The guy working there does everything very good and fast! Served us at the bar took our food order and delivered it - special burger for $14 on a Thursday , we had Haloumi burger which was delicious . Nice location on the wharf !

Great place to relax with friends. Great music and vibe. Suits all ages but particularly those 40+ Small plates are just Devine and the service is some of the best in town!

Great food, incredible vibe and the manager organised parmi’s right on kitchen cut off time.

We came on 2 occasions, first for a drink and later for dinner for the $14 Parma night. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The Parma came out in less than 15 minutes, and was delicious and great value for money.

After being told of a 30 minute wait for food, after payment, an hour later 2 lame looking $24 cheeseburgers arrived. Bar tender was running, not sure what manager and 2 kitchen staff were doing. So disappointing for a waterfront venue on a Thursday night. Get your shit together

Totally love this place and spend Sunday arvos here each time we visit from Melbourne. Great service from the guys that work here. Awesome acoustic act today. Stormy played 3 awesome sets over 3 hours. Couldn't ask for a better afternoon!

Sat in for lunch and a beer, they were badly under staffed which getting a drink took ages and my steak sandwiche took over an hr to come out and that was very ordinary. Disappointing considering it's a great venue for a drink/food.

Where was the Manager this afternoon? Bar and kitchen staff were absolutely swamped. Salamanca Markets on, a hot sunny day, the height of the tourist season and only a 2 Bar staff and one of them was running food. We ordered food one hour later still nothing, then to be told the order was lost. There were other tables along with us demanding refunds. One of the key points in Hospitality is SERVICE, there was none of it and you need to treat your staff better. They didn't need to be under the pump and stressed like they were. Roster more staff on, it's a no brainer. The no show Manager needs to hauled over the coals.

We waited an hour for our food, they lost our order and there was very poor management only 2 bar staff/waiters and 2 kitchen staff

I’m very disappointed with my latest experience at Post Street Social. I submitted a written complaint 4 weeks ago detailing what lead to this experience clearly expecting a reply and have received no response. It’s disappointing to see such a lack of accountability from local business, especially as I’ve never had an issues in the past.

Foods pretty good but they play basic as f club music at lunch time. You have to be half cut and rolling to enjoy these tunes at the best of times.

We booked space for 40 people for a work Christmas function. When we arrived there were only two tables reserved for us. We had to ask for more space, and we were only provided with one more table. We made this booking two months prior to the night, and it was then again confirmed by staff the week before our booking, extremely disappointed that staff did not accurately account for the booking number in the first place.

Dropped in on Sunday for lunch with a family group of nine. The food was great and the outside tables were fun to sit and watch the Mona ferries and other boats coming and going and to see the horse drawn carriage go by. But the best part was the amazing service we received from the young lady serving us. She went above and beyond to assist us.

I ordered the Porterhouse steak medium rare and it arrived burnt. The salad was just lettuce and two pieces of onion. Very disappointed.

Post Street Social is a great place to get a meal with friends or loved ones and with the ocean view just across the road to look at. Great atmosphere and staff were very attentive.

You have a very rude waitress there. Young lady blond was very rude and obnoxious.

Work Christmas function, food was just average at best...sat outside which was great...would I go back, for a beer maybe...a meal, never!

Table was preset ready for my booking, my family was well catered for and the lovely lady with dark hair and a friendly smile was so eager to assist and a pleasure to deal with, food and atmosphere also fantastic would highly recommend!

Visited on a Friday for cocktail happy hour, basic cocktails that weren’t great, service was slow. Perhaps an idea to have one person make cocktails and the other person serve if there is only 2 staff, instead of both staff serving and taking orders and no one making the cocktails or taking them to the tables.

Terrible service, left without getting our drinks we had ordered. Did get a refund no apology for the lack of service. Won't be going back

Service ok. We had a drink in the outside area. Midday. Table, floor and glass was filthy. Obviouly not cleaned for a long time. Shouldn't expect people to sit in that.

I ordered a parmi way before kitchen was closed. Waited in anticipation cause it looked like a good parmi for 40mins still nothing. Went up to the bar then ask about my parmi and all they could do was give me a refund which I unfortunately accepted. Then 10 mins later I saw someone come walk out with a parmi. I am extremely disappointed in this service and the lack of communication with patrons.

We went here for drinks on a sunny afternoon. We sat at a table at 3.30 ( it had a reserved sign for 6pm on it) at 4.30 they came and asked us to move because the booking had come early. Not happy with thr treatment

Great location on the water. We ordered chips and a jug of mojitos. Both were generously sized and tasted great!

I went there on two occasions. The 1st was in the evening. 5 separate bartenders chatted amongst themselves or massed around an especially handsome gentleman. After 10 minutes of no service I left. On the 2nd occasion, it was early afternoon. One bartender had to manage a whole and very busy bar. She did her best but I did not envy her. I understand how hard it is to find help these days but both issues seem to be an error in management. It gets 3 good stars coz the location is excellent and the live music act they had on was an excellent performer, I'd go back just to listen to him.

Amazing view and friendly staff, but half our tables order came out half an hour apart from each which made things extremely awkward…

First time we went for a farewell function and they wouldn't serve food before a certain time which wasnt mentioned when we booked for 20+ppl. Surely if you are serving alcohol you can serve food. 6 months later went back the second time for a work function and ended up being served a raw pink chicken schnitzel, all the meals came out at different times, it was super loud and noisy and the tables we had booked had not been reserved. I won't be going back.

A great place to enjoy a pub meal. Large outdoor area with water views, fresh air (and heaters for those cold days). I got the chicken parmigiana and loved it. Generous size, moist and packed full of flavour. Came with salad and chips.

Great place to sit outdoors enjoying the summer breeze. However, it seems the place was understaffed during that time (Friday afternoon, and there were two big groups having lunch). Ordered southern fried chicken burger, arancini and szechuan salt and pepper calamari. It took more than an hour for the order to arrive. Taste wise they were okay. If you come for drinks, it may be a good place to visit. For having a meal, it is better to find somewhere else.

My second visit in two weeks! Live music on both occasions was fabulous. Food is delicious and the cocktails (particularly at Happy Hour prices) are spectacular. Friendly staff and a great vibe. I imagine that it’s a brilliant place to spend a sunny afternoon, though sitting by bar with family was fun on a rainy night was cosy too.

Lovely girls behind the bar. Good service. Great cocktails. Sunday had live music which was amazing such fun vibe. Credit to the performer! But he stopped at 7pm so we left shortly after. Arranchini balls delicious. But overall food average pub food
