Excellent roast of the day. Service was good, quick and pleasant.

The food we had was delicious. The service was great. Only detraction was the noise of patrons when the room filled up - but that's something we have to expect and accept: you need customers and lots of customers make lots of noise! We probably added to the to the total decibel count ourselves.

Forgot the anchovies on my ceaser salad.... but I asked for them & they were brought to me & the salad was large & tasty. Waitress walked past our table twice & left 2 empty plates sitting there... had to ask her to take them away.

The menu had nice variety, with the pub staples, a few interesting extras & a good offering of specials. The staff are outstanding & what makes the Crown such a pleasure to return to time after time. Pleasant location & decor. There is a members program for the Crown.

Good food, great selection, very good staff

Excellent for a family catch up, enough on the menu to please most and the specials are quite varied throughout the year. Staff are always friendly, professional and attentive.

Ordered the 250gm rump, medium rare, salad but no dressing. When it turned up, it was barely 250gm if at all. The salad had dressing. As for medium rare, it was more like the well-done side of medium. It was dry and tough. Second time in a row I've dined here with the same result. I am at a loss as to why they ask how I want the steak cooked of they aren't going to give it to me. Wife had a butter chicken that was shy on the butter but at least a curry.

We were there with a group of 18 for a 40th birthday, the staff were very accommodating with the table set up. All the meals came out together (which I was not expecting with this number of people) all were piping hot and the food was great. The kitchen and wait staff were young, and did a fantastic job. The menu catered well for the gluten free, dairy free and vegans that we had in the group. The setting is lovely, the prices are very reasonable, and I would highly recommend .

I had my 70th birthday on the 12th October and we had around 40 people the service was great the food was great it’s not very common that you get 40 people all saying their dinner was great thank you guys for making my birthday even better

1st time we have been there for a meal in ages. We all enjoyed our meals, good menu choices. The staff were lovely, can't wait to go back for another meal.

Read this and see if this makes any sense whatsoever. Booked in at 6:30, ordered at 6:45 and no food still at 8:00. 6 schnitzels and barely anyone in the dining room. If you are starving and this is your only chance of surviving just die.

Food dumped on table with little care or comments by the team after an hour wait with no apology or compensation. Worth driving the extra 10 minutes to the woody

If you would like to wait 2 hours for your meal, then this is the place for you. Can't even remember if my meal was good because I started getting hallucinations from extreme hunger. Who am I and how did I get here.

I was surprised! Given the reviews on other platforms (ignore those) I had expected less however, everything exceeded those expectations on all levels. The service was excellent as was the generous food in quality and portion also, the dining area was pleasant. Impressed generally!

It’s been 6 years since I was last here and it will be another 6 before I come back. Although the food was good the service was slow. I waited an hour for my food and watching more of of our group still waiting Not much changes here

First time eating here in years. All 3 meals were awesome. I had the smoked brisket, was delicious and tender. My sons rack of ribs was huge and the best he's had. My daughter's vegetables curry was also delicious

We had a wonderful lunch today and yesterday at the Crown, couldn’t fault it.

Splendid Staff. Amazing Ambience. Fabulous Food. No wonder this restaurant is so loveable. I spend a couple of hours at this place at least 9 times a year while waiting for my wife’s parlour appointment at the Reynella. This is indeed one wait which I look forward to without fail. And this visit makes the drive from Brighton worthwhile. My sense is they have raving fans (not just customers) and this is based on so many visits over the last few years. If you are looking for an experience, please do visit them for a Saturday or Sunday brunch/ lunch preferably. Otherwise they are open daily from 8am-2am. Special credits to the staff who made today’s experience worthwhile - Emily and Hayden.

Disappointing in late 2024 the front bar doesn't offer a decent plant based menu, what was on offer was poor, a basic plant based burger or schnitzel would be a good idea

Friendly service, good food. Especially appreciated the Seniors Menu and staff who went above and beyond. We'll come again when we're in town.

Had lunch at the Crown yesterday with 2 others. We were well looked after by the staff, Hayden and Theo (I think that was his name?) Food was great, with a dessert that was unexpected but apparently came with the Seniors meal. Very relaxing environment for lunch - great experience.

Quieter than some, the Crown Inn is comfy and provides seniors discount which includes dessert.

Great food, the pork hock was delicious. Staff and atmosphere is good. Great place to meet with friends and talk.

A table of 13. Mains for 2 came out. Later entrees for 4. When approached, staff member became aggressive. Mains for last 3 arrived much later. 2 opted to take away but one meal looked so disgusting it was left behind. Many excuses - very poor.

over an hour wait for food and food came out cold , they tried to charge extra for gravy that menu says is included and the manager argued with us about charging extra , several meals after half an hour wait we were told they had run out and then refused to refund the differance when cheaper meal was ordered . will never return , previous meals here have been great but not tonight !!!!!!!!!

Absolutely disgusting service. Booked for a birthday party of 16 people. Arrived at 5.30pm then waited until everyone was there to order. One of the tables got their food after an hour and our table was still waiting. 4 little kids starving, birthday girl still waiting. The 2 of us couldn't wait any longer so got a refund. Full of excuses but no real apology. The rest of the room that arrived after us have been fed. Rest of the meals finally arrived one and a half hours later. Do not recommend!!!

did not enjoy my meal biggest part of the meal was house salad the fish was dry and not many chips in fact the worst fish and chips I have ever had will not be going there again ruined my night out

My whole family love the crown inn. My kids enjoy going there for dinner any time we go out and my partner and myself quite enjoy the new gaming room 😉

Very nice pub. I had a parmy here with a friend and it was amazing. I really enjoyed it. Prices are good. Food amazing. Staff nice. Enough said. I highly recommend.

After going for a walk through Old Reynella and panatalinga, my friend and I always go into The Crown Inn old renella for some sweet Potato Chips and a glass of refreshment.

Poor experience and relative rating. Place seems to be lacking good leadership and that shows to the customers who do expect friendly customer service with a smile.

Amazing food but we orders gluten free and then got a gluten attack. So it was not gluten free. Good place for family and friends to catch up,

This is our new regular. You can guage from the chicken schnitzels how good a place is and its really good! I tried the salt and pepper squid last night and its the best I've had.

Really nice food. No service to speak of, table was not clean from the night before. Staff don't collect the empty glasses total self service style of dinning.
