Worst place I’ve ever been to for food on the GOLDCOAST! Ordered a steak sandwich and could not eat it. Steak was that chewy and all you could taste was smoky Barbecue sauce. My Partner got the pasta was so bad taste like baby food in a tin. Ask for money back because could not eat it. Manger came out threw money at us and said never come back here again. Was so rude would not recommend this place if you want to waste your money on bad food go there. People beside us on tables were leaving food and walking away. The manager should be sacked. Very appalling behaviour specially for a manager. He does not know how to deal with situations. He just chooses to be rude to people

Everything was fantastic but we were seated right near the kitchen…..clang, bang, ding. It ruined our dining experience.

Had a few meals by now ..$15 -28 and ALL were very enjoyable !! They use butter ...got 7 friends around and all want to go back ..Staff is often very busy but manage to stay friendly. Thank you for a place like that ...and look after the cook please .

One of the best pub meal experiences we have ever had, it has table service with very friendly and capable staff, the food was very very good, and surprisingly inexpensive. I will now be looking forward to going back regularly and sampling the rest of their menu. Although it was very busy the night we went, the service and meals were served promptly. The atmosphere was overall great and the decor also good. EXCEPTIONAL! Went back again, this time for lunch, still EXCEPTIONAL! We keep going back, this is now our 10th visit, still all great.

Trivia is fun on a Wednesday

Friday evening 25th Oct, one of the worst experiences we have ever experienced dinning out anywhere. We were greeted by the most miserable, unfriendly, unsmiling waitress we have ever come across. After dinning out here many many times over the years, we would never set foot in the place again. For a business that had created such a good reputation for quality of service, it is sad to see. You have to ask why would you spend 27$ million buying a great business only to run it into the ground by employing staff who obviously don't want to be there.

We celebrated my dad’s 80th birthday for lunch and could not fault anything. The food, the service, especially from Tini was amazing. A wonderful time was had by all. Thank you so much and thank you Tini

I work in a pub so I know a bit about service and I was a little shocked when 2 tradies came into the. Dinning part and was told by a staff member who yell over to them from the bar sorry guys you’s have to go into sports bar with them work shirts on I have never seen that at any pub even at the the pubs I’ve worked at that has never happened they shouldn’t have to go into the sports bar because they have a work shirt on I also couldn’t order at the bar she sent me straight to a seat and than came over and asked me what I wanted straight after sitting down it felt like she was in a hurry to get my Order done with I should of had the option to go to the bar and order my food and pay at the same time service was just so rushed

Double booked us

Not very good when you've double booked a family of 4 on their birthday now we've got nowhere to go.

I am on holiday from South Australia and came to Arundel Tavern for lunch yesterday with my sister and a large group of people. I was impressed at the decor, loved the classy look of the tavern. The food was delicious. Had the $15 chicken schnitzel. A decent serving. The staff are friendly and were working constantly.

Pretty good as hotels go

Our first time here for dinner. We had unbelievably good service from the bar to the table service. The staff were very professional and friendly. The food was exceptional. All in all it was a really good night. The occasion was my wife’s birthday and all the staff went out of there way to make it a fun night. Thank you all from all of us

We had a table of 12 for a birthday dinner 22/5 and the service was disgusting. Everyone was served their meal at all different times and everyone on the table had totally finished their meals before the last 2 people got their meal. When we go out for dinner as a group, we like to eat together as a group. We will not return to your tavern to spend our hard earned money of terrible service.
