As a local now for 70 years and have seen the place go through the normal ups and downs of any business. A recent owner change bought with it a hiccup which seems to have gone with one glaring exception. The public area was remodeled The management office is accessed via the area used for the bistro seating. Every time, without exception the managers office door gets SLAMMED !! shut destroying the tranquility of of the place as the office is entered and the exited . EVERY TIME ! Last as I dined a young couple with an infant in a stroller endured the slamming of about 8 times in the space of 10minutes traumatizing the baby. This is the only in the place that seems to get slammed . A bit less ignorance is going to help . Recently returning on 15/2/2024 following the fixing of the slamming door it is unfortunate the good work has gone to waste . I sat opposite the the to see closing mechanism is now back where it was previously . A party of four diners sitting outside the office got up and moved . Also the crowd was very small today and the kitchen prepared only a few meals at lunch .

Absolutely disgusting we booked in on the 3rd of Feb and left on the 5th of Feb even though we were booked until the 7th of Feb the room was disgusting. There was water in the roof mold as well cracks everywhere holes on the walls. Me and my partner went for a funeral and stayed here we cut our stay short because it was feral I don’t know about the other rooms but we were in room 3 I don’t suggest anyone stay there ever!

Absolutely appalling. Disgusted. Heard a staff member gossiping about customers behind the bar to fellow staff members so loud i heard from a nearby table, judging customers on appearance and social status. This is disgusting behaviour and i hope the person responsible is held accountable. This is not the first time i have also heard something similar and it is absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable for this to be taking place, especially by an employee who has been there for many years, as a role model to newer staff.

Had a family gathering today with 16 people, staff were terrific and food is one of the best pub meals I’ve ever had only hiccup was one of our Caesar salads didn’t get ordered. Luckily enough for us we would have had to have taken it home because we were full. Well worth a meal if you’re in the area.

Dont book rooms at Nawree . very unprofessional. They wont let you to checkin unless you allow them to take photo of your debit card details including CVV number. The security and the manager on duty was saying its their policy and when asked to show the policy, they where blabbering.. so pissed .. luckily i recorded their whole conversation as a proof. Either they are racists/trying to get customer debit card details to do something dodgy. I informed booking.com and got refunded the money.

Great menu with quality food served in generous portions sizes and at reasonable prices. Full bar, indoor and patio seating. Check their website for monthly food specials as well as events that are ongoing. We went for their rump steak - cooked to order, as well as their seafood special. Both were excellent and cooked perfectly - melt in your mouth good!

Always good food and a great atmosphere

Terrible stay, never coming back! I stayed at this hotel tonight, and the experience was extremely disappointing. First of all, the hairdryer provided in the room was rusty on the front and covered in several layers of dust on the back. This clearly reflects the poor hygiene standards of the hotel — it seems like basic cleaning is not even done properly. Overall, this was a terrible experience, and I will definitely not be returning. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great menu at Narwee Hotel Bistro with reasonable prices. Have dined here many times and have not been disappointed. The food is prepared in good time even when it's busy. My favourite has to be the beef and guiness pie, beautifully presented and tastes really good.

That bartender bloke jack is a bloody cracka bloke if ive ever seen one. Dont get me started on Lucas the bloody cobba. Cheap beers bloody fair DINKum. That jack bloke looks like he works hard, give him a raise guys give him a raise.

We have ordered some dishes and waited for around 30mins long. When I saw so many people after us got their food, we were wondering about ours, then I asked the kitchen, we found out that the cashier gave us the wrong number for the bell to buzz. She knew she was wrong but she did not say any words, not even “SORRY”. The kitchen staff were nice and asked if we wanted our food re-heated and get a fresher salad, so I asked to get new sauce because mine was getting dried. I dont expect much, but at least she said sorry because she made this mistake, nope, she didnt say any words, she even didnt want to see my face and just walked away when she knew she made the mistake.

Great hotel and only 35 minutes from the city by train and the station is 200 meters away. Good friendly staff but could need more help on Friday’s and Saturdays as it gets busy with the popular bistro.

Very convenient location just next to the Narwee train station. I booked this place because all other places close to the airport was almost twice as expensive. The train line goes directly to the airport and so it is very convenient.

This appears to be more of a local pub rather than an establishment focusing on accommodation. From what I could see there is accommodation on the upper floor, just not sure how extensive it is. I went for a meal in the bistro based on a recommendation from another local and I was quite happy I did. The food was excellent; one of the best Beef and Guinness pies I have eaten. The service was also well above what I expected. In particular the bar staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. I will be going back again.

Very dark! Not very good illumination!!! Twice I nearly fell due to the lack of good lighting!!! I have a balance problem due to CIDP! The food, I give three stars as I am bored with what Pubs and small Clubs serve up lately!!! We are in need of adventurous Chefs! It is a major complaint of lots of neighbours around my suburb!!!

I am still waiting for the refund that was promised to me after a terrible stay. I arrived to a “hotel” that is basically a bar and a casino with adjoining rooms. There is no reception, rather there is a bar that smells like alcohol and cigarette smoke. I was given a key to my room, and when I arrived and turned on the air conditioning, my room started to smell like tobacco from the ventilation from the downstairs bar and casino. To make matters worse, I returned from my day out in Sydney to find a cockroach in my room. When I contacted the front desk about this, they stated that it is normal for there to be cockroaches in the rooms in the summer. I requested a refund for all three nights because I did not want to stay in a place like this and instead wanted to switch hotels for a cleaner and safer accomodation. However, my request was denied because “it was past 2 pm.” This is unacceptable and I am furious at the quality of this “hotel” and the service that they provide.

Went and had our rump steak for dinner, and when receiving the wrongly cooked rump on the plates we ordered and had already put our source over the rum. I kindly asked the staff in the kitchen if I can replace the source as my partner had already poured her source on the wrong Steak Couldn’t believe the look I was getting from the woman and the cooks .. they couldn’t even speak English. If you’re going to get a job in Australia remember customers are always right, especially when you have made the mistake by putting the wrong source on the wrong plate.. Then after we sat down and started eating our food, they would all stare and would not look away.. like what the hell is wrong with people after coming here for our steaks for such a long time, we will not be returning.. no apology nothing and then when asking for a Diana sauce, she proceeds to give us a mushroom and as she hand it to me gives me a little smirk

I stayed with my partner at the Narwee Hotel and I was very impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of the room. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The location is also convenient, close to public transport and shops, also the Hotel bar and bistro is convenient for drinks and food. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quality stay and affordable. The housekeeper (Vera) at the Hotel did a fantastic job of keeping the room spotless and tidy. She was very attentive to detail and cleanliness. She was polite and respectful, and always greeted me and my partner with a smile. She deserves a high rating for her performance and professionalism.

We used the narwee hotel as a spot to travel to the city. It was easy to navigate transport system. Rooms were very clean and well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our experience was very positive.

We went for Trivia night . The room felt like the air-conditioning wasn't working. The food isn't as good as what it used to be, much smaller portions. Lots of car parking. Easy access for wheelchairs and prams.

I was very disappointed with the meal that I was served from the bistro. I ordered the grilled barramundi priced at $30 expecting the fish to be served with vegetables or salad but all I got was a plare of beans with some unidentifiable gooey green sauce topped with a small piece of barramundi. I left disgusted and still hungry.

I have never in all years patronage had experience such rabble - children running through out the establishment, I for example was caring 4beers in a tray- and one child chasing a battery driver car, run into my tray spilling the beers, there was 20 people seated on this area, kids playing chasing hide and seek, under their tables, and lounge area, completely unsupervised by parents and no floor management or signage to effect saying no running, or children MUST be supervised at all times- I was their two days later exactly the same rabble different kids - on both occasions packed house and patrons very disgruntled

Good - location (near to train station), comfortable room, ensuite bathroom, quiet ambience even the bar at level below, non smoker room, parking include. Bad - small toilet, confuse where to check in at first. Worth it to conclude.

I’m a regular here, the staff are lovely, the managers are great especially Surya. They make some great margaritas and are very friendly and good to talk with. Jack, Lucas, Hollie and Shirley are the best staff at this joint. Nita is a great gaming girl, very sweet and kind and always smiling. Great place for a feed and a chat especially with the staff. The security guard is one of the best I’ve ever seen, very friendly. PS - Where’s Shirley?

Management at Narwee Hotel gracefully cancelled my booking with no charge or fee. |Very honourable to say the least.
