Overpriced , poor quality, broken handles , leaking taps , water leaks every where , poor maintenance of the rooms , poor quality of the bathroom and poor quality toilet , It’s not recommended, avoid , it’s a very expensive with poor toilet and poor quality room

This place was an awesome venue to be able to cater for my family event last minute (100+ people). Kim and bistro staff and bar staff were awesome. Very friendly, very professional and just a great bunch to deal with. Let us do our cultural dances and run our event without any fuss. Even had the owner come in and watch... was a great day. Very pleased with the service, would recommend to all. Thank you Plumpton Hotel, I will definitely book my events here again.

We stayed here for just about a month while we looked for a house in the area. we stayed in 3 different rooms, rooms where filthy dusty as we had to buy a vaccum to vacuum the room and wipe everything down ourselves as the cleaners do a horrible job. We also ended up paying late as we had to run to the bank to get money out which took longer then expected we got charged a late fee of $50 which was understandable upon paying for 3 extra nights in cash a blond haired male staff member said we had to pay another late fee of $150 which we did as we needed a place to stay so all up we where charged a late fee of $200 I have spoken to staff not going to name anyone and was told this would be looked into I’ve called repeatedly and keep getting told I would get a call back I’ve never received one so this motel has ripped us off $150. Not once did we ask for a discount of any sort staying here the staff are rude and liars this pub well the ones we spoke too. ||I am absolutely disgusted that this is how this establishment operates.

Went to dinner last week with friends and ate at the restaurant. Steak sandwich was okay would be nicer if more toasted otherwise flavour was good. Chocolate brownie was soft and just the right size, we shared. Staff were very nice was a quiet night on the Wednesday.

We had a kettle & toaster, no microwave & the pub kitchen offered to hire us one for $50- No plates, no cutlery, ONE glass, is the toaster an ornament.? No hand towel, no tea towel, no hairdryer, not even a chair to sit on & it really needed a good clean.

I stayed there last night bed was comfy relaxed and watched TV only to look and see a big cockroach on the wall.. Walls are dirty and definitely could do with a good clean looks like people have been putting there feet on them..attention to detail is a must in these situations..for $150 a night you would expect clean rooms which should be done properly regardless

Its just another suburban pub, but I went there last Friday night and had the rump steak with chips and salad. The sides were fine, but the steak was outstanding. A bit small, but thick and perfectly cooked. I asked for medium rare, and it was cooked to perfection. Tender, moist and just great. Very happy.

Friendly staff but food was average for the price you pay

We ordered lunch & it came an hour later, Air conditioning wasn’t working, Rude customer service & overall an unpleasant experience. Will happily not be coming back & would advise to consider other pubs before this!!!

I read the reviews.... was hesitant to stay... But our stay was fine.. staff were polite, room was what you expect from a budget motel.... lost one star as the TV could be a little more upgraded!. Otherwise, was clean, lunch at the restaurant was nice. What more do people expect for $150 a night for 2 adults, and one child!. Will come back next time.

Went for trivia, which with host Nathan is always so entertaining. Most impressed with the food. Tasty and huge portions. We were given take away containers and brought home enough for lunch the next day.

was a great venue but the food went down hill over covid and may pick up again. good under cover area for the kids. often does trivia but they keep changing the trivia company. This is my local and has cover bands and karaoke nights. generally a busy place.

Great bistro

I booked accomodation for one night. When we arrived I advised the manager we were checking in and she said no problem and she'll be back shortly to check us in. 20 mins later I am still waiting at the bar and the manager turns up and say oh sorry I forgot about you. The drinks, food and room was okay, no problems there. After we checked out and arrived home, I realised I left one of my Airpods in the room. I called and spoke with the manager, she said she would go check the room shortly and call back. 2 hours later and no call back. I called back and I was told by bar staff the manager has my Airpod and I can pickup. I organised a friend to go and collect for me and they were told they didn't have my Airpod. I called back and was told they never found my Airpod. Argh... Honestly, avoid this place at all costs if you can.

Avoid this place at all costs. The food quality is not the best although it’s the lack of customer service is what it makes it terrible. The waiters all seem like they don’t want to be there and when you ask for extras such as sauce get told to read the signs. I also witnessed a couple next to us complain about their meat lasagna not having any meat and when they did share that with the waiters, all they did was say “sorry you didn’t like”. No effort was taken to rectify their complaint and they completely brushed it off. The couple got up and left immediately which is poor customer service. Do not go here, the food and service is complete trash.

The staff kept serving alcohol an offender who assaulted me for no reason. Plus they let him loose wondering around after the assault. I was trying to avoid the fight and simply waited for a taxi to pick me up. While waiting there for the lift it could have happened more chances of physical dispute if I didn't keep it cool.And guess what, no memberships to new locals but they still have discounts to old locals. What a bunch of hillbillies !

Plumpton Hotel was fantastic helping me host a baby shower staff food and service was absolutely amazing 🤩 would recommend 100% to anyone looking to host a function

Celebrated my daughters baptism here yesterday! Kim & Chef’s hosted amazingly. Outdoor Venue was great and food was delicious👌🏽 1 less star because we were initially told the food will come out altogether but it actually came one by one over an hour frame which had our guests getting up every time a new dish was brought out instead of all the food laid out and guest only needing to get up once or twice.. other than that will still book here again :)

Arrived at 7 went to reception I had booked a room for 4 a few weeks prior to find out they had no room for us I had two kids needing a shower and bed . After a heated discussion with reception he found us a room . We went to bistro my meal was horrible took it straight back they gave me a bowl of chips we got two hamburgers pink burgers couldn’t eat them would not recommend this place ever

Came to have dinner with my family, service was atrocious, food was cold and well and truly undercooked but apparently wasn’t, drinks were disgusting and flat. Asked to speak to management and they were not helpful in the slightest and were rude. Chefs were making smart remarks about the food. Definitely do not recommend coming here!

Today we celebrated a christening at Plumpton Hotel - Kim & the staff were absolutely fantastic. The location & the service great. Would highly recommend this location for your next function! Perfect for kids!
