Nice pub, nice atmosphere. I had the satay chicken burger which was pretty decent.

Had a great meal here. Hot food, plenty of it, good atmosphere, prompt, friendly service.

Called in for the Open Mic event on Tuesday night ! Used to live locally but moved further south ! The Goody has since been renovated with a mostly modern great look with equally modern updated facilities throughout and a popular outdoor dining area ! Had one of their daily specials, a chicken schnitzel, perfectly cooked and generous in size accompanied with the usual chips and a form of coleslaw ! And only $17 too ! Must try some of the other items from their extensive menu and wine lists ! All their staff were very efficient, courteous, obliging and friendly and I wouldn't hesitate in going back there or recommending this charming hotel ! I hope that they remain in upholding up the high standards in both meals and service ! Another noticeable feature is the fact they remain privately owned and not run by a conglomerate behemoth such as ALH or any other similar chain which unfortunately dominate the Adelaide pub scene ! Please keep up the high standards during this difficult and bewildering economic climate which confronts us all !

Food was great value and yummy (burgers and pizza), delicious house wine. Kids could play a bit out in the beer garden. They have some good food specials on different days of the wk. Nice atmosphere.

Great food, drinks and service on a hot January Friday afternoon. The bartender realised that the others at the bar (a sizeable group from a generation beginning with B with a reputation for selfishness) had rudely pushed in front of me and so he took my order at a separate till. Upon serving the beer was cold and good and the sweet potato wedges absolutely excellent. Great beer garden too. Top spot.

Had a Family pre Christmas lunch. Service was excellent & food was exceptional. No complaints here. Definitely recommend & will be back.

Great local pub

I had the grilled steak, Greek salad with chips, added a Diane sauce which was okay but a bit salty. The staff were brilliant and the beers ice cold. Would recommend 👌

Went here on New Year’s Day and pizza’s were amazing. Beer garden was exactly what we were looking for.

I went last Friday for my first time. Everywhere in the pub was packed but this didn't detract from the server or food. My partner thought their steak was the best they've eaten and my meal was perfect. Good prices and portion sizes. Not too big and no food waste which is also important to me. I'm going back again tomorrow.

Haven’t been to the Goody in years and was glad to return. We sat in the beer garden which was nice as it is quite a vibe. Unfortunately there was some kids running around screaming which was a bummer but probably no fault of the venue in any way. I got the Caesar salad with chicken and it was really good. Generous sizing with a good amount of each ingredient. Have had a Caesar salad in a long time and it was actually really good. I was with 2 others who both got the special which was a crispy chicken wrap with chips. The wrap was tasty and again a generous size, only criticism was that it needed some bulkier lettuce as it didn’t have much greenery. The chips were good, not a huge amount but proportionate to the meal. All in all it was a good outing for lunch and we were all happy with our food, therefore it’s a solid bet if you’re looking for a nice place to grab some lunch grub and have a beer in the garden with friends. There’s plenty of parking out the back, but that being said we still had to park out on the road as there was not one single park available, and it was busy but it didn’t seem ‘that’ busy for there to be no parks available.

Staff were rude, didn’t respect us as patrons who have frequented the venue regularly over the years. They need to reassess their priorities when relating to customers. People pay good money to go out to eat, drink and enjoy entertainment. Ended up leaving and spending a great afternoon at the Ed. Never again

Everywhere inside the pub there was noisy music, hard to talk to someone beside you. Outside sitting and dining areas are too close to the smoking areas.

Nice place for who attending Adelaide show ground for shows. Walking distance from there.

The Goody Hotel has some of the best food out there! Have been consistent all these years and I doubt they will slow down anytime soon, amazing service from the restaurant, stand out employees especially Dario, Alex and Tayla. Your Monday chicken schnitzel specials always bring a crowd.

Went there tonight with a friend. I ordered the Chicken Schnitzel with mushroom sauce. To be honest it was very ordinary. The schnitzel itself was average, the chips were atrocious and seemed like they'd been sitting around for a while. The salad was poor and the sauce was rubbish. Won't be going back for a long time

I ordered two chicken Parmis one with gravy and one with Diane sauce from Tayla in the beer garden. Tayla wasn’t paying attention and put it though incorrectly, when I told them about the mistake she made they then had the AUDACITY TO CHARGE ME FOR THE PARMI TOPPINGS!!! And to add insult to injury they brought the wrong sauce out with one of the parmis. I am very displeased with their service and will not be coming back.

I had a team lunch here a few weeks back. Food was awesome, and not too expensive

I’m not usually one to write a negative review but after thinking of my experience I felt it was essential to give feedback. The elderly lady with brown hair who works in the gaming room was extremely rude with an unpleasant aura. She went out of her way to approach only myself out of the large group of people I was with to see my ID. I handed my ID over with no issues however once she gave it back to me, she then mumbled a comment after looking at my ID picture under her breath and stormed off. The mumbling under her breath demonstrates how unprofessional she is and maybe there is a need for some people skills training as it is evident she’s lacking greatly in this area to think it’s okay to make a personal comment about a patrons ID picture. This is very embarrassing behaviour for a woman of her age towards a young girl like myself who is more than 40 years her junior I’m sure. This judgemental behaviour is a huge concern, especially in a public place which is supposed to be an inviting and welcoming space. To be honest, if I was to go back to this venue and see her working in there, I would leave immediately which is unfortunate because this is one of my local pubs.

We ordered Chicken burger & Southern Fried Chicken Strips (main size). Exceptional value for money. The chicken is great quality and really tasty. Food was served quickly despite busy/lunchtime. Service at the bar/beer garden was great very friendly and attentive.

Solid pub lunch, great portions and well prepared, not too noisy

Worse meal I’ve had at this place. Couldn’t believe the low standard now. They are using prepackaged meatballs taste like cardboard and shitty out of a jar sauce with left over roast veggies (pumpkin with skin still on) thrown together like a dog’s breakfast. The audacity to put pasta and meatballs as a special as if it might be special! But not special, specially disappointing. They obviously had too many prepackaged bought in frozen meatballs to get rid of. Horrible and this place is going downhill. Stick to schnitty’s if ya’ gotta eat here. Yuck.

What a beautiful group of staff they have here. To be greeted by the bar staff when we walked in was so lovely. Alicia introduced herself. Service next level. Best roast and schnitzel ever. Think we have found our new local.

Food servings were huge we had to take half home as takeaway. Good pub food we had S&P Squid, which was cooked perfectly and had lots of fries. Pasta with capsicum, eggplant and spicy pepperoni, my daughter ordered the medium size and thank God because it was huge. (She loved it) And the other daughter had the 300gm porterhouse which she loved but couldn't finish. Our 1st visit, will probably visit again as its not far from home.

Great menu with a twist

Whenever I had the chance, I’d come down here with a small group for the Thursday night pub quiz, hosted by Quizmeisters. Plus always got a kick out of the awesome food 🤤 🍔 🍕 and great service too! 👌

Had lunch today (2 Senior couples) 2 had roast of the day and 2 had Bangers and mash, plenty of food tasted magnificent, will absolutely go back. Max A

My local pub, very handy for a quick meal. Just had a yummy schnitzel 😋 Mon & Tues are $17 Schnitty days. I feel the dinning room is very bland decor wise, a bit of colour maybe like the panels in the hallway could be used as wallpaper.
