Food has been consistently great, and I have ordered the same thing more than once with no differences in quality or flavours. Great prices and great serving sizes. Schnitzel nights on Thursdays will be a regular for our family, and the creme brulee is the best I have had. We are really happy with the price also, prices don't seem to have changed much in the 10+ years it has been since we visited last.

An extremely friendly atmosphere. Big smiles from the moment we walked in . And it was all genuine. True Aussie feel at home and we look after you people.

Had a wonderful dinner with family and was really surprised how busy they were for a Wednesday night. Will definitely come again.

Nice place to duck out of the rain and have a few beers dog friendly garden bar so if it's raining it's a bit of a worry but all in all it was nice to chat with the locals over a few cold ones

This place is just unreal. A relaxed country type pub with an awesome outdoor area. I don’t know who is running this kitchen, but the food is just heads above any pub food going around. There’s such a great variety, some awesome specials and it’s easily restaurant quality food. Staff were awesome, drinks fairly priced, food was unreal. Couldn’t recommend more!

My favourite go to particularly Sunday afternoon live music sesh and the raffles. Food is always good. And a good mix of locals and visitors. Also good place to have a punt, but I miss the pool table.

We love the Jacobs Well Hotel, and recently, they have made changes to their outdoor area. It is a relaxing and inviting environment. The food was delicious (as always), and the staff are always friendly. It's a great upgrade to a great destination.

Nice pub and beer garden. Live music, clean and nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, our pizza was salty, soaky, and worse than any supermarket pizza. The fish with not well cooked potatoes was not even average. Pity. Kitchen chef needs to review his meals urgently.

Dinner on Tuesday 10/12 was not upto the taverns standard. The lamb on skewers was just hard to bite and not at all palatable. The seafood dish caused me a bit of grief . Service as usual the best.

A Birthday lunch with friends. Great food and service from friendly staff. Would have been better if a few more vegetarian meals such as a salad, veggie burger was available. Even so highly recommended.

The food was well above the average for this area. Most disappointing were the extra charges for using my bankcard. I was charged $21.67 for an $18 cocktail with no warning. We ordered several other drinks and meals and were charged each time for a bankcard not credit card. This is just clipping the ticket and a rip.off. Very disappointing because the meals and drinks weren't cheap

Kay Hamwood The Thai green curry mussels I had for lunch today were top shelf, absolutely divine. Every element of this dish was full of flavour. Try them next time you visit the Tavern, you will not be disappointed

I do like this especially the inside bit but the beer garden outback needs the refurb

Just popped in for a quick lunch.. BLT with chips just so tasty, chips crispy .and let me also say the young girl that took our order was so polite ..great smile and made us feel so welcomed also wishes us a great day when leaving..such an asset to your small but inviting tavern we shall return. 😊

We had lunch here what a disappointment paid over 20 for hotdog that wasn't worth it!!

The pizza has to break some kind of war crime it was horrible who puts onion and ham with basil on a pepperoni pizza? The cheese felt like plastic, and the sauce felt liquidy. Service is good though and the fish tank is a nice touch

Went down to the tavern tonight, and usually the food is unreal but tonight was super disappointing, cold chips, seafood pasta we ordered the seafood wasn’t fresh at all and tasted not right, chilli pizza was cold and had very minimal chilli. Very disappointing. Only great thing about the night was the band

Love the fish tank feature, relaxing atmosphere. Kids friendly and fast service. Delicious food and deserts. There's no much parking but you can park across the road.

I don't normally order a steak when I go out as I don't want to get disappointed by what I feel I can cook better at home, but this time I did and man, I was impressed.! For a pub feed, this steak was high end, restaurant quality. 10/10. It had to be a good cut but more importantly, I feel it was cooked by someone who knew how to get the best out of it. It was matched with a Dianne Sauce that also had time put into it. I definitely recommend. A great place with awesome service. All our meals I feel, exceeded the money we spent.

We thoroughly enjoyed a relaxed dinner here on Thursday evening. We sat on the deck as we brought our dogs with us. Meals were delicious and service was excellent. Definitely returning!!

Great old-style pub atmosphere and the Thursday trivia might is a ton of fun. Meals are huge, reasonably priced and service is good even on busy nights.

Wow what a great place to come for a meal, so impressed with the customer service, Thank you Jess our server who went above and beyond for us, the atmosphere was so so relaxing, family orientated, historical themes, loved their decor reflecting the fishing community, very very clean facilities, food was absolutely fantastic, we had battered barra and garlic prawns wow! Portions were so generous, perfectly cooked loved the home made tartare sauce, chefs deserve a massive thumbs up! We will definitely return to try your other dishes, we also noticed other patrons dishes that looked absolutely delicious! Paying for what you get👍

First time to Jacobs Well Bayside Tavern and the last, ordered the Rib fillet burger and best of luck trying to bite through the steak, If the cook can't keep an eye on the hot plate then get out of the kitchen

This was our 2nd visit. The food was good, even though the accompanying salad was dry. The men's urinal was totally unique.

Busy day food and service was slow, chicken wings were dry, everything else was good
