Breakfast was more of a hit than lunch! Got the eggs Benny and its filling and super yummy! Normally being pregnant I can scoff down the whole dish and still be a little peckish, but this time I had to leave without clearing my plate I was that full! Definitely recommend the eggs Benny and ice coffee! ♥️♥️ Will be back to try the rest of the breakfast menu 🤤

My wife and I and some friends had dinner there last night 1/2/25. The meals were great, and a generous serving. All the staff were very friendly. The young lady bartender was great, nothing was too much trouble, she had time for a quick chat and a laugh. A very pleasant evening. Would recommend. 10/10.

Today i had a wonderful dining experience at the Royal Hotel. Kitchen staff were friendly. The food (Salt and pepper calamari and schnitzel) was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was charming. Highly recommend!

I recently visited Royal Hotel Taree and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was amazing and inviting, the service was top-notch, and the food was absolutely delicious. I tried the Rib-eye steak it was cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were generous and the flavors were bold and satisfying. I will definitely be returning in the future and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

Delicious snitzel at the Royal! I phoned ahead as we were travelling and I was able to pre order for our arrival time. We were kindly provided with cutlery and the food was delicious will definitely be back!

Lovely little find on our road trip to Sydney. Had the rump steak lunch special and it was tender and cooked to perfection. Delicious mushroom gravy and the kids chicken nuggets were also a hit! Lovely back area overlooking the water. Highly recommend!

Terrible service from the kitchen today at lunch time the guy working at the counter, sets our table buzzer off and it was a false alarm , sets the buzzer off again after waiting 50 mins and they wernt even busy after making our lunch later to discover the buzzer goes off again and the guy I was with meal was ready but mine wasn’t ready, he said it’s not fare off it’s coming, 25 mins later I ask again and he said he gave my meal to the wrong customer while in the mean while 5 other people finished there meals that where served after I ordered, then got mine finally to find the chicken was rare and the service representative had attitude when informing him, terrible service I don’t recommend anyone go there. Disgraceful

Do yourself a favour and head to the royal for dinner. It’s the best most reasonably priced meal in Taree. My wife and I go every Tuesday for trivia night, which by the way is a hoot, and ensure we order dinner. I can personally say the 400g T-Bone is one of the best I’ve ever had. The staff are awesome and the whole place has a great atmosphere.

We had a wonderful date night with fantastic food and friendly staff. I highly recommend the pasta bosciola, just delicious 😋 And big thanks to the chef for allowing us to order 2 minutes past closing (we went by the website 9pm close, which has since changed to 8pm with new owners).

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The food was very reasonably priced and of exceptional quality. We could only just fit in the chocolate volcano cake, which was beautiful - we were stuffed! The kids loved this place - very high praise from some picky eaters!

Cheap meals, however, Directly across from the kitchen is a smokers area with the door propped open. Entire venue smelling like cigarette smoke and causing my family to sit outside in the cold. Required to come up and collect meals of substandard quality, even ordered a second meal as the first wasn’t palatable, which was just as standard. Also paying over $2 extra for one cardboard takeaway container for the uneaten meals. Staff were friendly though and the venue was tidy and spacious.

It's a run of the mill standard pub. The vibe is ok, I felt safe and no one has bothered me any time that I've been here. The food is adequate and good portion sizes with nothing to complain about, and they do have a couple of veggie options that are really reasonable. Service has been friendly enough.

Great pub grub at such a reasonable lunch time rate. I had barramundi, delicious. Staff are lovely. Great views over the Manning river. The only down side , the smokers tables are in the outdoor patio area where it's so nice to sit, smoke and eating just don't mix anymore.

Great atmosphere. I ordered the Royal Salad. Unfortunately like other eateries, the plate is excessively full of rocket with very little else. Less is more of the greens. Nothing much more was on the plate. It's both unappealing and a waste. Otherwise a nice location to enjoy lunch with friends.

Went with a group of 9 for a lunch. All meals were lovely and very reasonably priced. I ordered a parmagiarna with a seafood sauce extra. This was the nicest one ive had for some time. Checken moist and the tomato based sauce the best. Seafood sauce was lovely too. You have to try their sticky date pudding. Yummo. Coffees were great. Cant fault anything. Venue spotless and all staff members were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to make it a great experience.
