Great location. Lovely staff. So pleasant and helpful. Very thoughtful as well, we were placed on a ground floor room due to it being seen in our booking that we had young children. Check in and check out process was so smooth and easy. The rooms had everything needed and more! Great rooms for a family. The pool is great and we had such a comfortable stay. Would not hesitate to book here again. Highly recommend! Lovely family business.

I've been staying here on holidays since I was a baby. This place is tranquil and relaxing, and the guy who manages this place (Ren) is very accommodating. I will be coming here many years to come.

Where do I begin.... arrived at Aussie resort on Friday 29th march, check in was easy no one was here just grabbed the key from a lock box, but that was the end of the easy part... my family and I settled into room noticed there were a few black hairs on the sheets (gross) but didn't complain. Came to bed time and we undid the blanket at the end of the bed and it had stains from start to finish on it.. ok gross but we will use the spare one in the wardrobe that one had the snot from about 10 different people spread all over from God knows how long! We rung the office at this point it was about 730pm a lady answered I told her the story I said we need new blankets this isn't good enough she then told me nothing she can do there isn't anyone on site to bring you any?? Huh?? Strange ok so what are we supose to do ? Not to have any blankets ? She said we can get house keeping there tomorrow with blankets ... ok great but what are we suppose to do tonight? She didn't know what to say ... so I asked her what are my children going to do have no blankets ? She said I'm not going there tonight so I would have to wait.. the owners are on holiday and there's no staff at the resort. At this point I'm fuming we paid to stay 2 nights! And the first night my family can't have any blankets and my Kids are ither stuck with someone's bodily fluids and snot on the blankets or have none. My family obviously chose to have nothing. ||||We wanted to leave and get a refund at this point take my family and go somewhere else but there was no one to even give us a refund, no shops open to buy blankets we were stuck. All we wanted was the bare minimum we bloody paid for.||||Next morning I think a different lady (this one was nice) sorry didn't grab her name bought us new blankets for our second night and she apologised... seems she's the one running the place while the management or owners are on holiday 🤔 but she had no authority on anything only to bring us blankets when she clocked on again.||||The amount of dust in the room would be enough to set 100 asthmatics off.||||Absolutely terrible place to stay unless you want to catch something on unwashed bedding. Very unhelpful with no one on site and not anyone to care about their customers.||||We are now about to leave very unhappy and grossed out and want to warn everyone about this place. Once u give them your money it's hard to contact anyone hard to get help and hard to get the bare minimum you paid for! AVOID THIS PLACE

Terrible room, dirty and management nowhere to be seen or to care ! We wanted to leave after we arrived. There wasn't anyone to get a refund from and we were stuck in a gross room that I wouldn't even put animals in. Stay away and do not pay to come here

Lovely room, although we had to clean the shower. Walking distance to everything we need. Ren is very friendly although a bit forgetful when asking for room service. Would stay here again

This is quite possibly the worst place I have ever stayed. The room was disgustingly dirty and extremely run down. The staff were also really unhelpful. They said that I didn’t confirm for a portacot soon enough, so I rang and hired one myself from a local company. I don’t understand why the hotel could not of been helpful and just rang the hire company themselves. All in all it was just a terrible terrible place to stay! The lack of cleaning and terrible smell in the kitchen was the worst parts. Do not stay here!

Really good set up, feels secure. The unit was simple, but clean, homey and had everything we needed. The managers were really friendly and helpful. Great position, close to the beach and within walking distance to the main part of Burleigh Heads. Would definitely stay there again.

I would say it is 3 stars. Was not clean on arrival, hairs in the bed and bathroom, ceiling fans so full of dust. Needs a much better clean which I did on departing. However the managers are lovely and the pool area was nice and location was great. The furniture could use a deep clean especially the upholstery or replace as it's very dated. It seems not so much a holiday resort, more permanent renters however we still enjoyed our stay.

We've been here 30 years ago and 20 years ago and also last week, I don't think I'll be booking a room here any more, nice place but furniture Iand wall pictures I remember from 30 years ago, update required also If I get charged $650 a night I would expect cleaner room and service The cutlery was dirty in draws, there was lefover food from previous people in the kitchen cabinet, and they expect you to clean otherwise they will charge you for it. If you want people to clean your rooms you should reduce prices... We stayed in 5 star rooms and paid less. Hopefully Aussie Resort will uplift all rooms and check prices and include room service as it should be. All the best

Not worth the money. We were given 1 roll of toilet paper for 6 nights, Had to buy our own toilet paper as reception was closed during the busiest time of the year. Room was very dark despite being on the top floor & had an odd smell. No fresh towels we had to wash our own as we were staying a week. TV was broken & apartment was very old & tired. Pool area was nice and great location but would not stay again.

Definitely not worth the money. We had 1 roll of toilet paper to last us the 6 nights we stayed and reception was closed we had to go buy our own toilet paper. The TV was broken, foxtel & Netflix didn't work the TV was black. Very dark apartment even on the top floor. The room had a very odd smell and the shower was not clean. Had to wash the towels as nobody was coming to clean or replace any towels. Would not stay again.

Don’t stay here!!! Overall the room is very dusty. Someone took a DUMP in the SHOWER drain, I’m not joking (see the picture). I thought dust was blocking the drain so I went to poke it through and ewww. It shows how they don’t clean the room, and reception refused to move us to another room. DONT STAY IN UNIT 7!!

Whilst the Aussie Resort has been around for a while, the rooms we stayed in have had a lovely refresh and the cleanliness of the rooms and pool facilities was awesome!! ⭐️ The managers Ren and Ting Ting are lovely and the price was extremely affordable, especially given it was during schoolies 🤗 Plenty of bars and cool restaurants within walking distance!! Thank you Aussie Resort for a wonderful and relaxing long weekend!!

Ren was super friendly and had great communication even before our arrival. The room was perfect, had everything we needed and super clean. Overall a lovely, quiet resort and perfect location across from the beach and an easy walk to Burleigh or Miami. Also the best pool in Australia. Will definitely stay here again 😊

Solo Traveller - I stayed here for 3 weeks and was very pleased with everything. Communication with the managers right from the start was immediate, friendly and helpful. The apartment was fresh, updated and spotless. So happy to have a full kitchen and laundry. Loved having my verandah to sit out on and all verandahs look out on the pool which is lit with coloured lights each evening . .Beautiful walks and regular buses at your doorstep. Thoroughly recommend

I must add that there is nowhere to say guests have to climb stairs!!!

Phenomenal management and the pool is perfect for a young family. Walking distance to absolutely everything too!

I appreciated the good communication and the setting up of a cot for our baby with nice sheets and a blanket, but this isn’t a resort. Lots of the apartments are privately owned or rented by permanent residents. One of the residents was horrible to our kids in the pool and kicked them out of the spa “because I live here and I want to use it”. Four of us in our apartment but we were only given three towels. All the plates were mismatched, with only three tea cups and not a full set of four. Cupboards were stuffed with unused items like an old lamp and wrapped up plates. Furniture is heavy, dark and dated, it’s nothing like the photos. Kettle was rusted with a dodgy handle, bin in the bathroom was rusted. Reception was closed the whole time we stayed so we couldn’t even ask for an extra towel. It’s saving grace is it’s cheap and in a good location, and the apartment has amenities like a washer and dryer.

Stayed a few times rooms are always clean and tidy. Self-contained and have laundry amenities .Secured underground parking. Pool and BBQ areas always clean and ready for use . Owners are always welcoming and happy to help. Super close to the beach and a small set of shops with all you need within walking distance or surfers paradise just a short drive away.

I've never had a resort manager greet me in the car park and help me to empty my car and carry my bags up! So helpful when you have two kids. Rooms we very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed 4 nights booked on Agoda. Had stayed previously 5 years ago.||Pros - good location about 10 minutes walk from Burleigh village and 1 minute walk to the beach. Friendly welcome from the manager Chris who carried my bag up to the 2 ND floor unit 47. Nice pool and well maintained gardens. Good WiFi.||Cons - the actual unit is very dated and apart from the TV everything is from the 1980s and the kitchen is basic. The old stove has rusted hotplates that look unusable and the ancient microwave was difficult to use. Old furniture and no frills.||Apparently each unit in the complex is owned by individuals and so the quality varies considerably. The owner of unit 47 needs to update the facilities.||Tip - the noise from the Gold coast hwy is considerable and suggest that you try to get a unit at the rear with the bedroom facing the sea to get some quiet.|

Excellent! Owners would not let us take our own luggage up fantastic service! Plus the pool is literally Australia 🤣😂

Great place to stay, friendly people great facilities and wonderful spa (even if it was raining!) i'd stay again. They lost a star as there was an entire troupe of large red ants all over the room... they bought me a can of bug spray at 10pm when i rang reception and told them of the problem and then they did get pest services in on day 2 and the ants didn’t return after that thankfully.

The manager, Chris, is a really good guy and takes care of you. We wanted a quiet light filled apartment on the ground floor, which was promised and available. The pool is heated. Downside was the WIFI, but resolved by connecting phone to my laptop. If you're disabled there is not a lift so ground floor is a must, ||||Apartment could do with a refresh, otherwise all fine.

Chris does an amazing job trying to make you stay the best it can be. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the beds are super comfy. But best of all is the location, so close to a perfect beach. Amazing value for money.

I remember staying there with my family, when I was a kid in the late 1980's. Must have gone through renovations. Standard 3 star accommodation back then. Don't know about now.

Excellent value for money, good location, apartments are very clean, spacious with everything you could possibly need. Staff were attentive and really friendly. Definitely will stay again.

What a good value resort. A hidden gem. On the beach, very comfy bed and generous sized rooms. Close to restaurants ( walking distance--5-10 mins easy walk). Staff were very helpful and polite. We are staying there again next week. Our stays have only been overnight, and each time has been lovely.

Its a nice and confortable place

Very dated/old apartment. Extremely noisy as it’s right next to the highway. Have to close all the windows at night otherwise too noisy to sleep. Wifi is definitely a joke, it disconnects every 10 mins or so. It’s not a resort, it’s an old self-contained apartment (you have to buy toilet paper yourself, toiletry is not provided). The room also smells funny if you turn the aircon on. Will not recommend it.

Nice close walk beach easy

We stayed in unit 29 for 6 nights, unit was clean and well presented, kitchen well equipped,the manager Kelly was very helpful even offering to carry our bags up 3 stories for us, thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy our holiday in comfort, we would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

If your looking for a no thrills really nice to place to stay. This is it. It's amazing for families! The property managers are kind, considering, and caring! Have stayed twice now and will be back for many more.

Lovely clean rooms at affordable price

Think this is the 5th time I stayed here since it opened in 1984. Each time I have enjoyed it but this time was so relaxing. Room was well maintained and the few glitches we had Chris (onsite manager) noted and attended to promptly. Great resort feel, well appointed - bring nothing (starter amenities pack provided), shops, cafes, clubs & restaurants within 1km (easy walk) Minor traffic noise, but to be expected of any accommodation on this part of the Gold Coast. Transport at the door, and Bus/Train card can be easily obtained at the 7Eleven 100m up the road, but we chose to walk everywhere - even to Surfers Paradise
