友人と2人で宿泊しました。 昔の建物をそのまま利用しているので、とても雰囲気があって良かったです。 一階のバーではお酒も飲めます。 水回りも清潔さが保たれています。 2025年1月時点では、朝7時になると工事の音が客室にまで響いてきてしまうのですが、宿泊料金が安かったのでしょうがないかなと思います。

Very good! One of the rooms in our group had an issue but it was quickly addressed when brought to the attention of the staff, other than that very comfortable and great amenities!

nice room cosmetically but noisy door slamming by staff for more than an hour and again in early morning was disturbing. Window did not close, noisy doors and floor boards. Not a place for peace and quiet. tv did not work properly.

Room clean,toilet clean.just improve check in time.i got delay for check in.

I found the staff so helpful and friendly. They helped take my luggage up and down the stairs and couldn't be nicer. Good food and nice decor too.

Visiting from interstate, I caught up with friends here for dinner. Atmosphere of the heritage pub like taking a step back to a better time. Everything clean, renovated bathrooms and everything plus more you'd expect in a classic pub. Huge shout out to the bar attendant Rebecca who served us our drinks and took our meal orders. She was friendly, inviting and knew I was a visitor almost straight away. She made me feel very welcome to be there. Food was great Australian classic pub dishes and incredible reasonable prices for Sydney. Meal was large and delicious. From my experience with the staff and chef, atmosphere and the fact I had a great time catching up with friends I hadn't seen for awhile, when back in Sydney again, I will be visiting the Royal Hotel Ryde. Highly recommend it.

Room was fine had a fridge which was good. Unfortunately womens shower not working, womens toilet no soap, no sanitary bins in any. Mens toilet very dirty. Showers dirty. Service and food amazing. Great shopping centre across the road. Quiet considering sport finals were on. The staff unfortunately have to work in smoking conditions which is appalling.

If you need a bed - its fine If you need anything you would expect in the hotel - you will be disappointed. Not even hairdryer?

Really disappointed I booked a room and accidentally put the incorrect date and was refused a refund because of there cancellation policy which is really disappointing as in some circumstances there should be at least some kind of waiver for booking incorrectly but I know now I will never book there again 😡

...Budget style hotel accommodation above a traditional Aussie pub ! Nothing fancy as it has shared showers & toilets but on the plus side it has good pub food & drinks below in the bar & restaurant. ...Good budget , no frills accommodation , close to Top Ryde shopping center & main bus routes.

2024 review Visited a year after my previous review. I tried the schnitzel parmigiana in the pub again. It maintains good standard. The food portion is big. I am sure I will visit the pub again. 2023 review I’ve tried crispy salmon tonight. It was recommended by another reviewer. It’s yummy. The skin was crispy and the potatoes tasted good. I am one of the loyal customers. Delicious food with reasonable price, especially 2 for 1 deal. Chicken Parmigiana and Prawn spaghetti are my favourites. Occasionally the food standard varies depends on the chef. Otherwise, it is a good place for dinner and drinks with friends.

Friendly bar staff especially bartender Chris he looks after his customers well and always cleaning up and keeping area clean.

Really good Southern fried chicken burger. Staff were really friendly and helpful (brought out jugs of water after they saw our big group). Food is really generous and delish! Just need a bit of salt on their chippies 👌

Close to shopping centre and public transport to city. Basic accomodation but does the trick if you only need a place for a comfortable sleep

Atmospheric century old pub situated just a block away from the A3.

Stayed there for the night in a 6 bed room was nice and clean good service, great pub, only bad thing is the the shared bathroom was a little grubby.

What a disgusting restaurant ,food was cold , on complaining , the manager appeared ,and was totally threatening , as in saying he only took complaints if 75 percent of food was left on the plate , as indeed there was , my partner had to return his order as ,food was cold , got another plate and it was just as Bad .so my advice would be never eat in here the place was deserted 6 Folk in on a Saturday evening ! If a manager has to resort to threatening behaviour there is something wrong in the Management , perhaps too many complaints ?

Dirty and overpriced rooms. The pub downstairs is nice, but everything else is not.

I always go to Top Ryde pub for a team meeting. Great service and friendly manager, food was nice. Been visit there for a long time.

Spent a few nights for the new year here, not enough toilets / showers for the size of the hotel, was expensive for the quality of the hotel

Good old pub nice clean rooms we stayed there 9 days ago and re booked only to find out that the price was an extra $90 per night not happy

Had a really lovely stay, great value for the price. We checked in on a hot night just wish the aircon was a little stronger. Beds were super comfy and room was very clean. Would stay again :)

Found toe nails, blood, and hair on my bed and the mattress was disgusting. I wouldn't recommend. Staff are friendly but..:')

I booked through Agoda and while the photos looked nice, there was no indication that the bathrooms were communal, and the women's shower was also out of order during my stay. I noticed a musty smell as soon as I got to my room. The air vents were covered in dust, so I reluctantly tried opening the window. Unfortunately, my room faced the main road, so it was incredibly loud. Not only that, the window is broken and will slam shut. There was a no-refund policy for my booking. Having checked in after 9PM on a Friday, I didn't have many options. I tried to make it work but between the bathrooms, smell, and constant sneezing, I decided I was too uncomfortable to stay. I checked out at 11:30PM that night. The staff were very lovely and understanding about the situation. I let them know I'd contacted Agoda about my booking. My booking at the Royal Hotel cost me about $350. Since I couldn't stay, I had to book another hotel, costing me an additional $400. In these circumstances, under Australian Consumer Law, I believe I'm entitled to a refund. It's now been almost two weeks since I contacted Agoda about the possibility of a refund, but they haven't gotten back to me. At the end of the day, the accommodation simply didn't suit my needs. My main issue is with Agoda's handling of the situation, but I'm grateful for the staff at the Royal Hotel for their help and understanding.

The WORST hotel ever. Did not allow us, with minors to enter because of they require the card number in my debit card which for some reason was left although showed them my Google Pay debit card itself. They would ask for ID (showed them my ID) and the dc/cc numbers. Of course in Google Pay it's just the last 4 digits that are unhidden. I told them I will repay using the exact the same card to tap on my phone but they won't allow. We (with kids) ended up going somewhere else because they refused us. TERRIBLE!

Tried their chicken burger recently and it’s easily one of the best burgers I’ve ever tried , also with a free pint of beer with any burger on sundays , amazing . It’s 7 stars from me

The Staff are amazing, you couldn't ask for a friendly bunch. Room was upgraded without even asking. Just needed a vacuum under the bed. Free drink at the bar Bistro also great.

We attended this hotel to watch the Matilda's play their match against France on the big screen . After trying about eight controllers , none of them worked on that TV , but my son in law sorted it . Staff very busy , but worked hard to keep the numerous patrons well lubricated and happy . Food of good quality, three of us had the Guinness pie and thoroughly enjoyed it . If on the menu , would recommend. An old style pub that still hits its straps .

I got my room without cleaning, I had to wait 1 hour for them to clean it and it was already 8 at night, which is unacceptable since they had all day to do it, additionally we were not the only ones with the same problem, very dirty bathrooms and the door of my room had a bad lock. I do not recommend it at all, the first time this has happened to me in a hotel.

Staff lovely food and location great! the only downfall was our room.. we were sneezing and nose constantly running because how dusty the room was. Maybe need to pay more attention to the cleaning the curtains and vacuuming of whole room. But other then that location very close and central to a lot of places mall, city etc.

Room was fine. Large and clean. Shared bathrooms weren’t great as the toilet near us didn’t lock and the women’s showers weren’t open. The showers that were available didn’t have anywhere to place your dry clothes like a stool or bench, nothing. The toilet I used didn’t have soap and was a little dirty. This place was maybe just a little better than a backpackers but 5x the price.

Stayed there for 1 night, was pleasantly surprised with the friendly staff. Licensee and Hotel Manager were great as well as the bar staff, very accommodating. Water pressure in the showers was fantastic. Would visit again :)

We came from Perth a few weeks ago and stayed here and it was so lovely. We had a little issue with getting into our room, but the staff quickly sorted it for us and took care of our bags. The rooms were very nice, especially for the very low price, shared bathrooms weren't a problem at all. We had the Veggie burgers for dinner and they were incredible! Little noisy on the first night but it was fine. The amazing staff make the place so worth it!!
