Bloody difficult little course, would definitely go back though

Great facilities. Top class Golf course. Easy access from the airport and the city.

Very well cared for course. No stand out views or spectacular holes, however the whole course is in great condition. Bunkers are a key feature and are usually placed very strategically. I personally appreciated the tasmanian player discount. Great pro shop with plenty of stock.

Office lady was a rude mole. More worried about money then anything. Visitors don't feel welcome at all. S___ a n______ d____.

We were on holidays from bribie island and were grouped in the competition with 2 other members who were very welcoming and showed us around the course which was in great condition especially the greens. We were also greeted by other members throughout the day who had a great chat with us and your club should be very proud and would recommend to anyone.

Played in the Pro-Am tournament today prior to the Tasmanian Open which starts tomorrow. The course is in top condition and course staff have done a great job with the lack of rain in the area. A top class course which will test all class of golfers, a pleasure to play on.

Travelling through the area while Caravaning Tassie and played the front 9 in their Friday 9 hole comp, people I was paired with very friendly and welcoming. Continued to play the back nine myself. Excellent greens, fairways had just been cored, and had done a great job of it. Could see the fairways will come back really well. Would be the pick of Launceston courses for quality and lay out.

very nice place with some nice facilities, footpath is quite nice and the grass is exquisite, perfect length, width and shape. Do feel as if we should get different coloured golf carts like yellow or green or even pink ones just to spice the golf life up. Drinks and food are very nice with a wide selection however definitely lacking some nice cold Pasito. Shaping and the style of the roof is a sight to see!

Very beautiful course usually maintained well some very nice par 3's always one of the first options for My friends and me when Considering 18.

Good course however there has been too many incidents where I find some members to be rude and snobby. It doesn't hurt to smile back or even say hello even after you said it. Males us non-members feel isolated and certainly doesn't encourage myself to join the club. Staff are excellent however

A v ery nice country gof course. Wide fairways. Mature trees. Worth adding to your playing list.

Culls native fauna that leave the adjoining reserve into the golf course (which was probably their habitat to begin with) because they poop on the course. Why don't you just put up a 6 foot barbed wire electric fence if you want to keep non payers out?! Shame on this golf club and shame on whoever approved this.

I would have given zero stars if I could, for killing native animals that wanted to poo on their land that you stole!. I thought such appalling ignorance as has been demonstrated by the club was over decades ago, but no, it has been preserved by the members of this club. I presume they are all LNP coal-ition members and so for them, environment and related words are not in their vocabulary. I hope your membership dwindles away to bankruptcy level and your land is returned to the animals that you stole it from. Disgusting behaviour!

Grass isn’t green enough

The Launceston Golf Club is a great course, not overly long but as with most excellent courses everything with your game has to gel to shoot a score. Old school parkland style layout reminiscent of many good English parkland layouts, it actually reminds me of the old course at Royal Canberra before the renovations. I honestly can't split Launceston and Royal Hobart as the best course in Tassie after Barnbougle. The course was in impeccable condition, greens are fantastic, and is a must play for any golfer visiting Tasmania.
