Had a meal roast bloody amazinf

We booked the private room for a staff function. The waiter Sean was so helpful and had everything organised well. The dinners were also scrumptious.

Good food, good beer. Can get crowded with loud echo noise in the venue.

Food excellent. We put orders in for table of 9 and all food came out of kitchen literally within 10 mins. Roast of the day moist, tender. Sticky date pudding generous serve with good quality ice cream. Friendly service by the girls - and Sean :-) Arab Steed: 10/10. Would recommend 😃👍.

The restaurant had very cool booths I've never seen before so that deserves some stars. Staff were also quite friendly and one of the older male servers was exceptionally bubbly. Unfortunately the burgers we ordered were incredibly plain, they seemed put together by what you'd find in Coles and made by yourself, rather than a chef made burger.

We enjoyed drinks burgers and wedges on a beautiful Saturday afternoon sitting outside watching the sports. The burgers were great value with huge meat patties perfectly cooked and seasoned. I should have taken a photo. But they were eaten to quickly. Book ahead and enjoy

Had a fabulous birthday dinner at the Arab Steed Hotel last weekend. There were about 10 of us. I really must say that I think this is the best pub fare in Adelaide. The plates of food were beautifully presented, looking and tasting delicious. I believe the food is on par (if not better) with any good restaurant. The staff are also really lovely. One of the bartenders, Tristan, even taped birthday candles on my coffee cup!

Real pub food and ambience, tired the spaghetti marinara suburb, friend had sausages and pie,seving sizes awesome

Vegan bowl was delicious and amazingly cheap full wine list.

The chicken schnitzel and the scotch fillet are yummy 😋

The arab steed is such a welcoming establishment. The service is professional and courteous. A special mention goes to Jacob for his outstanding professionalism and hospitality. A highly recommended venue.

Everything you want from a good pub, great service and great food and such friendly staff. I had a great time tonight and looking forward to the next time.

Had a great work catchup lunch that flowed into dinner. We were a bit rowdy, but made feel welcome & the lovely Sean really took fabulous care of us! Certainly can recommend this place!

There is a great variety of dishes on the menu. The food is really nice and presented beautifully. Staff are always friendly and accommodating.

The night was super busy but staff were not troubled at all. Friendly service and excellent food. The schnitzels are a good size and delicious!

Arab Steed was my local whilst I lived in Adelaide. Whenever i’d go the staff were always amazing, food was great and affordable beer. Definitely recommend!

Lambs fry was overcooked and sliced too thin.

The long term staff and owners are second to none. Known as the only country pub in the city, with its classic pub food ( think roast, pies, top tier chicken schnitzel, bangers or lambs fry) and fantastic drinks list covering both your standard bevys and better than average wines.. the Steed will forever be the perfect pub to remind you what pubs are there for. There's a reason it's been a city staple for so many years. Splendid bottle shop attached!

Nice atmosphere- had the roast of the day which was thoroughly enjoyable. Nice friendly staff. Enjoyed playing the pokies too.

Great hospitality!! Owner was very friendly to us kiwis! He put the wahs game on for us, during the game we were losing, he came over, gave us a meat pack for free, to make us feel better!! He also had to turn our game off because their local AFL team THE CROWS!! were about to start, but gave us his tablet to watch the last few minutes of our wahs game! TOP MAN!! Also had good laughs with the locals!! Recommend going there!! 😊

Fixed an accidental spillage without fuss, and provided a replacement meal as some wine spilled on the food. Outstanding service!!

Great pub , the food I ordered was great and would recommend to anyone wanting a nice lunch and a couple of quiet beers with the TAB right there too.

Like to Thank the Chef for going out of his way in preparing my Seafood Luncheon Monday. Initially we went to have the famous pies but when heard salt intake Shane assisted by bringing Chef to counter and discussed menu. Great to return back again. Staff very efficient and polite. Maerschel

This hotel has given very good food & service over many , many years . All 3 of us enjoyed our meal & we all commented we would return . Service is fantastic & staff super friendly. Just remember you will order your food & wine etc at the bar . Not a problem to us .

Nice pub, good food,but very noisy at busy meal times. Have eaten here several times with great food, but the noise level detracts from a possible good experience. This was commented on each visit by my friends, so proving this is not just my personal judgement. This would not be a 'kid friendly environment' in any way. I find this situation poor as it is not difficult to solve. Just proves this pubs business focus is on the profit level and not the customer service and experience they're providing! This can be experienced in some other pubs - but not all! This needs to be called out to be the large problem that it is, and it is time to address this! There are measures available to solve this, is not difficult for the pub to implement!! ** I am now replying to the owners reply to my above review! Their reply proves they have profit placed above providing improvement in customer experience! It is very well known and understood how to mitigate excessive noise in crowded environments. With them saying that this 'is expected' in a pub is a total copout, and is proving that their customers experience is well down on the list of their importance! Have the management become complacent in the time they have been involved in their business - quit possibly? Just because this is how it was in past times does not make this normal and best practice! There is always room for improvement!

Have driven past this ‘local’ pub many times & was keen to try it out.. We were pleasantly surprised! Have had some terrible pub meals in the past but this one was excellent! Very relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and a nice outdoor area for warm nights. Not one of these pretentious overpriced pubs.. Will now definitely be our local! Highly recommend the salt & pepper squid! Keep up the good work! ⭐️

5% sunday surcharge. Surely you can just bake the Sunday penalty rates into your prices for the whole year. Annoying and leaves a bad taste.
