It’s okay

Located on the Main Street of Mordialloc with plenty of parking nearby or a short walk from the train station. I dropped in on a Wednesday evening around 6pm for a cleansing beverage before checking out the beach - there were only a few other people in the club at that time so no problem getting a seat or waiting for service. The downstairs bar offers filtered views to the beach, I didn’t have time to check the upstairs rooftop bar which looks like it has better coastal views - next time I guess.

Top spot for a drink. Haven’t eaten here in a while as I cook at home. Five stars for the options on drinking anyway

Stunning sunset views over the bay! Dont miss relaxing upstairs on the deck! Alfie rock n roll band was great!

Food was excellent, the service was also excellent. Will be back in November for a special occasion.

Cought up with friends, and had drinks and a meal. I had the Mexican parma which was delicious. The had several beers on tap, including craft. All up we all enjoyed the food and drinks. I'd certainly recommend the place.

This is an amazing place staff are fantastic, the live music is wonderful the views from upstairs deck are stunning, food was delicious, generous serving sizes, an great price. Awesome local pup 😁👍

Nice place very lovely people

Food was nice, fresh but nothing outstanding. Staff were lovely. Was seated upstairs which felt a bit cold and not welcoming.

Couldn't hear myself think due to the girl working there yelling at the guy s working there trying to to impress them with near as!"! Forgetting there are customers trying to enjoy there drinks"

First time visit to this venue and was very impressed with the exceptional customer service, right from the moment we walked in the door and were warmly greeted by Bianca and Nicole. Nicole kindly took the time out to provide a tour of the venue, Harrison served us lunch on the well maintained top deck, with picturesque bay views, and Bianca organised us a dinner booking for the weekend. All staff were genuinely friendly and enthusiastic, which was a welcome change from many other ‘customer service’ establishments these days where staff act as if they are doing you a favour serving you. Owners and/or managers are seemingly doing something very well at Mordy HQ to have high calibre staff happy across the board.

Waiting 2.5hrs for my song in karaoke and it never got called

The refurbed upstairs outdoor area is an improvement just not sure about the fake flowers? 🤔

The restaurant section was in a large open room, with good spacing between the tables. The staff were friendly and did a great job, despite how busy the restaurant was on Mother's Day. The food was also good, and was served quickly. They were able to suggest a sauce to have with my steak that didn't have any onions or garlic, which was a nice change from other locations. I'd eat there again.

Nothing too fancy, just delicious, hearty meals that hit the spot every time. Whether you're there for a game, a meal with friends, or just a relaxing drink, Mordialloc Sporting Club ticks all the boxes. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great time in a laid-back setting!

Good service from some young staff who were very attentive. The food was good and served without delay.

Went with a group of ten,had the upstairs room and we all enjoyed the meal and great service.

Be prepared to wait for at least 1 hour for your meals. Waitresses were friendlywelcome. Bistro was noisey

A wonderful place to have a gathering of friends & family plenty of seating inside & out on the roof with pub style meals to choose from there's a range for all types of food lover's, great service & friendly staff, ring to book a function or just turn up for a breakfast lunch or dinner, booking ahead will essential especially on weekends!

Good meal options for those with food allergies

Went to Jack's restaurant Saturday with friends for dinner. The waitresses were attentive & friendly. Prompt service for our drinks & meal orders. The senior's 3 course menu is excellent value for money.. Our friends were impressed we'll come again

We were treated so fantastic by staff who wanted us to have the best evening, and we did! Out of the intense heat, cool and comfortable with great food and service.

Only took the Chef three attempts to Cook my steak blue close enough to rear and It was delicious

Had to send a steak back that was ordered rare but came out well done. The waitress brought the same steak back & told us the 'chef' said it was rare! Had another waitress check it out & she returned it to the kitchen for a new one...what happed to 'the customer is always right'? The kitchen there is outsourced. Will not be going back there again.

Great venue, tasty food and awesome staff

Friendly staff - although food took too long to come out. Food average - prawns were not appealing - rubbery and inedible. Mi goreng was too salty. Atmosphere good, however gaming room needs upgrade.

Service wasn't too bad, except took a long time to get served. I had the Garlic Prawns was not good. The Prawns were overcooked and hard, the garlic sauce very runny. Won't be going back. Very disappointed.

Unpretentious pub grub. Nice view from the Deck when the weather is fine. Be sure to get a seat away from the smoking area if you don't like drifting second hand smoke. Music can be loud when entertainment is on, so if you want a quiet meal, skip the Deck and eat downstairs in the bistro.

Ryan deserves employee of the year. His service is always top tier and he is the reason we’ve made the mordy hq our local. Keep up the stellar work!

New Years went to see the Fabulous Alfi Rocker Band, great atmosphere upstairs so could also see local fireworks going off. Staff and Management were great. I would not hesitate to go back and see Alfi and the Rockers there again fabulous night thank you Mordialloc HQ, Sharon Desmond

BEST ENGAGEMENT VENUE EVER. We could literally not have asked for a better experience in the lead up to, and on the night of our engagement. Di is so kind, accommodating & caring working within our budget & ensuring we were well taken care of. The upper deck is the most incredible event venue and the pricing is insanely good for what it is! 10000% enquire if you’re considering it you won’t be disappointed. THANK YOU DI YOU WERE AMAZING.

Went there for Christmas lunch waited three hours for food ,it was terrible .Would never recommend to anyone. Needs updating desperately.The food ,when it arrived was very basic,cold and not restaurant standard.

Unfortunately my linguini carbonara was overly oily and the pasta was over cooked and mushy. I would not recommend this dish.

I can not believe I was served fish that was still frozen in the middle. The vegetables came overcooked and inedible. It's unbelievable a chef would send out food in this condition. Eat here at your own peril.

Terrible, terrible service. Firstly, upon entry we were interrogated by a rude staff member regarding our booking. We had booked the deck and had 2 people from our booking already at the table. When we were asked about our booking, we were told by the staff member that it couldn’t be our booking because there were already a table of 4 seated and that we wouldn’t be allowed there anyway because it was booked out for a function. We insisted that our friends were there and after a few minutes were allowed permission to make our way to our table. Once seated for 15 minutes, we went and grabbed our own menus as no one had come to our table. Eventually a staff member came over and informed us that we had to order at the bar. She went on to say that there was a Christmas and specials menu too, however made no effort to bring them to us. The meals were good apart from a component missing from one of the meals, that was resolved when questioned. Once the function on the deck commenced, we were asked to leave. No effort was made to find us an alternative table/area even though the place was quiet and so we just left. I cannot believe how rude the staff were with one staff literally lifting her nose up at us and walking away. A bizarre experience and although the food was good, I would never return or recommend to anyone based on the poor treatment we received. We were nothing but friendly the whole time & did in no way warrant the treatment we received.

This place really surprised me. Amazing helpful friendly staff. Special mention to the barman on the day. Took my grandkids for early dinner. Nothing was too much trouble for this young man and the kitchen staff. Food was fantastic, fresh hot and delicious . The large screens are also great showing all sports events. Will definately be back. Great job team 👏 👍

Incredibly disappointed. Staff weren't able to find our booking but seated us anyway which we appreciated. Our evening went down hill from there. We ordered two meals ($45 and $42 each), one arrived and were left waiting for 45 minutes before we asked where the second was. The waitress we asked was kind, she found out we'd been charged incorrectly (staff quadrupled our drink order by accident, showing up on the receipt as our food order, and charged for that) so our order never went to the kitchen. We were asked to pay the difference, and after handing over the money and being told we'd have to wait longer we got frustrated, asked for a refund and left. Unbelievably disappointed as we don't get date nights often. At least we shared the lamb while we waited so my girlfriend didn't stay starving the whole time. Aside from the lovely waitress we bailed up originally to ask about our food (who was lovely and apologetic) we left feeling unvalued as customers.

Great day for the AFL grand final

Tired venue. Booked an hour in advance but didn't have our booking when turned up. Kids working on service trying their best but obviously unorganised, food average paid normal high pub prices. Great view though!

HQ / Mordialloc Sporting Club has Nice Decor, but some times on All days & times there can & are Far Too Many Drunks. Foul Language, You Name it.

Friendly staff, great place

35 weeks pregnant and kindly asked the extremely rude lady at reception to use the bathroom as passing by. She refused entry to the toilet as I did not have my license on me. Offered to pay for a drink or a meal aswell she laughed and still refused to let me use the bathroom. Will never be entering there again, what a wonderful experience!!!

We had a really great day here lunch was great and staff were excellent. Thanks guys as we had a great catch up with friends of 58 years and the staff contributed to a great time. Thank you

Very quiet venue at the time my friend and I had lunch there. Well set up. Easy to navigate with plenty of parking. Food is a little pricey for those on a pension or limited means. Nevertheless, my friend and I would visit again.
