Wonderful staff and food a great family evening

We used to go there every week for their rib eye steaks BUT went there first time since covid and they were horrid. I think they were frozen. Not even charcoaled. Very upset. Will not go back

I recently had a fantastic dining experience that was made even better by the outstanding service from Shanille. The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Every dish was expertly crafted, from the appetizers to the dessert. What really made the experience special, however, was Shanille's attention to detail and friendly demeanor. She was attentive without being overbearing, always ensuring we had everything we needed. Her knowledge of the menu helped us make great choices, and she truly made us feel welcome. Highly recommend both the food and the service!

Was at the Halfway Tuesday and got served by Shanille. She was fantastic. Meals were good.

Just got off the plane from interstate and went for a beer on the way back from the airport.....had exceptional service from Alex....well done, I've been away for a year but she made me feel welcome straight away

I went in a group for lunch today, which we pre-booked a table, so not a surprise table of 15. It was very busy so we opted to order using the QR codes on the table, I'm not sure if this was part of the problem. I got my food (salt and pepper squid) 45 mins after I ordered. But didn't receive my drink until I went to the bar, after asking the wait staff on it's whereabouts. I feel lucky that I got my food because 4 people in our group didn't receive anything. The drinks orders were no better, some were the wrong order and others never arrived. My squid was OK, standard for pub food. It was pretty obvious that there wasn't enough staff working to deal with the amount of people. The lonely waiter seemed quite frustrated, which is fair but they also seemed confused on what table was what. We suspect that the missing food went to a different table.

Oh wow, I feel so sorry for the 1 waiter that was trying to serve food to tables where he had no idea where the food was to go to. There were over a hundred people standing in amongst all the dining tables yelling at each other. Could not hear the person on the other side of the table, the table that we had booked over a week ago. The table behind us got all our food, most at our table ended up getting a refund and went without. No one could hear the poor waiter when he was dancing around all the groups standing in amongst the diners.

Food - Porterhouse steaks x 3 and a Chicken Schnitty were all excellent and far above recent other pub offerings. Staff were extremely pleasant. We will be going back soon!

While in Adelaide, my family went to this pub twice in four days. The meals were very reasonably priced and I particularly loved that the kids meals came with salad, cheese, sultanas and an egg, rather than chips. There was also a good kids play area. While there we were served by the lovely Bruce and his team, who were friendly and are a credit to your establishment. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Utterly disappointed yet again. Since they changed hands the food is atrocious with no care and no consideration to the patron. Tonight we were served semi toasted actual white bread instead of ciabatta ( which turns out was actually in the freezer the whole time they just didn't bother to look, then when it did come out it was burnt ) the steak sandwich was soggy undercooked and cold, the $15 kids meal was missing bits too and that was after the fresh chicken wings which are usually a hit, tonight apparently need to be crumbed with sauce on the side :/ i shudder to think why :/ All in all we used to love this place and have been coming here every few weeks for years. I've had enough and will now have no choice but to go elsewhere.

Ordered the Calamari from the 'Snack' section of the menu: WOW! Couldn't fault it in anyway; thin crispy batter, good size pieces of Squid & so tender! 👍

Bruce and Shanille behind the bar twere lovely and helped both me and the group I was with throughout the whole night. Will be coming back again

As someone that works in hospitality I can understand sometimes why things might be slow or difficult but this was outrageous service was not up to par and did not meet our needs well or solve the problem efficiently the fish we ordered took almost till all the meals were out to come even though it was ordered first as well as the steaks coming out before so many other meals including the kids! That’s not how it should work, docket to docket kids meals first steaks last during dockets being almost done, very unimpressed

This place is a hidden gem for family's with an indoor kids playground, kids eat free on Sunday! Food was absolutely tasty, well cooked and didn't wait long for 8 meals to come out.

We had a birthday where Cheryl was in charge of front of house, and it was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we sat down, Cheryl’s warm and honest approach made the whole experience feel personal and inviting. Not only was the food delicious, but her energy and enthusiasm added so much fun to the atmosphere. She made sure everyone was having a great time, and it was clear she genuinely cared about making the meal special for all of us. I can’t recommend her enough!

One of the staff was very rude and don’t know how to talk.Not all but one of the lady was very rude and racist against us.

Went to the venue for a 60th birthday today. 30 of us. Quite empty but it had taken over an hr for meals to come out. $32? For a seafood definitely nice but not worth the money. Table wasn’t cleared once that we had to take plates to the counter. Would we go back, definitely not

Meals excellent my steak cooked perfect husbands lamb cutlets with chimuchuri and sweet potato mash was delicious great ambience and friendly staff was here last week and meals were amazing thats why we returned

Was disappointed with my steak, I like mine well done but not crispy black dry edges and lukewarm while chips were piping hot. Looks like the kitchen didn't coordinate it too well. Partner had seafood basket, only issue was fish was overcooked, too soft inside and batter was dark. Garlic bread was great though! It wasn't overly busy with a couple of bigger groups coming in well after we had our food delivered to our table.

Fish was very oily. It was inedible. You need to change your oil.

He was incredibly knowledgeable about wine, offering fantastic recommendations that perfectly complemented our meal. His suggestion to try the ribs and steak was spot on—the food was absolutely delicious. The combination of excellent service and mouthwatering dishes made for a perfect evening. Highly recommend this place!

Great 30th birthday celebration was had by all! Service is fabulous.

Just had a special occasion celebration dinner tonight. Bruce, Jack and Cherl all contributed to us having a fantastic time. Our table ordered steak, schnitzels, parmi, s&p squid, barramundi, garlic bread, wedges, bbq bourbon wings, pie, and more...... everything was delicious. Great prices, great food, great night!!!!
