Good food and vibe apart from patrons being allowed to smoke off to the side of dining room, all the smoke came into dining room..really surprised they are allowed to smoke there!!!

Bad service from server took food 1h and 30 minutes to come got it wrong and ordered a drink with black specks all inside of it

The renovations have made it a slightly less enjoyable experience. However, the parts they have done look fantastic, and the meals are great tasting and value for money.

I gave this place one star in order to write a review but I wanted to take it away again. I can't fault the staff, but the service was so slow, but served with a smile. I am vegan, but I don't eat like a little bird as is the general view of restaurants re vegans, so I NEVER get a reasonable serve. This was the case at Para Hills. I ordered the 'vegetable and soy bean' salad. It cost $21.90 for a bit of shredded Chinese cabbage and maybe 6 soy beans. I don't eat bread (my problem) so I was very hungry and when the salad arrived, I was horrified! The other half had the liver which was awful, grey, dry and boring. There was a small dob of mashed spud! We tried Para Hills again, after a interlude of a year, and re paid our membership. Waste of money!

Still reasonably priced good prices, service renovated venue. Become a member and save. Membership is still reasonably priced and good beer prices. They provide great entertainment as well , how do they do it.👍

New part looks nice but not well thought out ..music is not as loud and bar area to get served is smaller and food line to order is to long with 1 register open not 2 so you can wait up to 15 mins just to order then another 45 min to get meal

Love the PH club been a member for years. Don't like that you can order your food and drinks at the same time from the person at the food till. It should be food at one counter and drinks around the corner at the bar. It slows the food service down. It used to work well with old set up, why change. Frustrating

Had lunch at Para Hills Community Club after having a long time to go there. Was disappointed they don't accept seniors card or have a seniors menu. Did see a few lunch menu items which looked smaller in size. Ordered 2 pieces grilled fish which were small bland, cold and had no flavour. Vegies were just cauliflower, few pieces corn and tiny serve of mash potato. No green vegies. Won't be back as so many other better places around.

Good service. We visited for the first time on Saturday and thought the food was amazing. Kids shared a platter between them and I had a vegetable wrap that was absolutely delicious. We will be back!

Lovely meal. I had a steak which was tender.

Nice upgrade to the Club, food has been great and reasonable prices food an drink. the only downside is whoever they got to do their sound must have been cheap AF as the acoustics is a nightmare and extremely loud then the microphone and speaker setup is terrible. You guys could do with hiring a professional company to do sound dampening and percussion pictures on walls along with setting up the sound systems correctly etc, may even be a full sound system upgrade as the one installed is terrible. Ive heard multiple people complaining also about the sound.

Went to club tonight last minute decision. Had an issue with my meal as was not written down on docket as cealiac order. They did change my meal for me and it was delicious . The head Chef came to our table to apologise for the unfortunate mistake. We both really appreciated that . The staff were friendly and the new renovations so far are lovely including an open kitchen. Thanks again Mark for your visit to our table. See you again soon.

First time back since renovations, ordered the beef schnitzel, thought it would have improved since renovations but it was cooked the same way as before, bland and dry. Maybe your cooks/chiefs should try the Somerset Hotel or the Mawson Lakes Hotel and get an idea of how to cook a proper schnitzel. Won’t be coming back in a hurry 😞😞😞😞😞😞

Thursday night quiz night is excellent. Great food and good drink prices.

I've driven past it for the past 4 years and decided to check it out. Was packed, but that just shows you that it's a local favourite spot. I got myself a membership only $15 and ordered a meal. I just got the southern fried chicken burger and a $ 6 pint special. The staff that serviced me, one lass that setting up my member and the other lass that took my food and drink order, were lovely and friendly. With how busy it was and the que of people ordering, i was pleasantly surprised how quickly I got my meal. Also, the sizes of some of the meals that went past me. Great value for money as well and with how everything is, you can't knock it. They also have live music as I was leaving there was someone setting up. I figured, it be a fortnightly treat to myself grabbing a meal there.

Great club for yummy affordable meals, staff are Friendly and efficient. Staff in the gaming room go above and beyond what is required of them. When picking up empty glasses they always ask how are you going. And if you would like another drink.

Had lunch here on Sunday 8/12/24 Ordered chicken schnitzel & it was so over cooked. The only good thing was the hollandaise sauce, bread rolls were crap. It was very noisy. Won't be back!

First time back since renovations done. Impressive but a bit too noisy. The food was excellent and a generous serve. They were very busy and handled it well.

Wow this new revamp of the community club is outstanding. Loving the improvements and credit to the board and builders involved. The outside deck overlooking the oval is absolutely perfect, massive TV screen is on point and all backed up by an incredible new menu. Check out the seafood and meat platters absolute value for money let alone the cheapest beer in the area.

Very very noisy, not a good ambience for a meal, garlic bread not eatable, main was not that good, went to table that had other diners, asked waitress if the table would be cleaned & given a filthy look. Will I go back, certainly not in a hurry

Been a member for years here absolutely loved it, went there yesterday, worst meal ever seafood basket 1 piece soggy fish 2 squid rings 3 prawns 2 scallops and chips no salad was told that's extra, it looks like with Renovations happening they have sacrificed quality for quantity of meals with a 45 plus minute wait time.

So, I'm a regular at this fine establishment. They're currently doing renovations, so things are a bit limited, but it promises to be quite epic. Membership is affordable, but you don't have to be a member. They offer two sections and pokies (if you're into that sort of thing), with food specials out of their kitchen. The food is very competent pub fare with a few slightly more creative dishes at reasonable prices in this economy. The bar is well stocked with a good selection of beers on tap and in bottle. Wines and spirits are on offer as well. So if you're in Para Hills looking for a feed and a cheeky bevvie, stop on in. If you come on Thursday nights, maybe even sign up for the largest Quizzame game in Australia.

Definitely worth a membership, cheap pints, decent facilities. Keen to see dining room upgrade ( currently under construction). As much as it's a smoking area, nice to sit out on balcony adjacent to parklands and oval. Full TAB and lottery facilities, and for those into pokies, a large area with plenty of machines.

Not happy,,waited 40 min + for a Parmi,, that was soggy and pretty much tasteless,,how they get good reviews is beyond me,, Staff were really nice though.

Great pub, cheap pints. Great food and atmosphere. Current upgrades will make this place even better. Free entertainment mos weekends and some weeknights.

I've been going there since a child so 50+ years and it has evolved and change over time but is still a great place to eat with lots of wonderful memories.

I've been going most Thursday nights for Quiz and honestly, it quickly became my go to local. The food is great, the beers are cold and the people are super friendly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great pub night out!

Renovating happening so had lunch in club bar...amazing.. Great atmosphere, service excellent under difficult circumstances...a bit of a wait for food but that was ok... roast port special, plenty of meat and veggies....staff are always friendly and helpful...club will be amazing when Reno's finished. Plenty of car parking.... twas a good afo...

After playing the pokies we ordered 2 roast beef lunches. The beef was very tough and the vegetables undercooked or overcooked. The roast meals were awful.

Few us visited for the quiz night! We frequent quizes around the north but this is simply one on the best venues. Atmosphere, service and food are quite easily the best going ground. Will probably return on a non quiz night for a quick meal!
