My wife and I are holidaying at 7 Mile Beach. We are down from Brisbane Queensland. It's so nice to find a wholesome dining experience when you're away from home. We didn't stay here, we already have accommodation, but dining its trial and error. Friendly Staff made a great dining experience better.

Dined here twice and each time the meal and drinks were excellent and with service to match! Stayed one night...minor hick-up with our booking but staff went out of their way to remedy and compensate us for our inconvenience and to ensure a comfortable stay. We really appreciated their concern and care and would happily stay again. Well done...keep up the good work!

Good food

We had originally paid to stay at the Richmond Arms Hotel but left early due to the conditions, and the Pembroke Hotel was a much better option! We stayed in the spa suite, which provided us with two comfy beds, lots of pillows and towels, and a few toiletries. The stay was private and plenty quiet. Music at the bar downstairs could be heard for a bit, but ended around 9pm. The bathroom was mostly clean, except for a tile near the tub that was broken. Both the bathroom spa tub and the shower were clean and worked well. This place was a pleasant place for us to rest after getting a rough nights sleep at the aforementioned hotel the night before. The location was also very convenient to many adventure areas. And the staff were super friendly as we left the next morning! Thankful for Pembroke Hotel.

Fantastic meals customer service was fantastic

This hotel has dirty, smelly carpet and the toilets are disgraceful, The scent odour trying to mask smells are over powering and sickly.

Called in for lunch as visited this venue last year while on holidays. The meal portion was good value for the price but sadly the quality compared to last year let us down.

The food is ok but won't rush back. I have visited this place twice, and each time, it just fails to get any better

Very nice food and the service was great. There was an innocent misunderstanding with my sons meal, but staff were very apologetic and fixed it with no hassle. I love a good chicken parmi, and the Pembroke has a fantastic Chicken schnitzel/parmi range.

Best steak sandwich, with tender chargrilled steak, bacon, runny egg etc. Great value for $20 with chips included. Also can be takeaway meal. Pembroke never fails.

My car's fan belt broke as I approached Sorell and I was forced to spend the night in the only place I could find, The Pembroke Hotel. At first glance I worried that it would be too noisy, being on the main street and with a popular gaming parlour downstairs, but the bedroom upstairs was immaculate, quiet and comfortable; the hot water sprang from the shower immediately, the kind manageress at the bar lent me an i-phone charger and allowed me to stay all next afternoon while waiting for my car to be repaired. I would recommend it warmly.

Flew over from Vic for a wedding and stayed here , beside having to go up and down stairs to get to our room it was a good quiet place to stay . We didn't have much interactions with staff but when we did it was excellent they fully catered to our needs or requests ☺️

Not flash but clean and comfortable. I finally worked out how to open the windows on my way out which would have made my stay more comfortable. Well situated with short walk to Coles or Macca's. Sorrel is a gateway town with routes to the east and west. Loved the clean friendly town, and flower gardens. I will come again!

Awsome pub meals, food is really good and not bad prices.

AMAZING food! Probably average on prices (i.e. not cheap), but portion sizes were huge and our family ate their fill. We spent on average ≈ $30 per person for dinner main meals. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating despite our late arrival to the menu board. Only travelling through, otherwise we'd stop in again. Great Job, Pembroke Hotel! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻

Nice quiet pub to stop in for a meal and drink . Service was friendly

I dined here with family last Thursday night and food was alright, the service from wait staff was great however the chef was speaking to our waitress (holly or molly her name was) so rudely that we could actually hear him swearing / abusing her in the kitchen from where we were seated. Really ruined our whole dining experience. We felt so bad for the poor girl. Appalling behaviour by the chef.

Had dinner here for the 1st time Saturday evening. To start, the service was amazing. Only one girl working the bar, but she was great, not the best selection but the outstanding service makes up For that. We tried the arancini, tempura mushrooms, seafood feast, pasta of the day (fettuccini carbonara) and kids fish and kids burger. The Aranchini was mushroom and black truffle, beautifully cooked served with aioli and salad. The mushrooms and pasta were both good aswell. Seafood feast, the prawns, squid and scallops were done perfectly, the fish was cooked well but flavourless. The kids fish was great, cooked well and really fresh, wish we’d got this fish on the feast instead of the other one. A great place for a small family dinner, the dining room isn’t huge so prebook where possible

This isn't pleasant review but needs to be said.|Thought we'd go out & have a nice dinner & drinks.... wasn't I wrong. The girls behind the dining room bar seemed to be inconvenienced by us being there.|Order a nip of rum & can of coke, no we keep the rest of the coke for the next person....WTF|New then we should have walked out.|Ordered dinner Pork Cutlet & vegs $32, Crumbed Trevalla $43 chips & salad, extra $3 for a side, only get chips or salad or vegs with main meal. Both meals very average.|Never again, only out for as much as they can get out of you. |So if you're looking for a place to go & have a great meal with good service, avoid his place like the plague.|

We went there for tea on Sunday night and sorry to say the vegetables were disgusting and will never go back

Enjoyable lunch for 3. Started with tempura mushrooms - delicious and large serve to share. Stuffed and baked chicken breast with dijon mustard sauce with fresh corn, baked beetroot and chat potatoes was excellent. 2 x chicken parmas were huge. Doggy bags for all 3 mains required.

Went to this hotel for tea last night, have been a few times always good. However this time I was a bit disappointed as my meal was just OK as to really nice. I think maybe because it was busy kitchen staff were under the pump!

Went to the restaurant it was great. Husband got a gluten free Aussie Parma which he loved and I had the seafood feast which was amazing. So many gf options well done. Only problem the place was a tad cold.

We were staying ion Sorell to help relatives move into their new Sorell home, and decided to stay at the Pembroke Hotel overnight on the Friday. The room was very clean and cosy with everything needed for an overnight stay. Plenty of parking at the rear, and very busy bar being Friday night. There was a band playing, but nice music, not head thumping loud music, and we slept well in a comfy bed. Bathroom was clean and shower was good. Had lunch on the Sunday in the bistro, and the food was excellent, with the group having lamb cutlets, crumbed scallops and blue eye trevalla. All were very yummy. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.

We stopped here for a quick, early dinner on the way home from camping. Excellent value for money - it’s simple pub food, done well. Very generous serves. The kids were really happy with the kids meals.

I stayed in the first room with the spa it was horrible I would never stay there again and I recommend that no one else does first thing the carpet was dreadful and it stank the fridge underneath was rotten the spa was black the shower looked like it had never been cleaned in years it was cold all night and for 125 dollars a night i would not think it was worth 50 a night the beds bases where torn and to tell you the truth the staff was so rude to me it wasn't funny plus the power went out at 10 pm I couldn't have a coffee and I couldn't get back into the spa plus someone broken in to my room we I wasn't there I asked for a refund and was rudely told I'll only be reimbursed for on night yet I didn't sleep the first night as I wS spoked all night I was sceard and as I said to them I should be reimbursed for the hole lot cash I've been paying to dollars as I'm homeless hope Frank Morgan is happy ripping off a poor person thanks Frank Morgan you're truly what they say you are money hungry and to top it all off under the bed rubbish from the last person who stayed there and why they didn't really reimbursed I left my clothes there to go get some food and the funniest think I had no power to the room until I left there at 4pm were is the justice I'm taking this further to court I'm seeing the Pembroke hotel

Hotel room: well that was quite an interesting experience 😅 we had the spa room. It was above the bar.. quite and clean enough. The floor could use a better vacuum and shower class was not cleaned at all, could see someone else’s conditioner there.. but other than that the jacuzzi was beautiful and clean. The bedding was nice and clean as well. It has a “western movie accommodation above bar” feeling to it in a way.. 😅 probably wouldn’t stay again but not regretting visiting either 🙂

Met with family for a meal here, worst food I have had not one of us could finish our meals they were over cooked, oil running out of the battered fish, prawns & scallops, only decent thing was the side salad that came with the seafood. Wasted over $150 as none of us could eat our meals.

The best meal I have ever had thankyou I will definitely pass it onto my friends and family the reef on a chicken parmi ow my god and the salad. I was full but it was to nice to let it go to waste yummy
