Great food, excellent steaks.

We had panko crumbed mushrooms, Rocket rocket pear salad and calamari with chips and we would say it was good value but basic. The wines were $16 for a Sauvignon Blanc 250ml Which is good value. What was even better value is the pool table is only$2 but make sure you bring coins or you will have to Get money out of the ATM, which will charge you a surcharge. It takes $1 coins each. The food came out in reasonably fast time but unfortunately on a hot day the air conditioning over the pool table was nonexistence so we were perspiring. It’s a value based pub for food and drink and would be happy to come back again if that’s what we wanted. The service was excellent. The staff is attentive and nothing seems to be a problem.

Friendly little local. Food is excellent. Owners Stephanie & Bach really aim to please. Friendly bar staff too. Quiz nights 7.30 Thursdays are great fun (prizes for winning teams and drink vouchers for a few random fun questions). Come and have a meal, drinks and fun.

Nice little pub, great food, huge portion sizes

Country pub feels on the edge of the city. The staff we're so welcoming, the fire was roaring, feels like home. Thanks guys we'll definitely be back.

Overall the only real good thing with this place is the service the staff provide. I can't say I really like or dislike it other than it's ok. Food was average at best on a 1-10 scoring for the chicken schnitzel I'd give a 4.5 mainly because I've had far worse. The mens toilets badly need some maintenance at the end of day I can honestly say that I would not travel out of my way to eat here again would I have a meal here again in the future to that I say maybe

Great place to go if you are bored

Enjoyed a very nice beef schnitzel from the Lord of Melbourne hotel today not like any other schnitzel in the state I'm assuming they make it themselves the chef should be very proud of his work .

Great little pub, hidden away on Melbourne Street. Anyone that is over for footy or cricket would be mad not to go here, has great food, happy hours and nightly meal specials. Has a TAB for those that like a punt. Very quiet during the day, seems to pick-up late arvo into evening meals.

I had the rump steak here and it did not disappoint. All our meals were enjoyable and I would recommend dining and drinking here. They have a lord Melbourne lager on tap that goes down a treat. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Good value for money.

Awesome food. Went there for a friend's birthday. Food was superb staff were excellent. A little gem I did not know about but definitely going back. Do what Molly says and do yourself a favour and have a meal there. Excellent wine list and great choices of beer on tap. See you again soon.

The best chicken schnitzel I have ever tasted! Just beautifully cooked, with nice chips and fresh salad. The mushroom sauce is delicious! As always service is great, good value for money and the staff are super friendly 😊 would recommend it 💯

Food is always prepared well and my Wife and I love eating there. Nice to go somewhere where you can still enjoy a conversation.

Friday rump steak deal for $25 was awesome. Pub was a little older but is on a nice walking street for discovering North Adelaide. Steak was cooked perfectly (medium rare) and was a quality cut. Fries were crisp, thick pub fries. Didn't love the sauce (tasted a bit soapy; maybe it was the cilantro) but it was a damn good meal for the price.

We had a staff end of year celebratory dinner there. We reserved one of their function rooms, so we enjoyed the private vibes and the fact that we were able to play our own music. The staff were really friendly and service was pretty quick. Everyone enjoyed the food and drinks. It was a good night!

Food was ok. Burgers were pretty standard, and chips on the side were minimal. Schnitzels were reasonable. Order for 7 came out at roughly the same time, so the order juggling skills were good. Very polite, welcoming, helpful staff.

The service at the Lord Melbourne was great, friendly and helpful they also do something very clever that 99% of other restaurants or cafes don't, they ask your name when they take your food order which makes bringing out food for a group of people so much easier.
