The friendly service was great, by everyone. If you are a chip connoisseur, you will love their chips. The Cajun prawns were to die for. Today was Seafood Tuesday. Prawn skewers and chips and salad. We are going back tomorrow for Hump Day, Rump Day.

Always good food and service. The tall beautiful lady that brings the food out, and clears the tables is so friendly and amazing. She is also full of energy and a great worker. A great place to eat. We eat there a lot.

A little gem that we randomly came across! Came on a Thursday of the long weekend, place was busy in their bistro area. Menu is a bit basic, but reasonably priced to be fair. Food was good. Staff were pretty cool and friendly too. Old school country hospitality in the quieter side of the city.

Waited almost an hour for overcooked steak (asked for medium rare not well done), cold vegetables and hard cold chips. Hamburger with blackened grit. Was told 10 minutes before the food appeared that “it was just being plated” hmmm. Been here multiple times before at this time of year and always enjoyed it - not this time - very disappointed.

Very nice place. The staff attend you in a very friendly manner. I highly recommend the beef snitzel parmiggiana...it's awesome!

Standard pub fare in a cramped dining space, clearly to maximise patrons. When the room is full it is nearly impossible to move around. Schnitzel had a sour taste about it, and meals are slow to come out.

Love coming here for a nice Sunday lunch. Beef n Reef is the best!

Awesome customer service! I can't for the life of me remember my servers name but he has a foods ta-gram!! He was great with recommendations and checking up on us I ordered the chimi steak sandwich with rosemary fries and it was chefs kiss! I will definitely be back to try it again!

Fantastic food... I could not fault anything

Just having a checkup at the Wexford and discovered this nifty joint. Much to my surprise as we only intended to have a quick cuppa at the coffee club. Quite a snazzy place for the staff here, bet they're happy!!!! :) Regular coffee prices and donuts look Devine!!!! Will def come back upon every visit here.

One of the best hotels in Adelaide. It's was quiet the night I was there but the restaurant was pretty busy. The staff were friendly and up for a bit of small talk. Food was awesome and beer is cold.

What a find this place was, was in Adelaide for a week ate here 5 times burger, pizza, schnitzels curries they do it all and at a very good price with plenty of it. A good selection of beers, friendly staff, good value specials and if you are lucky maybe a snack or too.

The food here is always delicious. This is the 4th time coming here and the food is just as amazing as the first time. We had the Eye Fillet 300g cooked rare and medium rare, and it was really delicious. The steak was incredibly tender and hot inside despite being rare. The chips were crisp and well seasoned, and the gravy was really nice too. Service was fantastic. Serving sizes were generous. Will definitely continue to come back here for the best steak and service in Adelaide.

Definitely not my fav... dined here a few times with friends. Nothing healthy to choose from the menu only offering one salad which is loaded with potato. Ordered a roast and couldn't even slice through the meat it was so tough. On a positive the staff are very friendly.

Ordered roast of the day pork when I ordered they said they had ran out of apple sauce mmm at 6.30 pm make some more any way when I received the pork it was like boot leather won’t be going back here

I ordered a steak and it was cooked to absolute perfection! Wife had the calamari which was amazing. Cocktails were on point, great value and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend for a great feed.

Ordered T-Bone steak chips and salad waited over an hour for it. Other people got served before me who came and ordered after me. The tbone was rare when I ordered medium. I don’t usually like complaining but wasn’t happy wasn’t impressed when you pay good money to go out and have a nice meal with family visiting! Very unpleasant experience. Had to get the tbone cooked again the chef said what do you want us to do if you want a new one you’ll be waiting a lot longer. Very rude. Garvey was watery and tasteless. Wouldn’t recommend to my dog. Chef cooked the same tea one that I already cut which is against the law to do. What topped it off they sent a big guy out who may have looked intimidating to others out to give this meal. Overloaded the plate with chips and lettuce tomato wasn’t fresh plus then over cooked the meat plus never got mushroom Garvey like I asked for. Not very nice experience.

My 'go to' steak pub. Great steaks - often masterfully cooked. 1 star off for deleting Saltimbocca sauce from the menu. Highly recommended.

There are few pubs around the area but this one has a family relax vibe to it. Looks like everyone knows the name of the bartender/owner/manager. We had Wednesday special steak. It was pretty good and affordable. A good selection of beers and cider from the taps.

Went here for tea Saturday night few people not busy. My husband and I ordered poterhouse well done. Meal arrived his was well done mine was still red and bloody. Why ask me how I want my steak cooked if you can't cook it right. Terrible cut of meat big chunk of fat. Gravey warm not hot and the salad was miserable. Waste of money. Do not recommend wasting your money there. Very very disappointed. Chef/cook needs to take cooking lessons. Well done means no blood.

We relived past experiences of dining here since the 1970s. It did not disappoint. Servings were good size. The staff were welcoming, and the service was excellent.

My friends took me to the Elephant & Castle for my birthday so that I could try chateau bri&, a dish which had ebleefvourite of my mum and dad's when they were going out together. I absolutely loved the place. Not only was my lunch delicious, but the décor was just stunning. Elephants are one of my favourite animals and I went around and felt each one. I even got some photos of me patting the biggest one, as though he was Nelly at the zoo, for those who remember her. My only criticism was that they couldn't serve me a pina colada, as they had no coconut water, or whatever is used for coconut flavour (admittedly, I'm rather an ignoramous when it comes to cocktails; I just drink them). It had been years since I'd tasted a pina colada, since I don't drink very often, and I would have liked to have ordered one for my birthday, but my tactile experience with the elephants well made up for it.
