Skye & her team were so easy to deal with, professional and accommodating. Our combined 21st & 18th birthday party event at Pokerface went smoothly & was so much fun. Everyone commented on what a great venue Pokerface was, (including the toilets), how delicious the finger food was, how much food there was, and how nicely decorated the venue was. In one upfront price, Skye and her team took care of our venue hire, security, catering, bar tab, staff, DJ & decorations! All l had to do was bring my laptop to plug in, to show a photo slideshow & a wishing well box to set up on the gift table. And can l say how nice it was for someone else to set up & clean-up? It was a totally stress-free & non-tiring event from our point of view. Plus, being located in an industrial estate, we didn’t have to worry about noise restrictions or any gatecrashers. I’d definitely recommend Pokerface as your next party venue for any type of event. Thank you Skye & team!

Communication is very poor. Emailed to get info on a price on the venue as I wasn't sure how it worked. Got a poor response saying we don't do venue hire, just custom packages. No further info. I have since emailed twice to ask about packages and haven't got a response back. Not sure if they want business or not?

We had our daughter’s 1st birthday party here and our wedding after party. Honestly 10/10. Skye is amazing at what she does and always goes above and beyond for her customers. Definitely will be booking again for future events!

Was at this venue for New Years eve. Good venue, but considering how much we paid not much food. Everything else was good.

Was told about this place and decided to spend New Year’s Eve there at a cost of $150. P/H and i can honestly say that it was a total letdown, i have had better experiences a my local pub

We only heard good things from our guests the whole night from how amazing the venue was, to how friendly the staff were! We wish to re-live the night over again. Great hidden little gem

I pre purchased tickets for Blondie in May which they cancelled a few days before. They stated that a refund would be given and this has not been the case. Even after many emails and contact on the Facebook page, still no refund!! I definitely won’t be pre booking any event there again!!

Skye was absolutely amazing to deal with, she made the whole event stress free from the beginning to the end. The set up was absolutely gorgeous and exactly what we asked for, for our daughters 1st birthday. All our guests made a number of comments on how beautiful the event space was. We will definitely be using Pokerface again!

🙋🏽‍♂️🙋🏽‍♂️🙋🏽‍♂️🙋🏽‍♂️🙋🏽‍♂️, I had the pleasure of attending Pokerface last Sunday, a couple of my friends were playing/singing acoustic. Now, when I entered Enterprise Ave, it was an industrial area, not what I expected, there was a moment of trepidation. OMG, what a pleasant surprise, a beautiful venue tucked in at the end of the street, adjoining some park land, it is designed to surprise you, and it does. Things only got better. I will preface this by saying I had not entered a licensed venue for over eight months due to serious illness, i was scared TBH. Personally I believe that you can normally judge a venue by the demeanour of the security. The guy at the door was ACE, polite and welcoming pointing me in the right direction, tick, tick ✅. You enter a spacious area feeling the ambience immediately, the beautiful high roofs reminding me of the old Riverside Inn during the eighties. Smart modern decor chosen to suit any event, with plenty of room to move. The stage for the singers built for a duet or a six piece band, ‘flexibility’ and forward thinking utilised here. It was the bloody toilets that also impressed me so much, consistent with what I’d already seen, clean, welcoming (haha), and easily accessible. But with all venues, the staff is the key, and they had been chosen wisely. Friendly, polite, attentive, highly efficient, and a cross section in respect to age. Having that kind of diversity is a winner, and when they flowed around the room offering finger food (excellent as well but I haven’t the culture to describe these culinary delights 🤷🏽‍♂️) you could recognise they were enjoying themselves. Oh, the singers need little praise from me, they are my friends and excelled as always. I got the opportunity to interact with a group of friends I haven’t seen for some time, in a place I felt welcome and at ease, no mean feat for me. I had the best time, and you would as well 💯%. I note that they have ‘ticketed’ entertainment on selected dates, I love the idea of listening to quality music in this ‘intimate’ venue. As mentioned earlier, this venue was planned to cater for a variety of events, from a wedding reception, business forum to a lazy Sunday afternoon listening to quality music, just to name a few. Exactly what this area needed, you can only go to ‘LAVA’ so many times 🤦🏽‍♂️.

Nice venue but it was freezing inside especially after they switched the gas heaters off. Finger food was a nice bonus even though there wasn’t a lot going around.

Love this place, well organised and fantastic live music! Great to have somewhere local to go and have some fun 🙌💖

Nice all around lounge

We went to a beautiful wedding at this venue and it was amazing. The staff were so friendly and always smiling which you don’t see often in other venues, it was clean and had a beautiful atmosphere. I highly recommend and we will be back for the lived music.

Pokerface was absolutely amazing.. disable friendly, wonderful, helpful staff. Escape Goats were fantastic as always. We will be definitely going back to Pokerface for another awesome night out. I think I could even go on my own, I felt completely safe and looked after. Thank again… 10 stars

We celebrated our sons 1st birthday at pokerface. Skye did a wonderful job decorating the venue with a safari theme that exceeded our vision. The food was delicious and the older kids enjoyed the play area that was set up. It was a perfect day and we're so thankful for everything the team did to make our day special. Also the French Martini is a must!

We had our wedding at poker face and it was incredible. From start to finish Skye was amazing and went above and beyond, nothing too hard. Everything was absolutely perfect, couldn't fault a thing. It was everything we wanted and more and will remember it forever. The staff were fantastic, bartenders were great fun, food was perfect and setup was beyond perfection. I couldn’t recommend the venue enough for any kind of function!

It was lovely but a bit of a concern as far as having the heater near the entrance. The chairs are really uncomfortable.

We were lucky enough to use Pokerface for our sons 1st birthday/surprise wedding! Skye went above and beyond and exceeded all of our expectations. She helped us bring our vision to life and it was executed flawlessly. We can’t wait to have an excuse to throw another party!

We had our son's first birthday party at Pokerface. The venue was set up so well and I cannot recommend it highly enough. We will definitely use this place again in the future.

The most beautiful hidden gem! I’ve never been to event space like it. Total sophistication yet catering so beautifully to all age groups. I hosted my husband’s 40th surprise birthday there and all the guests have not stopped raving on about how stunning this space was. Skye and the team made us all feel soo comfortable and catered to our every need and beyond. Thank you for making this the most memorable event for our family and keeping the kiddies soo entertained.

I used Pokerface for my daughters first birthday. I sent my ideas of what I was wanting. Pokerface exceeded my expectations. They went above and beyond to make sure my event was beautifully set up. I also organised catering through Pokerface and the food was delicious. I also felt the price was very reasonable for what Pokerface organized for me. I showed up on the day and everything was done. I cant thank them enough for making my daughters first birthday so special!

I just celebrated by 30th birthday here and I am so glad I chose this place! The venue is stunning, looks even better in person. The food was delicious, the staff were amazing the whole night, there is enough space so we could have a jumping castle and ball pit for the kids. I organised a photo booth and grazing platter which they were accommodating with. I honestly couldn't fault this place at all. Best spot you will find in the area to have your event. We will definitely be booking in again :)

I cannot speak highly enough of the professionalism and perfection this space provided for us, everything we had hoped for was fulfilled to such an amazing standard. Absolutely love Poker Face-Event Space! It's definitely the hot spot in town to host your event at, i've been too a few events held here and each time it is has been incredible. Location is perfect as it's away from houses so no need to worry about upsetting neighbours, it's extremely spacious so plenty of room to make an amazing event, the owner Skye is extremely friendly, polite and accommodating, she goes above and beyond to make sure your special day/night goes according to plan and stress free. Also look out on their Facebook page as sometimes they host their own awesome events such as boozy brunches, comedy nights, live music nights and more!

This is the best thing that has happened in Berwick in decades,its run in such a professoria and very friendlyl manner, the owner and staff make you feel very welcome for the moment you walk in,the band is one of the best ive ever seen, and Pokerface attracts the right crowd, I'd personally like to thank Skye for bringing CLASS to our region, and if i could buy a life membership i would.

Seriously impressive, it’s like a private exclusive club. The owners and managers have done an amazing job to create a relaxed classy vibe. They get the best comedians and top shelf bands and singers from the CDB to come and perform at this venue too. Oh and the finger food at the ticketed events is delicious. If you see something advertised at this venue that you are even half interested in, do yourself a favor and book!

Found this venue last minute and it was the best choice! The manager was friendly and flexible to work with , highly reccomend this place! Great parking spaces, very clean and simple deisgn in the inside. The manager was happy enough to lend us some chairs and tables. I got a lot of compliments about the venue. I will definetly be rebooking in the future with them!

The owners are always so friendly and helpful. This venue is highly recommended. They will take good care of you and your requirements. Always enjoy our time spent here at every function held.

I hosted my Business Christmas party at Poker Face in December of 2019. The facility was perfect for hosting all my guests and families, we had a bucking bull, as well set up for the kids and big kids and still had plenty of room for grazing tables and other entertainment! I would highly recommend poker face their service leading up to the event was next level and so helpful as well as on the day of the event! I will most definitely be using poker face again for another function for sure!! cheers guys x
