Location is amazing, right on the beach and a short walk to Jety Rd.
Conveniently located with all the familiar shops fashion and gift shops . Located right on the waterfront amongst lovely restaurants
Easy access to public transport. Lots of places nearby to eat and beautiful beaches
Amazing place helpful staff they make u feel at home. Best place for sunsets and views. Safe and good paid parking.
Bien situé près de la plage j'ai bien aimé
Location is great. Rooms need lots of attention. Mouldy bathroom is a big turn off. Not able to access wardrobe another issue. Dirty glass panels on the balcony disappointing and the television in the bedroom is there for show (can’t operate as not connected and no remote control to turn it on). Unable to utilise wardrobes as there is no room to open the doors. For the price, one might expect better amenities than cheap motel style coffee sachets and tiny long life milk containers in the fridge. At the very least bottled water would go a long way to a better experience. Not a luxury stay! Overall, a disappointing stay - when paying over $400 for one night (including the parking fee)
The good size room needs some work as it is very outdated. The room I stayed in had very bad internet it kept dropping in and out all the time hard to do work from room. Close to all amenities.
Cmon what is this! The smallest TVs I’ve even seen. Let me just let you know, a quick $1000 would increase your reviews outstandingly.
Location: Perfect. Can not fault the proximity to the beach and Peir/Jetty. Very central. Beautiful views. Service: The Staff in The Coast Restaurant were accommodating. Coffee met my high expectations. The evening food was lovely (didn’t try breakfast so cannot comment). Wine list was adequate. However the Reception Team only acknowledge Guests on Check-In. All other times we are not acknowledged. As a person who works on a Customer/Person centric position, I acknowledge that Customer Service is key. A friendly smile, “good morning”, these go a long way. Rooms: Very underwhelming. The AirCon makes such a racket that you cannot sleep with it on. The plumbing/pipes also make a horrible noise when the toilet is flushed and last/keeps running way too long. The mould in the shower is very uninviting. There aren’t even adequate tea spoons in the rooms for coffee making.
I never really review hotels as I think its just people complaining but i felt the need to offer my thoughts afer my 3 night stay in a 1 bedroom apartment (cost over $800 aud) Pros: great location (beach on doorstop) jetty road food/shops only 10 min walk Great views if you get a beach balcony Rooms refreshed daily with towels and bed made Safe location for solo traveller Quick uber to airport Bike hire outside hotel was great Cons; didn't like the staff member reading out my room number when checking in. As a solo female traveller this is concerning No bath robes which is sad given cost per night Grimey children's hand prints all over the balcony door, balcony glass and windows. Yuck Fly sreen on sliding door was ripped so bugs would come in (not too bad though) No herbal tea (at least a peppermint would have been nice) - a reminder to always pack my own Lack of PowerPoints in room, so much so that one bedside lamp wasnt even able to be plugged in?!! TV so old - now days tvs have wifi/ internet connection. Next time I'll remember to bring my Chromecast. For those looking for a sleep in maybe check the side of the building your room is on, mine faced the direction of the airport so was woken at 6am everyday to the planes taking off. Not a big deal just annoying as the rooms arent sound proof meaning you can hear the ocean which is great but also all the rubbish trucks down on street level Nowhere to hang wet bathers/ clothes either inside in bathroom or on balcony. If you're more than 2 people doing washing this would be a challenge. Overall my stay was great, when staff asked how everything was when checking out they seemed shocked when i told them about the things that needed attention. Which i found odd and i was made to feel like it was MY job to tell them about these things during my stay?? Sorry but im not doing an audit of the room when this should be your job to look out for basic maintenance and cleaning. Overall a pleasant stay and will be back. as a female solo traveller i felt safe coming back late at night (good security) and the hotel is in a good area with lots of people around. Getting a taxi/ uber was very efficient from out front of the hotel.
Absolutely beautiful ..Brilliant views
Great location, but the hospitality fell short. Once we checked in, the reception staff made no effort to acknowledge or greet us for the remainder of our stay—something I believe is essential in a hospitality role. The rooms were also disappointing—very dated and in need of a thorough refresh, including a paint job and refit.
The room was not clean and very dated . When I say not clean I mean mould in tiles and dust . Drains stink in bathroom . I realise this building is getting old but it needs updating now . Towels are grey and for some Reason I didn’t get face washers but struggled using the towels anyway . Good location but that about all . Overpriced for sure and prob won’t come back again after visiting every year at this time .
Pretty poor overall. In room wifi very slow. Receptionist very difficult to understand, could not explain room inclusions clearly. Balcony doors didn’t shut properly. Rooms old and tired, couch stained
appartment was in run down and dirty condition, room was stuffy. platinum member, booked 5 months ahead, yet given a run down dirty appartment with appliances and things that didnt function properly.
I love this place! Great location, great staff, great facilities. We stay here every time we get to Adelaide (if there is availability)
Paid for a week accom with ocean views, requested highest level but ended up on level 1. 30 dollars a night for parking, for the price of the room alone it should be included, especially considering the parking space is open for public to roam in. The room itself will not cool down, especially bedroom, makes for a very uncomfortable nights sleep. Bathroom is grimey. Grout is dirty, mouldy silicone, caked on scum around tap ware. Shower is in the bath and toilet is right next to that. There is only a small glass panel and no shower curtain so the water gets everywhere, even on the toilet. Water pressure is barely there and the temperature would noticeably change from cool to hot numerous times during one shower. Toilet roll holder is so far back you can barely reach, it was also almost falling out of the tile too and I’d say it’s like that because of the distance other people have also struggled and it’s become loose. No ice tray, missing utensils. Worst fidgety annoying coat hangers known to man! Also not enough. Couldn’t access one of the cupboards due to the bed and bedside tables being too close. We moved them all closer to the other side of the room to make space for the cupboard and draws to open but we had to sacrifice our plug outlets for it to only just open enough. Balconies are not closed off on each side, somebody could easily peak over and see inside your private room, or even climb over and walk inside your own apartment. One of our plastic outdoor chairs was split which made for a few bruises from skin being pinched. Overall, the quality of the place is not worth the high price. You’re only really paying for the views and location which undoubtedly depends on what floor level you’re on and most disappointingly we didn’t even receive what was requested.
Rooms were great and the location was unbeatable for Glenelg. Right on the beautiful beach. ||Pier was really close by, plenty of cafes and restaurants, the Beachouse was there for kids fun. If you’re coming to Glenelg the location can’t get much better.
One of my favourite hotels in the world The location and beach views is amazing I just can’t get off the balcony the view is always sensational Just bit disappointed this time with room cleanliness Basically rooms need better cleaning wasn’t up to scratch should not be dirty oaks do something g about the cleanliness of the rooms Otherwise doesn’t get any better beachfront huge room beach facing the only way to go Management why do u allow people Smoke on balcony the smoke just rises to apartments above and in summer u have windows open and smoke comes in windows and it’s also a huge fire hazard one cigarette buts could destroy building , you have an ESG requirement to protect all other guests will get rid of a lot of rif raf as well huge health and safety issue u need to ban smoking to lift perception and star rating
Best view I have ever stayed Apartment 711 facing the beach . The view was fantastic and the room was huge. Has beach view from Living room and bedroom the spa bath was great and separate shower and the kitchen was huge with all equipment from quality smeg appliances Location is unbeatable and place was super clean can’t believe how good it was can’t wait to return one if best even accommodation ever stayed
Underwhelming. We booked for 10 nights because of the prime location. Obviously that comes with a price, which we happily pay to have the best experience, which does look promising in the marketing. Aside from being right on the beach, there is nothing outstanding about the property or the service. The room was modern but janky and ill equipped for much at all in the kitchen. There was no coffee maker though there was an instruction manual for one in the cupboard. The spa in the pool area was lukewarm. A maintenance person was by one day and I asked him why it wasn’t hot and he looked at me like I was an alien. It was 30 degrees. A hot tub should be 38. He said 32 would be the max it ever gets. Sheets were not changed over 10 days. At most the bed was tidied and amenities replenished. Staff were nice. The info link says they have concierge service so I approached one morning to ask about tours and was directed to the wall with the pamphlets for all the different tour companies. I hoped for some local intel but clearly that wasn’t part of the deal.
We have been coming here super happy for 20 years. It’s a sunny beachy apartment hotel with magnificent 180 degree views of ocean and sky. Or rear views of a lovely park and city sky. It has basic fit out, low tech very small tv, minimal supplies but is clean and brilliant for a beach stay in lively Glenelg. Good staff, great local food, multi icecream shops and nearby tram. Absolute beachfront. Now for the BEWARE. To my holiday horror the stay this year is crushingly bad. An absolute STINKER. I didn’t choose a park view assuming the alternate was the ocean view as always. Not so. I was being sold a BUILDING view (nowhere does it say this in the hotel info). It is utterly miserable. Not only that we are on the first floor directly on top of the doof-doof NIGHTCLUB (til 2am). It’s nightmarish. The apartment stinks of cigarette smoke that wafts in. We are trapped here as every room is sold and the location fully booked, I feel like driving home it is that bad. I’ll see how we sleep tonight. I’m devastated to have wasted precious time and money on this booking. Be careful and don’t get sucked in by the endless loyalty marketing. Find out exactly what you are booking. Holidays are important. 20 years of stays and here we are in a smelly depressing room trying to fold the pillows around our ears to get to sleep. Small matter also parking is no longer included is $28. Good luck book wisely.
Stayed here on the 15th. Great location but the air-conditioning in the room didn't work during the night at all. It was a hot night, went to call reception on the phone and it wasn't even plugged in. Called reception about what happened and didn't get a good response. At checkout I said I was really dissatisfied and disappointed and the staff just said they are looking into it and didn't say sorry or offer anything after an absolute shocking night in a hot hotel room.
Pillows are not good they don’t give you different types just a few big pillows that don’t really fit in the covers. The shower is really old takes ages to warm up and pressure is bad. Over all location really good service was nice not blown away or anything just the normal service u would expect
Location is all this place has going for it. Standard hotel charging extraordinary rates for rooms and meals.
Staff were great! Room was upgraded!! Close to public transport and the entertainment hub/restaurants and shops. Room felt so luxurious, without the price tag!! Was a great stay, the only negative I have is that my room didn’t have a DND card, so I was disturbed.
We booked the Oaks Hotel on the beach because it seemed like the perfect location and offered the convenience of hotel services, which we expected to be of a certain standard. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to our expectations and felt more like a very average Airbnb.||||The decor was bland and uninspired, and the lounge was uncomfortably stiff, making it hard to relax. To our surprise, there weren’t even enough dining chairs for our group of four, and the kitchenware was a mix-and-match assortment of plates and cups that didn’t align with the quality we anticipated. Additionally, there were no beach towels provided—a basic amenity we expected given the location. The only plus was the view and the beds were very comfortable. But for $400+ a night, I expected more. ||||Overall, the experience left us disappointed, and in hindsight, we wish we had just booked an Airbnb instead, at least we would have received free parking.
We got there today to check in and we was told they do not have any disabled room for us and do not have any disabled room in the whole complex which is absolutely disgusting it’s not a low grade hotel it is supposed to be a 5 star and it’s not an old building they tried to fob me off with that because I booked with hotels.com it was there fault the is a complete gone in with them as well. I do believe that they just did not want a disabled person in there hotel it is discriminating against disabled people they were not helpful at all they would not let me look at the room they said was booked for me and my husband was so distressed by all of this we had to look for hours to find another hotel as well could not have a room in here as they don’t have any disabled rooms |AVOID AVOID this hotel it’s not worth the stress my husband was put under |The hotel can not hide behind we booked with a agent they have to hold some responsibility for discriminating|against disabled people
A PLACE TO AVOID We have stayed in a two-bedroom sea view apartment for a week. It's the worst accommodation that we have stayed in for many years. The only good thing about is that you have an uninterrupted view of the sea (as it should because it is a sea view apartment) but that's the only positive. For the rest I can only mention a lot of negatives. - You can see that it is a cheaply built hotel. - The fly screen door falls out of its rails and is unusable. - The door to the balcony is not sealed off correctly so the wind howls through it. - The windows are single glazing so they radiate a lot of heat or cold (depending on the season). - The bedrooms are small and there is no space to put your clothes. There is not a single hook in the wall to hang some clothes either. - There were only seven cloth hangers (for four people!) - The television in the main room is small for this day and age. It might have been OK 20 years ago, but not now. - There is no television in the main bedroom. - There is no spot to hang your bathers to dry. You would expect that to be on the balcony or in one of the bathrooms. - The shower screen looks very cheap and old. Same for the taps and the shower head. - There is no housekeeping for the whole week and not even clean towels are provided. You have to ask for it every time you'd like to have some. - The kitchen is missing lots of cups, glasses, plates, knives, forks, etc. Apparently when something is broken it is not automatically being replaced. That is something that housekeeping should do before new guests move in. There are no steak knives, no knife to peel fruit. Lots of other things that you need when preparing a meal are missing. - You only get one dishwashing tablet and no rinse aid. - There is no broom nor anything else to clean the kitchen floor. - The dining table only had two chairs. You would expect it to have four chairs since it is a two-bedroom apartment. We could use the one chair that is at the desk, but then you still miss one chair. - You have to pay for garage parking, which I think should be included in the price. The price level definitely allows for that. - The garage is not secure. There is only a gate at the car entry but people have free access to the parking from the promenade. - There is no pen and paper on the desk, which you would expect in hotel with this price level. I could easily add more to the list, but I think that it is long enough to show that it is a substandard hotel. For the price they charge per night you expect something much better.
Highly recommended.
We stayed here whilst looking at property in Adelaide. The location was great, very convenient to the areas we were looking. |Parking is an issue in this area, so we had to pay an extra $28/ day to keep the car underneath. |The room we had was relatively clean, but worn and in need of maintenance and a soft refurbishment. The king bed was comfortable and we slept quite well, but the pillows weren’t great. |The reception staff were friendly, but the housekeeping staff need to do their job! We were there for 5 days and on day 2 asked for the body wash to be filled as it was empty. We bought our own as it never was after asking on consecutive days🤷♂️ This should be checked when they service a room. Multiple days the rubbish bin was left nearly full! The safe was faulty and couldn’t be used, the dishwasher required maintenance on day 2, the handles around the shower need re securing, the dining chairs were scuffed and worn, the tv in the bedroom couldn’t be used. I’ve attached some photos and advised reception during our stay and on checkout of the deficiencies. ||To wrap up, the location is great, but I would stay somewhere else next time, as I don’t believe the property is fair value in its current condition.
Call and call and call with no answer or assistance, hotel ? Or not
I've been calling and leaving messages for two days - no-one answers the phone or returns messages. Clearly if you can't book on the internet, or get the answers you need from their website they don't want your business. Happy to oblige you on that front Oaks.
Lovely peaceful place. Great views of the beach. Would walk to Brighton for a big breakfast. Just people watching swimming and relaxing.
Lovely location, friendly staff, great breakfast, but unfortunately our accommodation was extremely dirty, some appliances didn’t work and it was very tired and in need of a revamp.
We stayed level 5, one bedroom apartment. Incredible views close walk to all the restaurants beach and pier. Would recommend. Car parking is $28 a night.
Absolutely loved my stay at the Oaks Plaza. The staff were super friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. The rooms were clean and tidy - beds comfortable - shower had great pressure - amazing coffee pod machine and lots of other appliances. And the VIEW was beautiful! definitely the best part. We stayed on level 4 but spent alot of time on level 2 enjoying the pool spa and sauna. Thank you so much for having us, We will be coming back again for sure
Gitte Reisberg, Danmark.
I live across the road. But come here to be revitalised .Awesome!!!!!
Stains on the carpets, empty bottles in the shower with the shampoo not even being inside the shower, an unstable shower head that flops around, noisy balcony parties at 1am, and unprofessional housekeeping trying to avoid having to do their job. ||||The bed was extremely comfortable though and the reception staff were very nice and friendly. ||
nicely located right on the beach, close to Jetty road, nice indoor swimming pool
The view from my balcony. Listening to the waves all night is both calming & relaxing. Highly recommend.
Could not fault the Oaks Plaza Pier hotel.Balcony Ocean Front Premier Room was bliss, worth it. Exactly what I needed after loss of beloved parent. Fell asleep hearing the waves. Had best sleep in long time. Every single night breathtaking sunsets inc Aurora Australis on first night! Ordering room service from Marcellinas very convenient. Staff were extremely accommodating. Snack machine handy and used many times, reasonable prices. Stay extended extra weeks. They arranged to stay in the same room, bar the last night. Fantastic customer service from Manager reception staff and housekeeping for any needs I had and did little extras because they knew i was grieving. Amenities all in walking distance. Loved just staring at the ocean, so healing. Annoyingly, Holdfast council doing sand project below, throughout 3wk stay, Irritatingly, awoken very early by sound of bulldozers, the beeping noises, trucks, excavators killing tranquil environment I was seeking for this important stay. Shell collecting undoable in front of hotel. Beach strolls became beach treks, sand covered in tyre tracks, unsafe and unstable for disabled family member and everyone to walk on when visiting me, meant walking away from earthworks, past the jetty and beyond. I loved Oaks Plaza Pier Suites professionally handling situation, keeping guests accommodated best they can. Hope project ends asap. Great Hotel. 👍 👌🌊🎠🎡🚚🚜🦽🛞🛞🛞🛞🚧🛑⛱️🌊🚨🚨🚨🚨🚚🚛🛻
Currently staying at Glenlg oaks plaza, originally booked a studio, upon arrival as shown in pictures bathroom was moldy and paint was chipping in the shower. Mind you this is with the “lights” on -being on a corner there was actually barely any light. We also booked for an ocean view but was created with 1/4 ocean view mostly a view of others apartments which I’m sure had a lovely view. We could also hear other visitors flushing their toilets in the room they gave us lol. The bed was also just two single beds pushed together so not exactly the most comfortable. We quickly “upgraded” after arrival to a apartment for an extra $50 a night (imagine paying for an upgrade cause they don’t take mold seriously lol) , which I will say is better so book that if you’re tossing up between the two. on day 2 our key card stopped working in the elevator so loved talking to the unhelpful staff more.0/10 book somewhere else if you can.
Great suites at an affordable rate and well located in Glenelg and near the airport. Lots of options nearby for food, shopping, drinks and for a swim. If you're lucky you might catch a car show or a food festival usually located within a 5 minute walk. Location is great, right by the sea, and the view is stunning. Reception staff were very welcoming, efficient and took great care of us both at the start and end of our trip. There is a restaurant downstairs and a pub (restaurant is a bit expensive but it is convenient).
Great location, friendly staff.
Even years on, this place is in one of the best spots on the Glenelg foreshore, easy to get to and only a short walk to Jetty Rd.
Stayed here a number of times. Place is very convenient to the Bay precinct and surrounded by bars, beach, entertainment and eateries. Any issue we have had were dealt with quickly. Enjoy a stay.
First time in Glenelg and Oaks plaza pier is located perfectly
As I'm writing this I am trying to sleep, it's nearly midnight and for the second night running there is Thundering loud music from what appears to be a night club downstairs. TWO NIGHTS IN A ROW. It cost us Over $700 for two nights to stay here and I cannot even get a peaceful night sleep one night. I Will NEVER stay here again. This use to be our go to place for a little get away, stayed here a few times but Never again. There was never a night club here previously. Being able to fall asleep listening to the ocean was one of the reasons we loved staying here. Now you can’t hear the ocean for the bullshit noise from downstairs! Who has screaming nightclub under a motel. Beyond a joke. At least Warn people so they can choose if the want to deal with the no sleep from crap music. To say I'm angry is an understatement. Edited my review to say, person at desk said they could shift us to another room to sleep …. My response, “you are kidding me right, is it sound proof”. We ended up leaving and going home. Thanks for spoiling, my birthday, my husbands birthday and our 28th wedding anniversary weekend. Also, be prepared for your lovely beach view to be ruined by several huge yellow Cat earth moving machinery that are permanently on the beach in front of the place. They don’t show that in their photos either. **Edit** they have spoken with me about this, I received a $200 refund, and to be honest it was more than I was expecting. So I am thankful for that.
Having stayed at oaks previously with a 5 star experience, it was disappointing to attend again this year. Paying for the premier Ocean view suite, with a request to be on the top floor you'd think it would be easily accommodated, instead ended up on the second highest with a shared balcony, if this is what the best room available gets you I'm concerned for every other room. The room itself, boasting a description of being recently refurbished was in such a state I actually had to ring reception to clarify I was even in the right room, dirty walls, mold in the bathroom, damaged appliances, TV missing from the bedroom, and so on. By day 2 the WiFi stopped working, resolved by day 3 and 4. The only saving grace is the enjoyable view so close to the ocean, were it not the only decent hotel on the beach front, I'd be disinclined to return. In addition, they charge a $1 bond hold which they do not return, while it seems insignificant, this shady process would be earning them hundreds of extra dollars and no one chases it up because it's only $1.
Very nice rooms and facilities. When we arrived check-in was smooth the friendly staff at reception upgraded our room for free! Our apartment was clean and comfortable, and the pool/spa was a treat. Great to be right on the beach and a fine selection of restaurants within walking distance.
We stayed two nights in an apartment room. It was very comfortable and clean. The indoor pool and gym were great.
Tired place that needs a birthday. Adelaide can be done better. Nice views though.
地點超級棒!距離Jetty超近!很適合去散步!櫃檯服務人員非常親切,房間寬敞舒適,可惜部分桑拿正在維修無法使用…
Spent 3 wonderful night here during the week. Visiting from Melbourne & loved the location. Amenities good although as others say, rooms (particularly bathrooms) tired & in need of an upgrade. Water pressure good though & views amazing. Best experience however was the stand out service provided by Jodie & her team on reception. We had tricky situation and requested room changes in a busy week but even with occupancy rates high we were quickly & very efficiently able to upgrade with a minimum of fuss. Thank you Jodie - superlative service standards. Happily stay here again
Nice hotel in a very beautiful area facing beach. Be ready to pay hefty parking charges. For me they charged 28$ per night. While my Avis car rental price was only 42 $ for the day😀
Great customer service, room was spacious and clean.
booked a 2 room apartment for my wife and daughter, room was infested with cockroachs, room was dirty ,have stayed there many times over the years but never again,I don't expect that management will acknowledge this review but I will make sure I let people know to avoid booking here
Pool area undergoing maintenance. Unfortunately it was business so no chance to stay longer though I would've liked to
Right in the heart of Glenelg close to airport, shopping, tram line and beach ⛱️
Unbelievably loud music from the club down stairs until 2am. Could actually make out the song words because the volume. It was so loud we both had migraines the whole night from the base. This should have been communicated prior. We thought all music would shut off at 12 given we hosted a function there the same day and signed a contract saying had to be quiet by midnight for hotel guests. Hotel staff could not care less. Room wasn’t clean. Mold in bath and stains on pillows.
Booked here for 2 nights for our anniversary and my birthday. We had our 2 year old with us and booked a 1 bedroom ocean view. On arrival the lovely lady in reception upgraded us to a 2 bedroom apartment and also gave us a complimentary bottle of wine and block of chocolate. We had an absolute great time and will definitely be back again
That one time we stayed at a beachfront hotel, and got a 45 degree view, alas it was dated with some rooms better than others (website photos are the best rooms). We asked for a different room. Both had dull bathrooms. Think they have termites. Didn't sleep well, there was a whirling sound, haunted? Or piping? Stops and starts occasionally. Turns out it was the door. Pool - indoors 1.2m Dinner downstairs was good, but we're here for drinks on the verandah with beachfront sunset views, wow.
Positives: Great location and price. Negatives: stayed here on the weekend and the noise around the place was crazy. Literally a nightclub on the ground floor. This should really be communicated to guests upon booking! Cleanliness in the room can be extremely improved. As seen in the picture is the pillow on the bed on arrival, covered in stains. Also, walls around the room were chipped and could be maintained better. There’s no equipment to prepare food. There wasn’t even a bowl to make a bowl of cereal. These are the things that should be expected of an apartment. Live channels on the TV didn’t work either.
Ok. Central and clean.
Impossible to reach on the phone. Very beautiful and clean rooms and facilities. BUT impossible to reach this hotel on the phone no matter which menue option you use. Best to book online.
Great rooms . Great view. Super friendly staff. The pool is good also.
Stayed here for one night (end of June) after travelling for 2 days so was exhausted upon arrival. I arrived 3 hours before my booking time but since they were fully booked the previous night there no rooms available for early check in. The staff were friendly and helpful though and offered to check in my luggage at reception and offered me a seat on the comfy couches in the waiting area. They let me know the minute a room was ready (2 hours before check in time) which was wonderful! The room was clean and neat, had a small kitchen area with fridge, coffee machine, microwave etc. and a super comfortable bed. Good water pressure in the bathroom. Restaurants on site or a short walk to the pier for a variety of restaurants. Beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony where I sat the next morning enjoying coffee. Can't wait to stay here again!
The room we had was nice with a wonderful view. Parking was brutally expensive at 27 dollars a day and we were only given 6 coffee pods for 8 nights for 2 people in the highest spec room. Was given the option to buy more pods at a dollar each. It's pathetic penny pinching rubbish like this that gets a place a bad name.
Stay here in a third floor apartment ocean view was fantastic easy walk to shops would stay again .
Disgusting. Room was dirty, showers were mouldy and a pubic hair in the bed! After we found that the bed was dirty on top of everything else we asked for a room change. We were offered another room that was very tired, and also dirty. We then packed all our gear at 7:30pm with my pregnant wife and two kids, and asked for a refund so we could leave. We were rejected a refund and have not yet received a cent back yet. We booked with another hotel for our night in Glenelg. Very poor service, disgusting accomodation.
DO NOT STAY HERE ON A FRIDAY OR SATURDAY NIGHT !! Pub / Nightclub on the ground floor music to 2am!!! If your all for the party scene this is for you 😂 Here for a long stay all was well until the party scene started Friday and Saturday night. Unsure why there is a Bar/Nightclub in the same building. If you enjoy quiet nights this isn’t your place. Whole family was up due to the bass thumping through the foundations we were located opposite side of the building to the club. Rooms were good rooms were cleaned most days throughout our stay. Pool and gym clean and well maintained basic dishwasher and washer need to google the manuals difficult to use. Ac heats and cools well lounge and tv also easy to use with pay tv channels. UPDATE on the review later on that night we were moved to another room on the opposite side of the building and was given a discount with parking which we didn’t ask for which was a great surprise. The customer service was great and the issue was resolved to the best of their ability. The club downstairs doesn’t have anything to do with the hotel so they are limited on what actions they can do for the time being.
Tidy and quiet
Friendly staff making the experience even better.
