Nightcap at Finsbury Hotel

Perfect place for a short or a weekend stay, clean rooms and friendly staff. I only stayed for one night so not sure how the room service is. Checking in is through the bar, a bit different but not really an issue.

I thought it was a very good hotel. The conditions of a good hotel are determined by the quality of the staff. It means that there is a staff to love. thank you.

We stayed at this accomodation in February this year, and Lilly’s service to us was so immaculate that when we visited again in May, we stayed at the same hotel. Lilly’s service again was the highlight of the stay, she went above and beyond and her attention to detail is fantastic. We will be staying here again.

We were actually finding out some information for my friends who are staying for a couple of nights in September.. Looks great!!

The rooms are quite nice - modern and clean. However the location is definitely a little sketchy. It's located above a casino and there are interesting characters hanging out there until very late. I would strongly recommend only booking this accomodation if you can drive to and from there yourself. It is accessible by bus but I would avoid walking on the surrounding streets, especially at night. The staff are very nice, definitely one of the highlights of my stay. They recommended that I park on one side of the building because that's where the security cameras are. I got a free welcome drink with my room as well which can be redeemed at the casino bar.

I would not recommend this place. The pros are that it is in a very good location, however, the cons heavily outweigh that single pro. The room service was nonexistent. They never changed my sheets in four days of staying, never provided daily body wash supplies or a water bottle, never cleaned my bathroom. I spent over 400 usd for four nights, the least they can do is provide basic room service. The room service person will just come in, take out the trash and leave like one minute later. And you can’t open the windows to have fresh air. Also, it is loud at night so you are bound to wake up since there is a gaming hall in the lower floor and also the walls are thin.

Domestic in another room had me up till 4am. This place needs a harder stance towards problem tenants. Spose to be here for 4 nights only lasted 1.

The Night Cap is perfectly good accomodation for someone looking for a bed to finish a night out. The rooms are small, access is simple and plenty of parking. However it’s not very suitable for a relaxing stay. The bar downstairs was quite loud, music could be heard below. The walls are thin and voices from other guests were heard during the night. The blinds aren’t the width of the window making outside lights illuminate the room. Overall apart from the urine smell in the mattress the room was generally clean and tidy considering the age of the complex.

Spotlessly clean rooms, a bit small but has most things you'd need. To make this a 5-star rating, I would like to see in-room hair dryers (yes, I know they can be borrowed from downstairs, but that's a hassle when you're tired). Otherwise, has everything you need, including free bottled water in the fridge, and vouchers for free drinks at the bar. Bed is super comfy, every time. Location is good, with plenty of dining options within walking distance. Parking lot is too small, needs a dedicated area for hotel guests. There's been a few times staying here where the carpark has been completely full!! Also beware the trees along edges of the carpark - burds in them WILL bomb your windscreens with avian diarrhea every time you park under them!!

Really clean n comfy and room was large all for a reasonable price. Bathroom decent as well ,👍. Would stay again if around Adelaide.

Terrible stay- heard what the neighbours where doing ALL night, I would have rather not have. Can tell the property is on Hanson Road that’s for sure. The night staff where extremely rude and racially profiled my partner. It’s 2020 everyone deserves to be treated EQUALLY!! Will never be staying here again. And passing my experiences onto everyone and management.

The food was very poor1 seve of fish and chips was very oily returnd the second lot batter was lumpy.My freind and I hsd rump steak insome places it was charedand chips were cold

Very clean rooms and a lovely staff! Be aware though that you might encounter some people in the bar that seem to have had a bit too much to drink. During checking in, me and my partner actually got caught in a strange argument between two patrons. The friendly receptionist was however quick to intervene and made sure we were okay.

Location isn't great and I can't say I'm a fan of the pokies being on the ground floor of this establishment. But the rooms are clean and well kept for the age of the building. Incredibly disliked being able to hear the industrial air conditioner run outside 24/7. The rooms are very small but I didn't really have much of an issue with that. Staff are friendly and parking isn't too bad. If your room is facing out to the car park the lights are on all night and light up your room just FYI.

Budget hotel with clean rooms. Friendly staff. Guests are given door access totally undisturbed. very convenient stay.

Ample parking. Very clean. Well priced for a nights stay. Smart TV is a bonus for Netflix. Wi-Fi speed is ample and the welcome breakfast pack is a very nice touch. Bottles of water supplied tea and coffee and wonderful air-con. Would definitely stay when I return again. 3mins down the road from my training course 12mins from airport. Aldi close buy. Bottle shop next door. Had my own hire car so transport from city was not an issue..
