We love Schnitz. The food is always amazing. Being in the middle of a shopping center, there was a lot of foot traffic, which didn’t make it the nicest spot, but the food makes up for it. Not shy on the chips and great value for money.

Ordered a Parma and a portion of fries whilst on my break from work and it's pretty safe to say I enjoyed it. Fries were great, nicely cooked, fresh and seasoned well. I also enjoyed that they were big fries, a nice change of pace. The Parma was alright, I haven't had many Parmas and compared to the ones I have had, this one was pretty nice. The portion was acceptable for the price, it was crispy and covered well in sauce and cheese. My only complaint would be that it wasn't seasoned that well. I enjoyed the cup of sauce, the man at the front recommended it to me and it met my expectations. Sufficiently creamy and tangy, with a tasteful combination of flavours like tomato, sweet chilli and mayo. The guy at the front was patient, and presented a halal certificate when I asked for it. Helped me find a dish that would work for me. The price was a bit steep, 18.80 for a Parma, a portion of fries and a small cup of sauce. Environment is pretty nice, modern and up to date. Although it was quite small and could come across as cramped, I could work with it. However, I sat outside and the chairs outside were very uncomfortable and gave me tailbone pain. Wait time was about 20 minutes, which isn't too bad. Overall, I enjoyed this place, even though the price was a little bit bad. 8.0 for Schnitz Dandenong.

The lady at the front was very nice but the man who gave me my order was very rude I asked for a bigger bag and he proceeded to get upset I’m very annoyed and will not be going back when his there

Very honest staffs! Didn’t realise I have credits on my schnitz account, until the staffs draw it to my attention. Having my schnitz free of charge as I type this! 👍

Came here with a friend because nandos wasn't open yet and he'd never had schnitz before. The staff member there was quite the salesman with his charisma, and made the process far more enjoyable, and in raving about how good the chips were (they were, lightly salted just crispy and moist on the inside), he saw my friend give me one and came out and gave me a free small one so I wouldn't pinch any 😂. Very friendly engaging staff, and he's right, chips are goated

I had a fantastic experience at Schnitz Dandenong last week with my friends. We tried the 'Spice of Life' item, and it was absolutely delicious. The food was flavorful and perfectly spiced, and the service was top-notch. Highly recommend this place for a great meal and a pleasant dining experience!

Service is really great - staff are polite and food is made quickly. However, on my recent visits I’ve noticed some significant shrinkflation happening. The wraps seem tiny now!! Not sure if I’ve just been unlucky with who has been making mine, but I really hope it’s not the new normal.

This is more a review of the guy at front of house yesterday, his friendly, accommodating attitude stood out, service like that brightens your day. The food was good, as always, and if I'm passing through again in the future I'll stop in.

Always a pleasure to dine here, best place for a quality quick bite if you down dandy area. The cook the beef schnitzel in the best way possible, no one can beat their chips... They have Halal options too. Great food, friendly staff and quick service, can't ask for more.

A great Schnitz franchise, the food is always fantastic and the staff are lovely.

Today at about 6.30 pm , me and my friend visited this place. We just bought a medium chips for a time pass. During dining, Sam came to us and talk in a very friendly manner. Very polite, kind and helpful. We will come back again to have something bigger here. I never see such a cheerful employee in any restaurant ever before. See you Sam again.

Friday night at 8:30 I ordered medium chips. I was very polite, I received the chips after three chips I noticed there was much more than the average amount of salt on them. I ate them anyway I got home and my blood pressure was through the roof. I don't know what I did to deserve this as I was very polite and not rude?

Can only rate the service, got my food delivered by Door Dash, 1 wrap was missing, rang store and spoke to manager, i explained there was 1 wrap missing, he said can't be I packed it myself, I told him to ask the driver as he verified there was only 2 items not 3 like receipt had on it, he was rude as, eventually hung up the phone on me.

Rex looks after his customers. Service is speedy and they listen and understand what you need and want. The schnitzel was moist and the toppings flavoursome. Very rude behaviour of staff, does not know how to speak with customers, the tallest guy there is very arrogant & speak with deliveries like we are working under him, he said don’t come to my Resturant, who the hell is he to say this ??? Teach them how to speak & give them lessons to change his behaviour.

Had a burger with family at Dandenong Schnitz. Loved one of the staff members name Vanshu. What a enthusiastic and welcoming employee. So glad to share for this employee such a perfect fit to be in customer servicing. Sharing my honest experience and a great feedback being a customer.

Expensive. Their burgers are good. The salads are ok. But they put so much salt on the fries they’re inedible. And it’s an ongoing problem. A hint to the chef: You can’t make dried out, rubbery fries taste better with lethal amounts of salt - that will just kill your customers off. And who’s handing out licences in this region to people who can’t cook? They seem to be everywhere. It never used to be this way. But over the last few years, ordering food in this region is like a game of Russian roulette. Grim.

This store is playing non stop music with swear words in them - there are children attending this place and it's just plain wrong Also I'm Coeliac and your staff have no idea how to NOT CONTAMINATE a gluten free meal Every time l've tried to eat here, l've had a gluten attack so I won't be eating here anymore there are other Schmitz stores that do look after my allergy) Also one of the team members was wiping her nose on her glove 🧤 not changing it at all

Normally absolutely love it here. The male manager I've spoken to has been so lovely and welcoming. However 2 days ago while I was dining in, I observed a staff member take the bins out, bring the bins back in and then continue to make food wearing the same pair of gloves without changing them and washing his hands. Also observed a staff member wipe their nose on their glove while cooking and another using their mobile phone while still wearing gloves. Really freaked me out. I hate posting negatively but I just wanted the manager to know so he can encourage the staff to do better/retrain in hand hygiene or food safety or something.

I have been to many different schnitz restaurants and nothing beats the one in dandy plaza. Excellent service, amazing food and friendly staff. The chef had impressed me with his cooking skills today. Served me a perfectly cooked chicken parma with chips on the side. Would 100% recommend you to come here!
