I have experienced the amazing service, great location and fabulous food and drink. This is a genuinely friendly inner-city hotel and I highly recommend a visit to you all.

The North Annandale is a family-friendly hotel, and is great for hosting parties, lunches, or just meeting up for a beer. I have been there on several occasions in the past two years, and enjoyed the experience every time. I also like how the heritage exterior has been kept maintained in its Art deco style, in keeping with the surrounding heritage area.

Great food and venue. Friendly staff. Very clean great atmosphere. I travel from the south to catch up with friends and this is our choice of venue to do so. Julie

Wow, what a below average pub. I'm shocked that venues like this still exist in Annandale. Won't be going back. Went for a raffle night (Thursday). The bloke who runs the raffle is an absolute flog and is so rude. He spent the whole raffle trying to put on a show for one group of regulars (who were also a group of loud flogs), and he let their group push in to buy half the raffle tickets so it sold out and no one else could buy tickets. Was honestly awkward for everyone else. It's like they don't want other guests in the pub. I heard another table of locals say the raffle is genuinely rigged for that same table too! The raffle money also goes to the pub and not a charity which is also weird. The staff are all 14 year olds with no customer care. It's like some sort of sad daycare where one old weird bloke is looking after a bunch of kids, but you also get served undercooked, very overpriced food. The one positive is the lady serving in the kitchen who is lovely. Possibly two different operations. Food is crap though.

Don’t waste your time and money. The food is disgusting. The chips were overcooked almost burnt, the bread was doughy inside and hard as a rock on the outside. The schnitzel smelt weird and tasted funny. It definitely wasn’t fresh. My family and I got up, left our food uneaten, complained to the chef and walked out.

The absolute rudest bar staff and management I have ever come across at a venue. No welcoming greeting or acknowledgement. Very, very poor customer service. Be careful not to interrupt their personal conversations or you will be looked down upon the rest of your stay.

Not bad. Solid standard pub. Got the pork cutlet special but it was a little dry but great flavours on the plate and was well balanced. Great caesar salad! Good tap beer options. Plenty of seating.

This pub has a good feel about it. It had a duo playing in the front bar - they were great. The staff were friendly. The food was good. There are plenty of areas to sit in. Definitely worth a visit!

I went for dinner and the food was really good, but the service was even better, the young lady who took our order was extremely accommodating to our dietary needs. She had a smile every time I seen her and was so polite.

Just moved to the area , so thought of checking out the local , came for lunch , the food was ok , not great not bad. The kitchen lady was nice who took the order. Went to the bar for drinks and wow zero personality on the girl behind the bar , absolutely zero ! Not good at all , no ice welcome , no good bye . Very poor hospitality. Unfortunately I won't be back. there are plenty of other places that offer better service in the area. Sorry guys , service is most important and unfortunately today we received terrible service.

Every thing is good and lovely. For raffle night . If the staff wants to give the tickets to their friends. Should let the friends be a bit quiet. 3 books of tickets given and 2 trays of meat win.make me feel like I'll not join anymore.

This pub is in a great location in a great part of Annandale, but it's in desperate need of new furniture, and a bit of a 'freshen up'. The drinks are pretty cheap, which is a bonus, but the pub is just tired and needs some energy and life injected into the place. Young bar and wait staff who are not professional hospitality people too. They were friendly enough, but don't ask for a cocktail there! A beautiful art deco building on the outside, yet a tired old 90's pub on the inside. Lots of potential, but not yet realised.

I recently dined at the North Annandale Hotel, and my experience was a mixed one. The food, while not exceptional, was decent but fell short of being remarkable. On the positive side, the atmosphere was enjoyable, though not quite amazing. What truly stood out was the service; it was absolutely amazing. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our visit pleasant. If you're looking for a place with excellent service, this might be worth a visit, but don't expect the food to blow you away.

A pronounced deficit in preparation requiring neglected table cleaning leaving wet surfaces as acceptable, seated under bright lights directly over the meal, subtlety not being a strong point. Be prompt in ordering or you won't be noticed, and miss out. Taking 'the local pub' meme - we don't really care mateys - a little too far. Food close to likewise. Game-lift required.

Great local watering hole. I would only suggest to please remove the rule of not being able to serve a Carlton in a pint. I take particular umbrage in only being able to enjoy a mere schooner of my favourite beer on tap.

A friendly local pub. Prety clean and refurbished. Luve music Sundays, good food and nice staff. Great red wine house pour. Good selection of beers. Newtowner, coopers, little creatures and vb. Lots of big screens for watching sport. Reasonable prices. On Johnston street. You can't miss it.

The North Annandale has been refurbished twice in the past 15 years. The latest extension has provided several nice indoor & outdoor dining areas. The bistro serves a limited but delicious menu if favorites. Life music in the front bar in Sunday afternoons!

No vibe but the trivia night is fun and the food is great

It is a fair public house , the Nth Anna pub Deco is Italian and Greek Mediterranean sea style very sterile , personal opinion just come if you are into that type pubic meeting place

The staff is always friendly and helpful. The food is great. Sometimes we get to see the live concerts. Great area to have meals with kids at the back. It's not a play area but it gives you peace of mind with toddlers...

I've lived in Annandale for ~10 years and this place has always been my local. It's a decent enough boozer, however it seems to lack a bit of character or soul. The drinks selection is decent and reasonably priced. The food has also come a long way from where it used to be, however there are definitely better options for pubs in Annandale but none closer!
