Orion hotel has a really good standard of food, the live music is really good, not so loud you can't have a conversation. There could be another bar staff or 2 on as the service can be a tad slow but overall a good experience

The atmosphere here is always great when entering. Good vibe, not too rowdy and tidy environment . Staff are very friendly and welcoming and food is always fast, generous and well presented!

Went to go grab lunch or breakfast at 11am no staff anywhere walked around lost found some one but was told kitchen does not open until 11 30 what a joke you will open and sell alcohol but no food shit service lift your game

We booked a table of 8 for a Birthday dinner and brought out own cake. They were super accommodating with the children in the group, let us refrigerate the cake during dinner and lit some candles and dessert plates. It was an amazing venue and the food was delicious. Definitely go again.

The pub needs to more raffles meat tray etc during the week and weekend

My family attended on Feb 1st for dinner. Originally we had booked for 5 people but ended up with needing a table for 14. When I called to manage the booking the staff were really accommodating even after advising they were booked out. The staff I spoke to were lovely, customer service was great! When we arrived & ordered, considering it was packed, our orders starting coming out within 20 mins after ordering. Our family was stunned, we were prepared for the 45 min wait 😂. To top it off, food was delicious & staff were really lovely & kind. It was some of our first time & I know for a fact when we are back out in Orion, we will reattend. Thank you for a great night with delicious food. Can I just say my husbands creamy prawns was delcccccious & I’ll be getting that next! Well done Orion Hotel 😊

Service behind the bar was great, good interaction from one of the fellas in particular. The big turn off was the weird “no berks and pluggers” rule. I go to an Aussie pub because it’s casual and especially in Ipswich. There is no reason to try and jazz up an ippy pub. Let us wear pluggas guys!!

This was the first time I had eaten here, and it won't be the last. Great food and good looking venue.

security tried to let me in at 10:25 Jan 18 2025, after didn’t realize it was a foreign licence didn’t try again and refused me entry for “seen throwing up outside venue” I have cancer in my stomach and it causes lesions, fire whoever is working the door immediately

Great service, great meal, and energetic atmosphere. Live band kept us entertained while we ate but wasn't too loud for us to be able to hold a conversation.

We have lived in the area for over 5 years, out at Springfield for the umpteenth time and were looking for somewhere to eat, sick of the normal fast food we decided to pop in for lunch. Walked straight in at midday, no booking (could have been luck) table available, staff were very accommodating, old school ordering (at the cashier YAY), then came the food - probably the best parmy's we have ever had, I had the KG wings with jug of beer (with only 1 glass) and the manager on shift was lovely. While we were there there was a kids animal show on which was cool. Busy but wait times were not bad at all. While I have only been there once, I could not see how anyone could have a negative time here. I really look forward to going back and kudos to the chef

Great place for dinner and a few drinks great staff

Ordered the rump lunch special, medium rare, it came out blue! Partner ordered slaw with his and we paid extra, it was a bag of Cole’s shake salad with kewpie poured over the top. Will not be back! Food very average for the price you pay .

If I have to pay $9.07 for a half warm schooners I would expect decent service. Staff that continue to wash glasses even though they know you are waiting. Same staff then serve locals even though they know you were waiting before them. Been like this for years.

Massive shout out to Jack & Larrisa, every time I come to this venue they are super helpful and provide great service to myself & family. Absolute superstars, highly recommended coming here for a feed & some drinks.

I recently went here and had a good experience with a blonde chick who was working there. She was friendly and made sure we felt welcome. She helped us with drink choices and was pretty attentive throughout the night. Overall, she contributed to a nice atmosphere, and I enjoyed my time there. Would definitely go back!

Wow absolute tasteless Prawns in what was suppose to be creamy garlic sauce Dry Rice not even a wedge of lemon to get some kind of flavour very disappointing to say the least and for what you pay.

We had a family Christmas get together here on the 14th December and even though it was extremely busy, our meals were brought out quickly and were absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and prompt.

Great place to go for dinner, drinks or to play pokies. Always enjoy myself. Staff are friendly and helpful. Cocktails are great. Food is good. Highly recommend

Sat inside and ordered food and drinks off the QR code at the same time, drinks didn't arrived until we'd basically finished our food and when we asked where our drinks were, we were told our drinks were being made in the outside bar and the bartender was busy. There were 4 staff behind the inside bar making drinks for everyone else. Make it make sense.

Great atmosphere, food is fairly decent but drinks are probably the most expensive in Queensland.

Great spot for a lazy Sunday or any day of the week. We probably spent 8 hours in there yesterday. Chilled spot with local singers, good atmosphere & the bar staff were great. Do watch what you pay for cos they do have specials & if you're not careful, you will be charged top dollar until you notice. Otherwise, what a great spot

Service from the games room/spotted gum lady this morning was abysmal. Short blond haired lady. Ignored us initially and then didn't want to take our order. There's no one else here! It's empty and yet she's wanted us to go to the bar instead! She finally took our order and then refused to give the members discount. I've never experience such awful customer service. Go to the Terrace Bar everytime you come here. So awful, I'm embarrassed for the family members that we brought here to enjoy the food and atmosphere. She needs to be trained in customer service.

It was an odd open area where we ate with the bar in our area closed and had walk out to another area for drinks. The ribs were the fall of the bone I had expected but tasty nonetheless. Could have done without the Halloween decor and noises as we tried to enjoy a meal.

It was a public holiday when we went. Used the QR code to purchase food from the menu. The first order I placed did not get confirmed by the QR code so I made another other which was generated and confirmed. I figured this out when I checked my bank account that I had been double charged. I asked the bar staff for a refund for the first lot of order which was not confirmed but the money got taken out of my account. Don't forget I also paid for the public holiday surcharge on the first order and the second order. The bar manager processed my refund however he said he was unable to refund the public holiday surcharge. That is unacceptable! Basically I paid double payment of public holiday surcharge. Yes it may just be $8 extra but still that is $8. You are ripping off your customers. The manager also smelled like he had not had a shower in a week or so. Other than this terrible experience the young lady who served me was lovely and the food was delicious

Recently booked a small space out for my daughters casual bday celebration. Krystal was very helpful and made booking so easy. We ordered food platters for 20ppl but easily fed up to 50. The atmosphere was fantastic. The ease of putting a bar tab on for our guests was great. We had our 12 yo there up until 10 when the night life started to kick in, and the nightclubbing patrons began to slowly stagger in. Overall, this was a fantastic place We stumbled upon as we are not local to Springfield. We will definitely book with them again, and our family and friends will also keep them in mind for future bookings. Thank you again, Krystal

The ambience of this venue was very good. The food was enjoyed by all in our group. Would recommend easily.

The atmosphere and staff here at Orion is amazing. Great service with friendly faces ready to help. Had a great time eating lunch here, the food is so good. Had a couple of beers watching the footy and listening to great live talent. The gaming room is big and spacious with all my favourite machines there. All in all, a great place to spend my time. Every time I come to have a punt they have a bar there in the sports bar but never open it , so you lose your table when you go to the other bar . Young staff prefer to be around the other side chatting
