It's just an electronic store no dvd movies staff told me have to go to Melton or Watergardens.

A super extreme friendly, and yet helpful and professional. Dylan helped me to check my faulty camera, then come up with solution and help me to get a different one. Which I am super happy and save me lots of time. Thank you again and much much appreciated your help!!! Highly recommended.

Very bad customer service, JB Hi-Fi shows price match guarantee but one lady today’s said we can’t do it. This is strange happened with me first in jb hifi burnside.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Would go back again and again because of that.

Good store but staff need to be courteous towards customers. Also make sure all products on display should be working, when asked for soundbar it was mentioned that it doesn't work so maybe try some other.

Went in to look at buying a new TV, with zero TV purchasing experience, and Dave was a massive help. Showed us all the models in the price range we were looking at and zeroed in on exactly what we wanted. Price matched where we could, booked everything in for installation, and left very happy, albeit a few thousand dollars poorer. Thanks Dave!

Better customer service than most of the other JB hifi.

Went on Sunday 20th October 2024 to return an e scooter and warranty on a robo vac. John helped us from beginning to end, we bought a new robo vac and phone with the help of Steve G, he was teaching John the process and we were happy to help as they both had the patience and time to help, and explained everything to us. After over 2 hour of sorting stuff, and buying stuff we left very happy and full of knowledge. A huge thank you to John who also showed empathy with my son who has ADHD and Autism. Thank you

Experienced the best customer service ever from a guy working here. Helped me out with finding a shorter AV cable for me to buy, he went to get a step ladder to find one from stock behind the shop floor, searched online through the catalogue of stock, and even though a shorter cable wasn't located he went to the effort of giving us a discount, all done with excellent customer service and was very happy and had a laugh with us. Keep this worker at all costs he is an asset to your store, made my day. Thank you

Helpful Staff

I am writing to express my frustration with a recent experience at your store. I made a purchase of $3500 at your Burnside JB hi-fi, but the customer service I received was far below expectations. The manager, Luke, was unable to assist with current offers or provide adequate support for my purchase. This lack of product knowledge and unhelpful attitude has made my shopping experience very disappointing. I was expecting better service, especially considering the size of my purchase.

Steve is true “GEM” to this store. This wonderful gentleman helped me find I have had repair warranty on previous purchased Samsung JET90 vacuum which I didn’t know I has, and also help me lodge repair claim. And, of course Elise is Store Manager to deal with. Always ready to the customer extra mile. Thanks to team JBHiFi Brunside.

0 regard for people with special needs. Attended with a double pram and was told to manoeuvre the pram through the pay que zigzag. Icing on the cake when at the counter, I was told to move the pram because the person at the other counter needed more space. Well, this is why I first inquired what they wanted me to do because I knew my twin pram would come in the way, but was told to follow the path. Absolute disregard for humanity by the staff.

I was recently served by Yanus at the JB Hi-Fi Burnside store, who appeared to be quite new in his role. While I understand that new staff may require more time to get up to speed, I was disappointed with the lack of a standard protocol when it came to my return. I was attempting to return a fan that arrived cracked, and it was clear that it was not my responsibility to point out the crack. If the store needed to verify the damage, they could have simply taken the fan out of the box and inspected it themselves. Instead, I was asked to unbox and rebox the fan, which I reluctantly did to avoid causing any issues, but I found it to be unprofessional and inefficient. Overall, the experience felt disorganized, and I’m uncertain about the training or hiring criteria for staff at this store. While I’m patient with new employees, the process was far from what I would expect from a professional retail environment. Hopefully, future experiences will be smoother.

I am giving this 4 stars because the case was really dusty but the service was amazing and they were really nice

Honest to God, the staff here is one of the friendliest, most helpful i have ever seen....ever!. Knowledgable, kind and crazy helpful. 10/10! Thank you for the wonderful service guys! The washing machine guy is a wizard who recommended us the best one for our needs and gave us the best price in the market.

I was lost in the store walking around looking for a very long time and when asked for help, worker was too busy chatting to another worker. Workers passed us several times eyeing us giving us suspicious looks. Would not recommend shopping here if you are a person of colour, or if you want a helping hand looking for items.

Get Blake a raise, best service received from JB by far. Walked in the store on a Sunday and greeted with that lovely smile. I was looking for a phone and Blake convinced me to get the iPhone16 pro with the $99 Telstra package, instead of the iPhone SE after he kindly explained the pros and cons plus the price to value ratio. Very happy customer, pleased with my purchase. 10/10 would return.

Kudos to Blake for helping me with getting the pixel 9 pro. It was out of stock, but he manage to arrange a delivery within the next 2 days. Will come back for more phone purchases.

Hi I bough a TV i like TV No. Happy though cable come in the Box cable from TV to the wall should come in the Box and When tune in some chanells are skipping from 3 to 7 wonder why. The Jbhifi no good place to buy TV Now again problem when turn the TV on Only black picture.

Superior customer service!!! I purchased a Breville coffee machine and noticed a puddle of water under the machine on a daily basis. After finally investigating, realised it was leaking from the electrical cord attached to the machine. The warranty was out by about 2-3 months, but I requested JB to send it away as this was now an electrical hazard and dangerous for us to use. Breville rejected request to repair at no cost and wanted to charge $389.00 for service and clean. Machine did not need either, and this was clearly a manufacturing fault, which could cause serious harm to customer. The cost exceeded purchase price of $299.00. I was shocked they did not consider customers safety first and they sent back to JB store. JB paid for the assessment cost and also offered a full refund. The customer service was outstanding, providing updates and understanding toward our situation. Very grateful for a good outcome, thanks to all the staff who assisted.

Great place just looking around

Rubbish customer service, portable computer was only 4 weeks old, legs snapped when it was put down but they refused to repair under warranty claiming it was accidental damage. In the future I'll be shopping at Harvey Norman

I sales guy who was friendly and helpful gave me the wrong advice. I paid for delivery and installation. But when the delivery got here they did not install. I then rang jbhifi and it was confirmed the staff gave me wrong advice.

See Marcus at burnside jb hifi absolutely amazing, knows his stuff, clear, detailed and informative. Also very attentive knowing the customers needs. He definitely has my business.

I went to purchase a head phone for my daughter yesterday to remplace the exact one I purchased at Burnside a month ago in a special at that store. I had the receipt with me. I spoke to a lady that after I learned that she was a supervisor. She told me that she doesn’t have a key and will send somebody to help me. A young man come and I showed him the receipt and I ask about the price and he said he could take down one dollar. I drove 40 kms from home to come to my home store. I thought one dollar was a bit low and he said that he would ask a supervisor. The same lady come and she in a sarcastic tone that they don’t do rain check on prices and for the young sales person to look after me with the dollar discount. I left out of principle as I could have got the same headphones from Amazon delivered next day to my house for the same price at burnside store. I would not purchase it at that store ever again and later I drove from home and went to another store further away from home about 50 kms. As I walked in the security lady witn great customer service took me to the head phones and called some one for me and I didn’t have go looking for someone like I did at burnside. Young salesman saw the invoice from burnside and I explained that was for my daughter that has lost it the same model. He helped me out and he sold me the extended warranty and their customer service was excellent. He managed to keep my business at jb hi fi instead of purchasing from Amazon and now I changed from burnside to the other near by store. I would recommen buying from burnside store but to check the customer service experience in other JB stores in the west part of Melbourne.

Visited the Burnside store and I was assisted by Nathan who provided superb customer service. He made sure I was attended to without being pushy. Was very honest with his advice and did his best to find answers to my techy questions. I was very happy with the excellent customer service. Manager to purchase a few things for my work from set up.

I would heavily recommend dealing with Steven and Fabian for their amazing customer service and experitse in their fields of whitegoods and entertainment. Fabian was honest in his shortcomings of whitegoods and refered to Steven who provided great knowledge while being practical to our needs and budget. Fabian was able to share his experience in entertainment to best futureproof our technology. Enjoyed the service and left knowing we were taken care of by their great staff. Kudos to Steven and Fabian.

I don’t recommend this store, Their delivery drivers does not have a common sense.

Visited the store to purchase a new phone and was assisted by the fantastic Ryan - he is extremely helpful, knowledgable and patient. I left with my new phone completely set up, couldn't have been easier! Amazing service, will definitely be a return customer. Thank you Ryan!

Nice jb hi fi placed randomly in the middle of the road lol. I like coming here because it's not over crowded and not to loud, so I have space to think and see what I want to purchase etc. Staff here are pretty nice too

Disappointed this store doesn't stock DVD's and Bluray's, but otherwise good store.

I met today John and he was super nice and cooperative and knowledgeable.

I bought a pair of ear buds and 5 months later one of them started having issues with the speaker. I went in they made sure the software was up to date which it wasn't so update was done, issue wasn't rectified and the easiest process of an exchange pair was made, no interrogation, they were extremely helpful and happy to help best experience with an exchange item I've ever experienced well done.

Stephen in gaming was very helpful today at Burnside. Great customer service often hard to find now days, appreciate it.

I had the worst experience with this branch. 2 months ago they sell me a faulty Galaxy ultra S24 phone. When the phone died only 5 weeks after purchase. Their after sale customer service was the worst. After asking 100's of support documents to review a decent compensation, they come back and offer nothing compare to my loss. They are very unprofessional, I had to deal with 3 different store managers till I reach to area manger, it was all a waste of time. I would not recommend anyone to give them any business till they change their attitude and respect their clients more.

Was assisted by Hakan and couldn’t be happier with my experience, he was extremely helpful and kind and was able to grab me everything I needed and gave me a great price!

This is our go to when we need anything electronic, mobile phone or tech related. The service we've received here is exceptional! If you need anything from JB Hi-Fi and find yourself at this location, ask for Hakan, he'll take care of you. He's very knowledgeable, the man knows his stuff! He is the reason why we shop in this store.

This JB HI-FI store has the worst customer service, when I went into the store the staff would not even respond to me or acknowledge my existence when I asked them for assistance. I was told someone would come and assist us but even 5 min later no one came, keep in mind there was one other customer in the store just browsing. Do not come here if you want to buy a product. When I went to DFO jbhifi the service was fantastic even though the store was busy, I recived service as soon as I walked in.

Shoutout to Miguel for the ace service. Was happy to help and accomodate me. Someone give this man a raise.

First time going to the Burnside store because they had an item in stock that other stores didn't have. I organized a click and collect through the website and I was amazed at how quickly they picked the order - literally 1min after confirming the payment to being able to collect the item in store! Haha And when I went into the store, the gentleman at the counter was super friendly and found my order instantly. Very happy with this stores service!

Had to wait 5-10 mins searching for a staff member who wasn’t busy(boxing day, so fair enough). But overall they were quick and had good knowledge about the products I wanted to buy.
