Food is ok staff are emotionless atmosphere nil

We've just had a fabulous night at the Red Lion, great food, great entertainment. We really loved the atmosphere there tonight. We can't wait for the next visit. Thank you to all of the staff for their fabulous service xx

Had my Birthday dinner here. Only 4 people, ordered a chicken parmi that was served with Dorito salsa and not tomatoe paste and cheap cheese. Steak on the stone was okay. Yiros plate came with cheap cheese and off Lettuce that had plastic sliced in it. And a sticky pork meal with burnt pork belly bites. Not very good not worth the money. Even with a renovation.

Came out Saturday night for a meal with my family, we absolutely loved it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Highly recommend will be back again.

Fast friendly service, food came out nice and hot, schnitzels were fresh and crispy, good selection in the salad bar with both hot and cold choices available. Front of house staff were great too.

Found hair in my food didn't offer a refund then took over 30 minutes for them to re make it and bring it out

Do like this place great meals and Buffet unfortunately last time I was there there was a 3 centermetre cockroach running across the dinning room floor. Think I'll give it a while before going back.. sorry about the review but I'm an honest poster 😑

I was on holiday from the UK and had the pleasure of visiting this lovely pub with my family., What a place, everything was perfect the meals, the staff and I must give a very big thank you to Naomi and Annette, the two managers who me made feel so at home thank you! I still have the fabulous rump steak stone grill in my mind! During the three times I did visit I was not at all disappointed with the food and the service. Just wish we had this place near me. If anyone is in this neck of the woods please visit you will NOT be disappointed.

What an awesome night we had at the Red Lion Hotel the food was great and really well priced. The band Gemstone Live Music was fantastic making us want to dance and sing the night away. As for the staff they couldn’t do enough for us all. Down to earth hotel with welcoming and unique vibe. Great for a relaxed good food good vibe type of night.

Lions Club of Angle Vale members held our Dinner/Social night at the Red Lion Hotel on Woodford Road, Elizabeth North last night. The stone grill steaks were absolutely the best!!! Service of our meals was very prompt and the staff very helpful and friendly. Good salad and veg buffet. Would certainly recommend trying the meals here. Everyone went home very happy 😊😊.

I love the red lion. Staff are so friendly and provide amazing service. Food is great and cheap prices compared to a lot of places. Kids eat free weekends. Great place to take the family for dinner if you don’t have a huge budget red lion is the place to go.

Fantastic meals for the $13 lunch special, with salad and veggie bar included. Amazing, friendly and very welcoming staff who make you feel like a local even if your aren't. Try the chicken and lamb AB.

Rang and booked a table. When we arrived they couldn't find our booking. Managed to get a table anyway. We ordered crumbed cauliflower to eat before our meals. Crumb was very pasty and cauliflower cold. Meals came out in a reasonable time. I cut through the middle of my chicken kiev and and it was completely raw. I notified a staff member who apologised. I asked for the salt and pepper squid instead. Still no joy. All i could taste was the flour they had dredged it in. It was totally inedible. Hubby had the stonegrill which didn't disappoint. I guess because he got to cook his own. I left hungry. Needless to say. We won't be back and we certainly wouldn't recommend it.

My Husband ordered the Red lion burger for dinner, it came out super fast. Half way through eating it he reliesed the patty was raw. Did not get an apology or a replacement or refund.

Yes that was a nice meal for me to be telling everyone who I know that you can go there for a very cheap price (hey the cheapest hotel that I know)

Depends on when you come and who’s working as to the service you’ll get. Regular staff are good, very high staff turnover seems like there’s always someone new to remember… need more chairs in beer garden. Beers cold, lines clean, good banter amongst regular patrons and staff. Security very nice. If you want a nice family atmosphere go during the day, if you wanna see Tweakers of Adelaide go to the gaming room after 1am. Staff quick to shut down any rubbish if you just inform them of it, they’re busy and can’t babysit you to make sure someone doesn’t approach you for $5 lol. Can go here alone as a female at any time and feel safe, make a bunch of friends (if you’re social).

Had a girls day lunch in December 23 and they were great wheelchair access is good and they accommodated my wheelchair

Paid $39 for a 300 pound porthouse steak medium done by the chef. Pretty sure it wasn't a 300 gram porthouse steak though and was cooked well done and was very tough so not really too happy as expecting it to beva little juicy. Chips were pretty decent though and salad bar pretty reasonable. Next time I'll choose the stone if i go back.

Great value lunch and friendly service.

Purchased the Vietnamese salad and the chicken was pink. Pointed this out to the waiter who took the meal back and that was it. No meal returned cooked or maybe a free desert. Nope nothing. Friend went to get a brandy. No brandy. lol. It’s a pub. Won’t be going back in hurry.

Blokes in the bottle o are always so lovely same with in the bar and kitchen fantastic food and budget friendly.

I recommend this place as they have a salad bar. The potato bake is tasty so is the steak you cook on a special stone. Prices are very affordable.

Was the worse experience ever, me and my Daughter had ordered a chicken snitzel only to be served up a snitzel that had been cut up and only half to both of us,so between my daughters plate and mine it would have been a full snitzel altogether.
