ensure no cross contamination….was extremely sick so obviously this was not the case at all, Ingredients is also a problem!! Plenty of restaurants around Melb have an understanding of GF and coeliac disease and I have never had a problem. This place clearly has no clue. Food was avg. Get rid of your GF labels….

Had a late afternoon coffee sesh with some friends. We were very scattered with our order. Jade, the friendly staff has highly peraonable and proffessional and made our experience here memorable. Great staff choice.

Very delicious meal we had here. At the time there was a set menu, lots of options and everything was very tasty. We have had their pizzas and pastas previously, and have been back a number of times. The only negative is that they don't have their own toilets and have to share with the centre.

Disgraceful service at 8.30am this morning 15 minutes at a table and totally ignored by waiting staff who were not busy and swanning around chatting.

The Rise Pizzeria Cafe is a favorite for my partner and me. The food is consistently amazing, and the floor staff's service is top-notch. Our go-to spot for a delightful dining experience!

We have become regular customers of this fabulous pizzeria. There is no comparison. This is the best pizza you can get in the region. Possibly even the state. The Prosciutto E Rucola constantly amazes. Every time we order this perfection circle we are blown away by how good it is. The ingredients are top quality. It is always cooked flawlessly. This is the GOAT. The Queen Margherita is a close second. Wonderful. I would attach a photo but we are them too quickly! I simply don't understand how anyone could give this food a bad review. It's objectively amazing!

I was served by the bubbly and attentive server Angela. As I was only in for a quick coffee, Angela tempted me with maybe having a small bite to eat, Angela suggested the ham and cheese toastie knowing I did not have a lot of time. I will happily return here again, hopefully I get served by Angela again, all cafes could do with an Angela.
