The club buffet dinner was fine and lots of variety to choose from

The food is only fair as for the pokies they are wound so tight to lose if you do it for entertainment purposes don’t go there I’d advise you to go to Star City Casino the odds be far better I can’t rate the food not been there more than once when it opened . I hope you win the big one guys !!

Went for dinner at restaurant, food was very average. I had fish and prawns with chips and salad and my mother had the massaman lamb shank. Lamb shank was awful, tough and not much meat in is at all. The seafood was ok, but chips were soggy and cold. Would not recommend and we won’t be returning to eat at all.

This is the best RSL I have ever been to

I went there and tried their buffet. It was an amazing variety of foods and was delicious. Great place to grab a drink. Though wine wasn't too good.

At the moment there's a renovation going on, but the club has a buffet, a restaurant/Coffee lounge and two bars

Great Buffet experience

Very disappointing food in the bistro. Nachos was bland. Served on base of tasteless pulled beef, no more than 1 tablespoon of diced tomato, no salsa or refried beans topped with minimal corn chips , a little grated cheese and a dollop of sour cream. NO GUACAMOLE NO FLAVOUR IN SIGHT OF THIS $29 DISH

Great club - one of the best in the West !!

Went there on a Thursday for an all-you-can-eat lunch last week. I like the nearly-palm-size prawns in the salad bar and the steam fish fillets. The sushi dishes were served like a sushi train. The cooked food is done up to the par, and the dessert section has a rich variety. Very nice under $30 budget lunch. We needed to sit at the outer area since most seats were occupied, but no waiting was required. The carpark is under renovations, and it was a bit of a mess atm. Nothing life threatening.

The guy Eric at the front check in on date 28/12/24 at 11 am was very rude and disrespectful. I don’t know why they have him at the front desk. Management should really check and evaluate who they should have at the front desk checking people in. We had over 100 family members coming into the RSL and it was a very negative start to end our end of year family celebrations

With 5 stars 🌟 service and organisation of seating was excellent also food variety and cleanliness was high standard..especially seafood and the baked Turkey and vegetables .. and chinese food..also pavlova was amazing..staff were 5 stars🌟 we enjoyed the Christmas lunch today will be booking in for year 2025 xmas lunch again..❤️ happy customers 😊

Great place to relax, enjoy the space as the club under-goes new renovations and have a delicious meal, coffee or an alcoholic drink.

When to a Christmas party there food was very ordinary. Our friend's vegetarian meal was a disgrace.

Enjoyed the Buffet great range of food,just need to get parents with kids to stop running around and to be more supervision when getting food,found they got in people's way when carrying food plates

Vicki was exceptionally professional and very friendly too.

Go there for dinner n dancing most times bands are great there is one band we don't enjoy Black Dragon just don't like the singers screaming songs. Other than that we really enjoy being there staff really look after us.

Nov 2024. The extensive construction/refurbishment work is still in progress, but is now moving closer to the stage of being internal fit-out.

Visited the buffet and it was sad. Use to be a good place to go too. Now just bland food, they wait till trays are empty before filling them. So you either have to wait or pass by.

We are visitors from interstate, made the mistake of dining at the MAZE, the food was so bad, we handed the meals back partially eaten, with no response from the staff! Spoke with the RSL reception, they advised that MAZE, is independently owned and run (we were unaware of this) Received a prompt phonecall from management ( Sue ). Sue explained that MAZE has no affiliation with the RSL, apart from leasing their property, the RSL is being partially renovated. Sue was lovely, apologised and offered us a complimentary meal at the Buffet, which we did attend and was really good. We were fussed over by manager Penny, so warm and friendly, we were so spoilt. All in all, the Penrith RSL are lovely and do care about their clientele. (Doesn't happen too often !) P.s thankyou to manager David too. Neena🙏

Best place to go and chill and watch the rugby or sports on the big big screen. The buffet all you can eat there is definitely the place to hit when you are starving for a variety of choices from Asian, roasted beef chicken pork🍖 vegetables, sushi trains, seafood to salads, lastly the choices of desserts 🍨. Went there last night. Band the Frocks were awesome. Real party atmosphere. Dance floor pumping all night. But wish we didn't have dinner at the Cafe beforehand. Extremely overpriced. My meal of grilled fish and prawns was cold. And not worth the price of $37. Garlic bread was $9 and was just 3 pieces of dried hard loaf bread with a spread. Meals extremely overpriced

Great & friendly staff.😉 Two different places to eat as you have the Star Buffet all you can eat & the Maze for more traditional meals with a twist. Well worth the visit for very cold ales, spirits & all the fancy cocktails you can think of.😉

Good food, coffee and space to talk and even play chess- on Wednesday nights. A great place.

The cafe has good fresh food& efficient friendly staff, well worth it.
