Been coming here for 7 years and never been disappointed

The price, the service, and the food were well worth the drive

This place is the worst place in SA. They said no chicken snittys, no aircon, no tap beer. This should be a zero rating if I could.

Called in today and not open despite signals saying open 7 days 11.00am to 5.00am. 12.30pm by my watch at the time.

Not to bad. Need to do more to try to attract people

Salad was off, schnitzel tasted off and the sauce was straight out of a fridge. I wouldn't feed our meals to pigs. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Very impressed with the warmth of the staff here. Felt like I'd walked into a small country pub! Lunchtime snitty was good, a little on the small side, but fair for the price. Will be a regular patron once I move to the area next year!

Worst pub food ever. Stay away from the potato jackets and the tacos. The parmigiana on the snittys look so depressing. The medium rare steak was blue.

What a great spot! Came in for the schnitty platter and was pleasantly surprised! Two plain schnittys, two parmi's, chips, onion rings, nuggets, potato gems, chicken bites and coleslaw! Such a feast! Food was fantastic and so was the service. Absolutely love that there's fresh flowers on the table as well, something that you don't see anymore. Will definitely be back!

Chef doesn't know how to cook steak. Ordered two medium rare and they came out well done. Told the servers and they did jack all to correct it. 'Would let the chef know', basically enjoy the well done steaks

Lovely staff, husband had steak sandwich it was very nice, I had the burger, it was a lovely burger except for the patty, I took it out of the burger and ate the rest it was good then, patty was a bit rubbery didn't taste good

Birthday lunch for Dad’s birthday and Father’s Day combined. We had both never been to McQueens tavern before so was looking forward to a new dining experience. Walked into a huge front bar area, then proceeded through to the bistro. Helpful lady took our details for booking and directed us to our booth. Large bistro area with a many tables and chairs along with about 5 booths. Booth was spacious and a view over the dining room. Orders a bottle of Wolf Blass Red label Chardonnay and we both couldn’t decide what to eat from the extensive menu. We opted for the Tikka Kebabs skewered with onion and capsicum and chargrilled. The 3 generous skewers came drizzled with Tikka sauce, rice, grilled flat bread, small bowl of extra Tikka sauce and a refreshing mint yoghurt dip. Wow we were impressed with this scrumptious meal. We both struggled to eat it all as was quite deliciously filling. Highly recommend and we will be back to try another dish from the menu. Lovely and friendly customer service to top it off. 5 stars 🌟

We went here for dinner last night and I can't fault it....my husband had oysters natural and I had oysters Kilpatrick well done for starters and both were superb. My husband had beef snitzel and gravy and the snitzel hung over his plate and was melt in the mouth delicious and I had pumpkin salad which consisted of hours, roast pumpkin, cauliflower and brussel sprouts with baby spinach leaves, olives, toasted almonds and feta cheese with a mustard vinaigrette and 2 triangles of toasted pita and I added the chicken to it which was char grilled and juicy.... I have never had a better salad in my life....we will most definitely be returning for another meal...price was excellent with start, main and a drink each for only $107.10 😛😛😛 highly recommend

Had the schnitzel board, unreal value, and some of the best pub schnitzel I've ever had. Also, cheap beer! Can't go wrong coming here.

Its in a good location ,its in the same area as the greyhound racing complex .The atmosphere was very friendly ,the staff were very nice the food and prices were pretty good too ! 👍🏻

This is one of our go to pubs... Only ond drawback... No lunch menu, but a free wine included..

New simplified menu. So far, I've had the Atlantic Salmon with mash, brocollini, and hollandaise.

Went there for lunch. Quite good the meals were and service. Only 1 issue very cold in lunch area.

A bit pricey to me.

Went there 2 days ago, it was busy but we had booked. First meal came out in about 25 minutes, then 15 minutes 2 more came out. I asked where were the other 5 meals were, oh we are very busy I was told. We got 4 more meals after 30 minutes and then 10 more minutes for the last at 8.15, we ordered at 7.10. My steak was overcooked and dry as were 2 others. Not impressed, there were 8 of us and we will not be back, very disappointed it was terrible.

I was there with my daughter, her partner and 2 friends. The night manager lady with the accent is absolutely gorgeous. But the other 2 staff members were very very rude. My daughter said she was there 2 hours earlier and the same 2 staff members were rude. This was Friday 25 th of August. We were there from about 930-1130. So 5 stars for the Serbian lady what a beautiful lady, but zero further other staff who don't say hello or thankyou. Plain rude

Best beef snitzel. Have been craving this exquisitely thin oversized snitzel for years. Now I know where to get one! Also staff were friendly and helpful. Casual dining and casual feel. Toilets clean and tidy too.

The wait staff was extremely friendly! Everyone was smiling and laughing. The food was top notch! We had the lunch specials and the creme Broulee dessert! Very reasonably priced, excellent food! We WILL be back! I think we found out new favourite place to eat in adelaide!

I went there for dinner and both of us enjoyed it. Used to go there Tuesday nights for dinner and trivia but the trivia isn't on any more so it's been a while. The food didn't disappoint and is still very good.🥂
