They lost a point for there unpredictable drive thru bottle shop. Please, for the love of God, put a sign up stating the bottle shop opening hours - I am on crutches! The actual hotel is nice though.

Burger and chips fell off the tiny plate. Why not use a plate the fits the food? Only the chips were hot. The Aussie burger was barely warm. It was hard, greasy and tasteless. Nothing on the plate was fresh. At $25 it was very overpriced. Food was served just under 30 minutes after we arrived. Compared to other places, that’s too long. There was a wall poster offering $10 off for a first time customer. Staff conveniently overlooked this, later apologising but not offering a refund. Not impressed! Atmosphere was rackety. Piped music was a tired medley of rock songs. Gents toilet was closed and stank. I certainly will not be wasting money on this place again. The owners need to take a hard look at how they compete in the market.

Most of the bar staff are lovely but one particular worker keeps trying to refuse serving a particular drink because she ‘doesn’t like the smell of it on her hands’ and it took another worker to comment on it for her to serve it, not a great attitude to have considering her role.

Just attempted to order drinks via menulog and they declined my order! 0/10 for service.

Clean and tidy. Staff were great and friendly. Great space for the kids to play. Adults had the lunch special for $15. This wasn’t the best meal we have eaten but it was only $15 and the kids ate free. I would go back again.

Disappointed that I wasn't impressed. Inflated restaurant prices without the quality. Poor service and lack of it. Air con struggled severely. Our group of 8 were all uncomfortable and although the food was ok we all agreed we didn't get value or quality for our money and won't return or recommend.

Pros first: Nicely decorated for a pub. Great outdoor terrace and has a kids area. Cons: drinks are getting up there price-wise, even for a pub. Food is barely mediocre and hellishly expensive given quality and time taken to serve. If the meals were 30% cheaper, at least the the prices would be reflective of the food being served. Service was not bad but also not great. Nothing of note. Save your money and go straight to the Liquorland drive-thru, so you can drink cheaper and bette drinks from the comfort of your own couch!

I hosted a 1920 murder mystery, on low budget and quite last minute and the staff at Mihi were absolutely lovely and flexible! Nikita the venue manager and the rest of the team have amazing communication and answered all my questions so quickly. The staff on the day were so friendly and provided amazing service. They made my birthday event the best it could be! They also helped with decoration from their previous 1920 event, the food was perfect! And the atmosphere was great! We got the end of the sports beer garden with a pool table and I am genuinely grateful for how amazing the team did, shoutout to Nikita as well! You made my night a great one ♡ A lot of my guests complimented the food and platters! I am forever grateful to the team and will definitely be planning more events and dinners at Mihi! I got the place from 5pm to 11pm (left earlier) with their 0 minimum spending promotion in the new year and only spend $185 on platters that had so much food! They were also very flexible and catered to different dietary requirements! Thank you so much team for your work, if I could, I'll give Mihi 10/10!

Had lunch at the MiHi today, great friendly service, beautiful food, food for everyone from 16months old to 76years old. Best part for me was a clean high chair for my 16mo. Appreciate the wonderful service. We'll be back 😁

Had great christmas dinner buffet here food was top quailty especially the bugs. Service was unbelievable and the atmosphere was great and especially the kids play area outside. Must go place if stopping by ipswich large array of drinks on tap as well.

Attended a Birthday function Boxing Day. Staff were incredible and were on point throughout our time there. Food was decent, great portions. To order a single Rum and Pepsi (they don't have coke on tap) was $10, however, for a double Rum and Pepsi .. cost me $24 (?) bar staff didn't know why; I didn't fight it, I was thirsty for doubles, however, seems totally ridiculous. Great venue. I would go back in future, if they had their price list looked at (drinks in particular, the doubles).

Had our first Christmas lunch at the tavern. Impressed with the selection and quality of the food. Didn't have to stand in a long queue to get drinks at the bar. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Would definitely go again.

Great place. But table service took a long time. We had to go up to the bar 20 minutes after meals arrived to actually get the rest of our drinks we ordered. Staff were super apologetic. Other than that, everything else was great. The smoking area was very clean and quite a good size area, and the sports bar was quite the vibe.

Only pub in the area. Medium size venue. Nice and clean and well lit. Friendly staff and patrons. Seperate sports bar, dining area and pokie room. Plenty of free off street parking. No other options nearby if you want a drink and gamble this is it for the area.

First time visiting the MiHi and quite impressed! Was able to book a table online very easily. Was met at the entrance and staff were very helpful with seating and informing us about the tavern and the menu. Bar staff friendly and able to offer an alternative drink when the one we ordered wasn't able to be served. Meals arrived in good time and were delicious. Venue lovely and great that the noisier kids section is partitioned off, so we could enjoy a peaceful meal. Most importantly for us - no noise from infernal pokies! Will definitely be back!

We ordered the Ribeye steak it was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. The staff were very friendly and the service was great.

Don't waste your time or money here. Go celebrate being Australian elswhere as this venue refuses to celebrate the best country in the world on our national public holiday.

Food wouldn’t be so bad if it wasn’t overpriced— “crispy” pork belly ($33) was completely soggy— “chips” were under the meat so they were also nice and soggy. Aperol spritz ($17) wasn’t made properly, way too much Prosecco. Idk, if you think this place is good you to expand your eating experiences.

table close to playground and outdoor dining access door which was open all night with cold wind constantly blowing through - staff said door mat remain open for safety reasons and unable to relocate our table of 12. being on the end nearest the door and even the menus blowing I found it cold and uncomfortable and as my food would be more likely be cold before I could I could eat it so not inclined to order anything

This is a great local that has consistently great food! Classic pub meals that don't disappoint, can always rely on quality meals. Great playground and often kid entertainment. Great value for money and one of our return spots. Great place for the family.

Lovely meal, quick service and staff friendly. Very busy and many celebrating birthdays. Both inside and outside seating available. Lots of variety available, some items were high priced, chef specials reasonable. Area for children to play, so they could be entertained. Access and parking suitable for everyone, whether able-bodied or with disability.
